I love this song, and I love Ozzy’s cover of it. It’s such a brilliant masterpiece. Mix in the video, and it just makes it that much better, and mean so much. Given all of that: I think that the world today has lost a lot of the messages that the lyrics of this song were trying to convey. People now have forgotten how to go forward. They claim to know how to, but their actions show something different. They claim to know how to give, but all that they do is take sometimes without even knowing what they are taking. I get that it’s a struggle to learn how to survive, but people now aren’t even willing to learn. I digress, I just ruined a perfectly good comment section, so for that I do apologize! I find it amazing how well Ozzy’s voice has held up over the years, through the rock and roll music and the rock and roll lifestyle.
It’s amazing, too, how many legends have come and gone since Black Sabbath started, and yet Ozzy still stands tall. It’s nice to see someone like him paying homage to his own heroes, never forgetting where he came from himself.
Ozzy is a Legend. Even people who are not actual fans of his know who he is and are gobsmacked to actually see him in person. Ozzy loves his fans as much as they love him, very nice man. I have never been disappointed with any of his many concerts i have been to over the years.

I was playing music from my past and present. This is the first time I heard this song, sung by Ozzy whom I love dearly and have seen many times. I never got to see John in person but his songs I hold dear to me and bring back many great memories growing up. I needed to hear this song. I used to watch this and feel intense envy towards these people that got to see him in person and not on stage. Then I had a meet and greet with him. I hugged him, had a chat and he signed my copy of his biography. I am still envious of these people beacuse it was spontaneious for them but fuck it!
