5th Annual CGR Back-2-School Bash

We are thrilled to announce the 5th Anniversary of our CGR Back-2-School Bash, scheduled for Saturday, August 3, 2024. In collaboration with Metro Nashville Public Schools Visual Arts, The PENCIL Foundation, and other local nonprofits, we aim to provide art supplies and additional school essentials to students. A 2022 study on arts education found it reduces disciplinary incidents, boosts writing skills, and fosters emotional empathy. Notably, it benefits elementary students by increasing school engagement, aspirations for higher education, and cognitive empathy. With budget cuts looming in Tennessee, ensuring access to arts supplies is crucial for students' development as artists.
