I saw this Hulk episode in '78 and being a big Duel fan I recognized the footage right away. I believe they did the same thing on the Hulk with footage from Airport 1975.
Duel 1971 actor is Dennis Weaver as David Mann was his good actor. And Dennis Weaver was good driving the Red Plymouth Valiant in 1971. The Incredible Hulk 1977 episode 7 Never give a trucker an even break. In the Red Plymouth Valiant Bill Bixby as David and Jennifer Darling as Joanie in the Red Plymouth Valiant car. But The Incredible Hulk season 1 is ep 7 and not The Incredible Hulk season 1 ep 14.
When the footage was added in The incredible hulk just to save money. This is when Steven Spielberg took action to protect everything that he's films in the future. So, everything else he's filmed he owns and no one can touch to do something like this without his permission.
It's probably not a rip-off because this happens all the time. Studios generally pay a smaller price to license the footage then to have to film something similar. The exact same thing happened when I noticed years ago the scene in the Harrison Ford Tom Clancy film, Clear and Present Danger (I believe that was the one in the series), where they go down to South America and get ambushed in the alley while they are in white SUVs. The exact same scene was reused in an episode of either NCIS or Jag.

I remember that episode and I said the same thing, that was crazy. They were hauling cocaine in that truck it was in the trailer. Universal produced two of those trucks for the filming, only one got destroyed in the movie. So I guess the second one was used in The Incredible Hulk of the actual second truck that was spared from the Duel film. I don't know where is currently located.
You should have edited your video before uploading it that way we don't have to sit through 20 minutes of you saying "just bear with me, it's coming up"
I’ve been watching for almost 10 minutes and I’ve yet to see any direct comparisons.. I might have recommended that you cue up some examples or take note of the time codes instead of half a video of “bear with me..” This would have benefitted from editing.
It's not a rip-off at all. Both the TV show and the film were made by Universal Pictures. There were merely saving money on The Hulk beause it was an expensive show. They did the same with clips from the movie "Earthquake"

Two different Directors there not linked Universal are just the Distributors that’s all Hulk is Owned by Marvel not Universal , Universal just Distributed The show.
