This song will bring back the music and the times of ones ancestors the voice of the past will grow golden in your ears .It was true then as it is now time stands still for no man. Great video . Take care ADonovan43
the clock ticks on. currently i have at least three close friends whose clocks a running out of time. at least i KNOW that the other side is incredible. it is hardest on those left here.
Holy Cow...this is an Opus! It sounds like a Celtic barnburner / set-ender! Finally get to see Candice Night playing an instrument after learning of this band tonight. Have always loved the hurdy-gurdy and he found himself a good one. They seem like a cross between a sitar and a bagpipe but surpassing either of them. In the videos I have seen so far this is the closest I have seen to her having a (borderline) diva-ish moment before the song starts. Certainly I have known my share of them, almost all far worse than this one. Ritchie took it in the right frame of mind, though...I think he is starting to mellow slightly, and this was confirmed when I had a quick look at their website; they have released a song of winter carols, which, not having listened to it yet or seen any of the song titles, might be a nod to many of our Judeo-Christian roots??? Anyway, I will absolutely buy that album as well as many or all of their other stuff...can't wait to hear their version of "Greensleeves"...this group is a joy! I am starting to think they are the worst-kept secret in music!
Diva-ish? Far from it, not even borderline. she was just having fun. Ritchie got his own back later by playing an unepected guitar solo which threw her off for a few seconds. it's all done in good humour.
your music is always so moving! thank you, I have been a fan of Richie's since the early 70's and its nice to know he found something that makes him smile, Candice! love to you all! ❤🧡💛💚💙💜 a rainbow of love for all to enjoy!
I think I once saw the lot of these folks at a buffet restaurant called Sweet Tomatoes that used to exist in Largo, FL, sans Ritchie. Could have been my imagination, though.
It has a conical bore. It's classical descendants are the oboe family. The double reed of the shawm is played more freely than that of a modern oboe hence the "trumpetting" sound.
I have been a Ritchie Blackmore fan since the 70s. I have always loved Ritchie. It saddens me and breaks my heart to see the depth that he has fallen. From Deep Purple and Rainbow, to this. . . What a tragic end to a truly gifted musician. To fall from the mountain top and end up on rock bottom, all because of a woman!! Sad Sad Sad
what re you talking about? ritchie is active with rainbow with ronnie romero now. I like BN too though I fans of rainbow (never like deep purple, too many filler song)
You trully don't know what a great musicians is. Here Blackmore show that at an age where almost all musicians are done, he can continue to evolve and produce totally original and manificient song, like he always did in his career. Maybe you don't know all the other song from BN, but if don't, I can ensure you that he didn't loss any af his musical sense and guitar feel.
Tielman Susato, 16th century German (or maybe Dutch) composer and publisher. I learned and played a couple of songs/pieces by Susato as a young classical guitar student some 45 years ago...
it lloks to me that candice is playing a cenuries old oboe. bach has his volume tured all the way up. ritchie talked about how much he is influenced by bach
it is sad when PERFORMERS! cant keep ryhtm... sad attempt at but omg i love this song! OTHER THAN that! GREAT PERFORMANCE!!!! but lmao i love how thye blip her comment at the start twice...(foreshadowing!!!)
I have watched Richie play guitar ambidextrously, today I look at this video and know that he is a really gifted musician
I can't put into words how good this is.
If not adjoined in the past, they are clearly two interwoven souls with a common taste for life who have found each other.
She is so sweet and funny!! Beautiful and great singer!!!
they're performing with such joy and dedication, it must be a great experience seeing them live! love their music!
ritchie and candice are absolutely the best creators of music today
You are SO right
Have this full show on DVD (Paris Moon), if you do not have it, get it now!! Awesome capture of the band :)

First saw them live in 2001 (I think...its a few years back now!) and they were superb ever onwards.

Blackmore knight
Trovadores Celtas It's a medieval and Renaissance instrument called a "shawm"
It has a conical bore. It's classical descendants are the oboe family. The double reed of the shawm is played more freely than that of a modern oboe hence the "trumpetting" sound.
Shawm,from the Latin calamus ,"reed"
Muito foda.
Они такие доступны!

Красиво , приятная пара
Все музыканты хороши❕👏
👍
oooooooooooooooooooooooooo
What is the name of the instrument that Blackmore plays at the beginning?
Hurdy Gurdy, may not be spelled right..
It is a Hurdy Gurdy czcams.com/video/gYJg9cLk1us/video.html
Great band but the audio is out of synchronization.
I have tried to find more information on the composer. I can't catch precisely the name she quotes "Tielman Cisando"?
Tielman Susato, 16th century German (or maybe Dutch) composer and publisher. I learned and played a couple of songs/pieces by Susato as a young classical guitar student some 45 years ago...

E, non si può sistemare lo sfalso tra canto e immagine ?? Oee’, dico! Con tutti i magheggi che esistono sull’ argomento !! 😮
Well there's an instrument I could play. I can at least understand keyboards lol
they are modern traving misntreals they could be sucked back intime and play for kings and the king wouldnet bat a eye:)
@ScriptWorker And sings sometimes out of tune. Eventho Im big fan of BMN it disturbs me.

Now this flute Candice plays... wish it was not so out of tune
Not a flute, some type of recorder - anyway turn off the sound and just look at Candice - does it for me!
BLACKMORE SHOULD PISS HER OFF AND GET BACK TO PROPER ROCK
You should fuck off back to Rainbow or Deep Purple videos Mr Troll.
