My father - an Australian Federal Police Inspector was his arresting officer & was responsible for escorting him back to the UK, staying over for the trial to give his evidence. Dad’s other claim to fame was just missing the Great Train Robber by 10 mins in suburban Melbourne. Briggs was tipped off & fled overseas just before Dad & his partner arrived to capture him.
Your Dad must have some great stories Paula.
Our MP in Walsall. He more or less died live on TV. I remember him being on Central weekend. He fell ill.
Of course, after watching the tv series this past couple days here in the US, I wanted a great summary to show to people to get them interested in it. This is a perfect summary, new subscriber here, great editing! And wow, I had never realized the timeline of Lord Lucan. Wow, thanks!
This guy was just a creep, no excuses
And the assistant who married him and had his child must be nuts! Who would want his genetic material? 😮
Somebody commented " There has always been and always be Jonh Stonehouses in the houses of parliment "
