Driving Unparallelled's B18C EK4 at Central Circuit [CIRCUIT LAP]

  • So for context, I felt like my EF was acting a bit weird again but I was the only one to feel it (which is very frustrating). So when I got the opportunity to kidnap Ken from Unparallelled on a track with me, I asked him to test drive my car HARD.
    He said "sure, you can drive mine then lol"
    So here are a few conservative laps around Central Circuit, in a 1.9L (Spoon 1.8L base + TODA bore up kit) EK4 with a close ratio transmission, full titanium one off exhaust and 14 years of circuits and [other places] tuning and settings.
    He warned me it was set to understeer rather than oversteer (in opposition to my EF) which is a bit new so I didn't push it too much, but still fast enough to have fun~
    And yeah, it was soooo good! I can feel that I wasn't even close to using the full braking potential of the car and that I could have floored it way earlier in most corners, but I didn't want to take any risk when given such an amazing car to test out.

    (And yeah, we realized that my vibrations only happen when the car is hot hot, which is why I was the only one to ever feel them. Now, onto fixing them~)

    Je pense tu connais trop ton ek sur le bout des ongles donc la moindre variation de comportement tu vas la ressentir alors que les autres ne verront rien de flagrant.
    Sinon intéressant et honorant de piloter la sienne, clair qu’il faut adapter la conduite à la méca et aux settings et à l’historique de la voiture en savourant mais en restant mesuré dans la prise de risque sur le circuit, mais c’est cool ;)

      Ouais il y a beaucoup de ça (mais finalement c’est bon la colonne de direction a pété donc j’avais raison il y avait bien un truc!)
      Sinon ouais, c’était incroyable de conduire la sienne!
