I cried. I am a senior this year and it is so sad that it has had to end like this. To my fellow seniors, we are in this together. My hearts go out to all of you. We have worked so hard for our moment to be snatched from us. This song is amazing.

This is so awesome!!! My kids are 29 and 33, but I can't imagine it if they couldn't finish out their senior year :( Hang in there Class of 2020 -- you were born during the 9/11 problem...and now a pandemic....you are stronger than you all know!!!

My son is a 2020 senior ... and it's rough for them. Prom, graduation, and college visits ... all of these were denied to them. He can't hang out with his friends (hasn't seen them in person in over 2 months). It is surreal for the kids and they know that they've missed out on a lot. My son was actually born just a handful of days after 9/11. In our state, the cut off is the end of September. This song is amazing.

March the 13th, 2020, 3:25 PM. They had just cancelled our musical Mamma Mia! Which we had worked SO hard on since November of 2019. Right before I walked out the door, I looked at one of my best friends and said "See you Monday", About an hour later we got a Call from Our School Supervisor saying school was cancelled, Monday never happened
I'm sorry that you never got to do the musical. The same thing happened for me but with my last choir festival which was also supposed to be on the 16th and we all rehearsed the songs on Friday and were really excited for Monday. Then later that day we got a message from the choir teacher saying our festival was canceled :(
Jonathan Sandidge So sorry to hear that those things happened to you guys, I feel for you 💙I’m in the same boat: my marching band was supposed to march in the NYC St. Patrick’s Day Parade, and a few weeks after that my choir was supposed to travel to Williamsburg and Washington DC for a trip/competition combo. Needless to say that these things never happened :(

Thank you so much, this made me feel happy, I literally had my senior year taken away from me it sucked I worked so hard to cross the finish line and to see that I never got to go to prom or have a senior trip and I never even got to say goodbye to any of my friends or teachers
I'm class of 1990 & that sucks too. Many suicides & accidents. Seems unfair, but be strong. Life is a roller coaster. It goes so fast. Make your life matter & count. Thank God for the Class of 2020! Your lives matter my loves! Our future.
Wow, what a beautiful song! The pianist and the singer outstanding!! Today I took pictures of my cousins kids, high school and middle school. No graduation, but they and many friends kids worked hard, taking classes online, having their mom help with “homeschooling” because of the pandemic. Congratulations Class of 2020, you are unique. Sorry you can’t have the graduation you all deserve. If you could do this, you can do anything!!! I wish the best for you all. Blessings to all!

I graduated Freehold Boro High School Class of 2020 in June and I cried when I heard this song
*Congratulations to the Class of 2020* You did it despite what’s going on. Be proud as we, the parents, are. We are celebrating with you all in our homes. I’m a single momma and never thought my only child would not be able to walk up to the stage to get his diploma and get to feel just as I did when I graduated. I’m sad for you all, but still happy at the same time. No more assignments, yay!
Poor kids. Knowing they are being drafted and going to fight for our country. Many of them will never see their families again. Sure their names will be memorialized on a wall but that is no substitute for their lost chance at life. Never getting to become a parent, never growing old with their spouse, never even getting the chance to really live their lives. Hug your senior tonight becuase you dont know how long until Uncle Sam takes them from you and sends them to a place from where they never return. The class of 2020 has suffered like no other and we have to remind them of how special they are because they are being forced to fight this war. I cant think of anything more tragic that could happen to a group of seniors in high school. Class of 2020... the lost senior class. Rest in peace, your bravery in this time will never be forgotten.

This song really means a lot. As a graduate, I'm so glad that even though there are so many tragic things happening right now, there are still a few people thinking about us and it honestly makes this whole thing a lot easier to deal with. There are so many unknowns with this pandemic and life hasn't been fair to anyone. I really hope we see the end of the virus within the next year.

March 12, 2020 4:00 pm I got an email saying Battle of Classes is postponed. Student council and everyone involved especially the participants worked so hard for the past month.
March 13, 2020 2:30 pm I got an email saying school is closed for the rest of the year. We were so close to winning BOTC
I can't believe this happened to us since we were so close to graduating. I never got a chance to go high school dances, Senior prom was the one dance I can go to. That was a bust. At least I got to see everyone before school ended.
