- It's taken a little time to get around to the 2nd part of this stucco/desert building tutorial, but finally ... we get some paint on it!

Really nice could use these on so many different games. An add on to them might be the drains used to get water off the roof. small holes drilled and use straws maybe those little coffee stirers. They'd leave nice stains down the walls whereever they were.
Indeed! On one of the sets I've done I used little scrap pieces from the windows and some wooden dowel to create downpipes, added some air conditioners, antennas etc ... they look great!
Thanks for this, and the stucco texturing tutorial. I built my first piece of terrain and it turned out great!
Definitely going to use these techniques in the future. One thing I've used for the roof of these building types is gluing sandpaper to it. Adds a different texture to the roof. Thanks for doing the how to videos for these.
I never thought of using water base stain for weathering. Thanks for sharing this and I will be using this method in the future.
Top notch job, look so realistic...Thanks for sharing, I'll try this!
Great tutorial. I need to make a spray booth, it would be a real life saver in the wet and windy British winter.
They are soooo good. You can get cheap ones (like mine) from aliexpress and ebay etc ... I have noticed though, that even without a filter the suction on the fan has decreased considerably! I need to open it up and see what is going on ... it vents into my roof space so perhaps some critter has found its way into the extraction pipe ... gross!
Looking forward in assisting my son on his mission project, will be using some of these tachneques. Thanks you very much.
Really good stuff! Thanks a bunch for this. Ive peen painting for 7 years and learn some Really good stuff here.
Awesome, another new thing I learned from you. Apart from saw dust + latex paints to make grasses and the use of wood rasp! Your use of woodcraft stain is genius. I'm definitely gonna check that out. I use a mixture of water, glue and acrylic for my washes and the occasional oil paints but the woodcraft stain can possibly do it all. Thanks for that!!
I love using the stains .. they come in loads of different colours and shades, if you get the water based ones they can be thinned very easily and can be used to great effect!
Have a Merry Christmas and a great 2018!
Great tutorial man, I appreciate it! 👍
Thanks for the video. Was very informative.
Dame that is pretty:)!!!! Looks FANTASTIC Buddy!!!!:)
I noticed you got the sound quality fixed , good job VIV
hehe ... well, actually ... I filmed some other stuff on the weekend without mics and forgot to switch the mic settings on the overhead camera back to line In, so the sound is actually coming from the 'face' camera, so the mic is actually doing nothing!
gobbling up these videos right now!
Awesome, thank you my friend!
Heyy ! Great to see you in my sub box. Great vid as always!
Cheers! Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment!
Dope stuff Viv, just a shame my Tabula Rasa stuff is already painted, I haven't done weathering yet, but now the AC units and ladders are added, I should start making a mess.
very good painting work, I will follow you to see your next videos. Regards my friend
Great video. Really enjoying this series so far. Are you going to do anymore tutorials soon?
Lots more!! Coming up next will be some tutorials for how I painted the 'club box' buildings
Neat result. The three can idea works really well - consider it stolen :)
looks good to me
I just use sandstone texture spray, it looks very Tatooine. I have to tape any greebles and paint details after.
Greetings from the Uk Viv . I would like to ask you if you would consider doing a new video on how to play Saga 2.0 . The video you did years previous was amazing and so easy to follow that it was what got me started in the hobby . I played my first game and found the core dynamics a little challenging. Thank you
Hi martin, I would love to do a new series of videos and have reached out to Studio Tomahawk for support ... let's see what they come back with. Cheers
Disposable gloves work a treat too.
Hehe, I have a whole packet of them just off camera but I'm terribly bad at remembering to use them! :)
Have you ever tried spraying on top of the previous spray still wet/damp, sorta "wet-blending" kinda thing?
Not done so myself, wondered if you would get a nicer transition across the final spray colours? ... Walts
I have, a lot depends on the paints you are using ... they can react badly to each other, and in some cases the results can be very interesting!
Hello, where can I buy such paint. Can I give an online store? I also make a Diorama in oriental style. You did just fine!
Where can I get Sigma 80 graffiti paints in the USA? Do you have the tone numbers available so I could match them here please? I checked my local art store. They do not have this line. Thanks in advance!
Hrmmm, I'm not sure about the USA. Sigma 80 is just a brand of graf spray, I'm sure you could find something similar from brands you have there. You might need to hunt down a specialist store like I had too, my local art stores weren't of any use.
Do you prime the bottom of MDF terrain for sealing purposes?
No. Of the many hundreds of buildings we've painted I don't think we've painted the bottom of a single one of them ... never seem to have noticed any problems.
ty for info. I am painting my first MDF Buildings. I am prepping for Dracula's America and am trying to learn everything I can
Have fun! Lots of videos out there, but if you have any questions feel free to ask away!
