When we talk about fun alone...it has to be Counter units. The feeling of buffing one unit and counter each attack with huge visual impact when it comes to Svarog at least is amaizing.

My favorite team has to be firefly superbreak comps, I love how it allows someone with absolutely horrid relic quality to hit really big numbers. On top of that it allows almost all of ur party members to contribute to the dmg :)
Very true. Single handedly MC made loads of characters MoC 12 viable. Also allowed for someone like Misha to be either a Hyper Carry or a Super Break DPS that keeps them broken longer aswell as def shredding. I'm excited to the counter attack teams maybe happening soon aswell as March being a great duo dps option. I plan on building her when she releases. Her dmg numbers were insane. I just hope they don't nerf her like Jaoiqui.
Kafka is my favourite character. The fact that she's lighting (my favourite element) dark purple coded made me love her instantly as soon as I saw her design.... It also helps that she's hot.
Technically, Acheron and Super Break are both Hypercarry teams. You are dumping all your support into one unit (Acheron, Firefly, or Boothill) to deal massive damage, they just require different ways to do it than the standard "give lot's of attack buffs."
@overseerpjoe9477 in super break hmc and gallager still do provide a pretty significant portion of your teams damage, plus hmc and rm buff the entire team and everyone can do solid damage
My favorite character is Aventurine. Even before we found out his backstory, there was just something about him. He was charming and fun to interact with. And then you find out about his origins and realize how admirable his attitude and goals are. Plus, I love the implied ship between him and Ratio😊🥰
I really really love Boothill and his gameplay is so fun as well. It's sad that he is neglegted by hoyo and didn't get much screentime. My other favs are Aventurine and Sunday, love how they are written. My current teams rn are Boothill and Acheron and love them bc of the different playstyle. I also got Firefly accidentally and I am also having a blast with her.
Gotta love the Follow UP Supreme Team of Dr. Ratio, Robin, Aventurine, Topaz, and Numby. Oh, my favorite character is easily Dr. Ratio. He's the me I want to be.
@@coyohma8947 Asta is good if you're going for Topaz main DPS. Although I wouldn't suggest using her as a main dps if you don't have either e1 or s1. I use my Topaz for Super Break team sometimes. Also I use Asta in a Super Break team. My Asta has 110% BE and 161 spd. She can deal good dmg with Ruan and MC. Especially single target.
Qingque is my goat she has basically everything you could want high single target damage, high aoe damage and a follow up plus she does 5 star character damage
My favorite character is deffinetly Argenti, his playstyle might not be my favorite (I still enjoy it) but I love his character and character design, AND I love red haired characters so bonus point to that. Sadly I'm deffinetly not getting him since I'm at 20 pity currently and I have no content to go through to get some jades because I went to 75-80 pity 3 times last patch for Firefly and Ruan Mei (kinda regret firefly ngl) 😭
Topaz is my favorite HSR character, she has so much style and personality in the bits we have gotten from her. Also Numby is absolutely hecking adorable too
I still love DHIL and still use him to this day with mine at e2s1, 80/190 crit ratio on a slow build. I couldn't have had more value with him overtime apart from Acheron.
same. he's still my most well built dps. but oh boy am i so sick of him. imagine just using him from TB45 to TB68. i accidentally got Acheron at 18 pity and she was a breath of fresh air. i'm On my way! to build follow up attack IPC teams too.
E2S1 Imbibitor Lunae is just the most fun character to play in this game. Mine is built slow with 104 speed, 96,4% crit rate, 196,4% crit damage and 2838 attack. I should use him with lower crit rate, since Sparkle S1 gives 10% for free.

Himeko is my favorite, like everyone else I first was into her character for nostalgia reasons, and she was who I chose for my 300 pull selector. While I still can’t say I like Himeko in HSR solely due to her character and personality (unlike other Himekos) I can honestly say that her gameplay is really really satisfying, her voice line about combat being a series of precise machinations is so indicative of her playstyle, while I do wish her stacks can overflow, I think it does add a really nice planning part to the strategy. Here’s to hoping that Himeko gets some more spotlight in future patches, Penacony had so many moving parts it was really hard to focus on anyone but the main 3 key players.
I do like all of these teams and use them all but follow up teams happened to align with my favorite. I started playing the game for Jing Yuan and now Aven and Robin have joined the fam of favorite followup team members. Jingliu would have to be my next. Fell absolutely in love with her design right after seeing her in the first teaser and so glad I got her
My all-time favorite character is def sampo. he was my first limited 4 star pull and his shield shredding skill helped me a lot in early game. Add in his masked fool mystery and the chance of getting a 5 star version- i was sold. though aventurine and himeko came close. thus the dot team (with sampo, BS eluded me) was my favorite for a while, though the ipc fua team is the one i like the most rn. it's just fun looking at the chain reactions and the enemy dying without doing anything.
I'm glad you mentioned the mono quantum team! Sparkle enthusiasts would note her underutilized passive that buffs quantum damage immensely if there are up to three quantum characters on the field. If there's a common ice weakness in the mobs, Herta can also replace one to make room for Jade in the comp.
Favorite team type is the FUA comp with Ratio, Topaz, Aventurine, Robin for MOC and the new mode and with Himeko, Herta, Robin, Aventurine for Pure Fiction. There's just so much dopamine from seeing your favorite characters constantly attacking 😂
I have multiple favorite characters. In terms of purely character, screwllum is my favorite, followed by Argenti and Boothill. In terms of considering both character and gameplay Boothill is definitely my favorite, followed by Gallagher and argenti/serval.
I just wish Argenti was a bit better. The only thing slowing him down is my not having Huo Huo. Dmg is great just slow without her. Mine has 60/164 before battle with BP lc s5. He gets well over 100/270 crit in battle which is awesome. I may try to honestly switch out his attack rope for a ERR rope to see how the difference in dmg is.
Acheron team technically fulls the "Debuff" team category, as any character applies debuffs basically enhances this playstyle. Characters like ratio count as both a debuff dps as well as a fua dps
as a dhil main i wanna point out fu xuan is an amazing synergy for him i think she's his best sustain option bc matrix is tied to her plus your hp loss while it's active is minimal so you don't have to refresh every turn even if you're being slammed ofc if you're against enemies with a lot of cc then huohuo is still better but 9 times out of 10 fu xuan is more comfy on the sp economy plus our dragon boy is squishy ngl i've had mine get oneshot way too many times but ever since i picked up fu xuan it's no longer an issue and she also buffs crit rate which is huge for anyone who's struggling to get 70 crit rate on him while maintaining 170+ crit dmg or if you just want to get as close to 100 crit rate as possible ofc fu xuan also works with jingliu i seem to notice jingliu can use any character that dhil wants but sometimes dhil doesn't work with characters jingliu wants bc of his sp consumption (i have both so i'm speaking from experience)
I just returned to the game after stopping for several months, so missed out on a bunch of these units! Currently my favorite team is Seele, Sparkle, Jing Yuan and Luocha. Probably not the most efficient team, but they are fun.
Favourite star rail character would have to be Aventurine or Sunday, love Argenti too I don't really pull that many meta characters (husbando collector problems) but I gotta say even without Ruan mei my Boothill is super good. He's been carrying me in moc, I love the break play style
My fav is FireFly cause that's the only team that was fully given in the recent banner when I started the game. That break team will carry me for the long run & i don't even have all FF traces & I'm railroading all content 🤯
Thank you for bringing up Aventurine for Acheron teams. I think he's slept on for that team simply due to follow up teams existing. But what about accounts that don't use follow ups? Exactly. I have him E1S1 and he's so good on her team. Super easy to survive and still get ultimate easily. I feel like most people only bring up is Sparkle. My problem is they act like the Acheron team isn't usable with her unless Acheron is E2. To me that's false, if you have at least 1 nihility character, the damage loss actually isn't much at all. People just hyper focus on 1 part of Acheron kit, not looking at full team synergy which honeslty is way more important than 1 static % modifier.
Ratio also synergizes with Acheron really well, as he debuffs and builds follow-up chances based on the number of debuffs an enemy has. They aid each other in their goals!
I love your intros & outfit changes. My favorite character is Kafka she held me down ever since I got her. Crazy thing is I have no limited harmony and sustain unit but I still beat all endgame modes
My favorite character in the story is Dr. Ratio! But it's not often that I use him over my E2 Lunae for challenge content 😅 Built him anyway to use with Aventurine and Topaz, they're too fun together. Also I can't believe Jade has made Herta stocks climb even higher, she's been one of my fave characters from the start of the game and she's come so far from D tier DPS for MOC
I love Acheron, but you need to be mindful of her teamcomp, unlike break or DOT team, where your lineup never changes, Acheron shines when you have optimal teammates for the situation. For example, in the current MoC 12, I did the side with the 3 order puppets with Acheron. I only got 2 stars when using pela and silver wolf alongside Fu Xuan with Acheron. However, I switched Silver wolf for Guinaifen (Which is not completely built BTW) because all three puppets are weak to fire. I then got a three star clear.
being new to the game and getting both firefly + ruan mei during the half part of the main stories really helped me since I couldn't really understand LC and relics at that time I just wanted to know the story lmao
Omg I cant choose between my favourites; Acheron or Fu Xuan. Fu Xuans entrance had me MESMERIZED. It was so cool and definitely my favourite in the whole game. #badassqueen And I love her design Acheron on the other hands hit just so deep. She always talked so mysterious and I was really really invested in her story. And her tango with Black Swan was.. 💅
My current list on which rerun characters I will get(only mentioning the already released characters at the current moment) + Will 100% attemp to get - Kafka (Have acheron, but personal wants a DOT nihility team as well) - Black Swan (Same as Kafka) - Topaz (I have Ratio and Robin) - Aventurine (Best shielder + a follow-up attacker) - Huohuo or Loucha (Both great healers, but whether more attack+heal or more cleanse and energy regen? Not sure) + Might think about getting: - Blade (Cuz I have JL) - Sparkle (She's the only character that can increases SP, but I've never had any problem with SP, plus i have literally Harmony characters ecept her, so i think i can do find without her) - DHIL (If I get Sparkle, I should get him as well, no?) - Fu Xuan (I still have a bias or healer > shielder/reduce dmg)
Currently, on my second account i'm doing a 4star run, which only allows me to use 4 star characters, including the trailblazer, and i've had so much fun with it as of lately, the most fun team right now, consist of guinaifen, sampo, pela and gallagher/lynx , for simulated universe it deal a good amount of DoT, and is pretty strong
My ex-mains, Serval and Seele, go way back. Serval's gameplay was simple yet fun. She's cool as a character as well as her inspiring background. My most memorable moment playing her was when she got CC'ed by Svarog and I only got Natasha to clutch up for my first try. As for Seele, she saved me from struggling with the Ebon Deer boss. Well, the only thing I like about her is her passive. It's quite satisfying when you manage to kill a normal chunky enemy while preempting her ult. I would say that we've been through a lot. Even though she's E0 without Bronya or Sparkle I still won't complain. Along the journey, I pulled Kafka when she first got released for obvious reasons plus she's badass. Totally sucks that I didn't have a team for her that time but still did not regret pulling her ofc. Left for about 8 months then came back and got to learn about Acheron and BS from the past event through their trial and boy were they fun af with Kafka. So I got Acheron and she totally helped me out with farming and the recent campaign. And here I am saving for BS who I missed. I will get the next purple titan!
Acheron is definitely my favorite currently, but Lingsha also has my absolute favorite design and im excited to see how her character is (I also love characters from hi3 *cough* Nuwa and Mei.)
I started as a Jing Yuan hypercarry, then transitioned into follow-up team with Topaz & Ratio, and now I’m all about the breakers. No resources for dot or destruction teams. So many 50/50 loss, got to stick to cheaper teams. Makes me real glad I got Ruan Mei, she has been a linchpin in my teams. Still waiting to lose 50/50 to a himeko and not another ice boy.
In regards to favorite character as far as character depth goes I would say Acheron. I would like to delve more into the backstories of the other members of the Astral Express. As far as team I actually use it would be Firefly, Ruan Mei, Harmony MC, and Gallagher. Granted it’s about the only team I have built up to my current level of play through since I’m waiting until I can make characters level 80 before I start working on another team as well as the fact I didn’t start playing until the Firefly banner so I don’t have a huge list of characters to use like some people who have playing for longer.
FuA is the most fun. As I was forced to skip Robin both times, I only got to enjoy it after getting Jade this time round. Her with Hertha and Robin is just mayhem
Still somewhat of a new player, I never really understood if there’s a difference between buffs to break effect and “break efficiency”, whether if it’s just different names of the same thing or if they do different things?
Break effect - dmg when breaking. Break efficiency - bonus to toughness reduction (so you can deplete toughness bar quicker and inflict break dmg). It's a simplified answer, but also easy to understand.
All I've learned about this video is that getting Ruan Mei on her rerun was the best decision I have done since playing this game (new player recently played during the Robin banner). Also I 'hope that the Break teams don't fall off heavily in later patches because Its the only team I have currently.
I'm split between the Acheron team and the FUA team. Both fun to play. Though i played every Team Comps to try with. All fun. Favorite characters are the 2 Bronyas. Getting E4 for Bronya is still wild to me but an enjoyable one for I like playing HC teams with her. And Silverwolf (E1) is always been a mainstay for a long time. Even more so now with in a Acheron team.
Break Teams with Firefly and Harmony TB allowed me to break (no pun intended) into Endgame and help build out other characters thanks to all the incoming resources - so they get an automatic favorite. I do want to note that while Harmony TB is best for any break teams, Both Firefly and Boothill aren't dependant on them, because they carry their own sources of Superbreak. They'll still chunk enemy's HP Bars per attack with other supports, allowing you to make two teams that can brute force content with minimal elemental synergy. It was a great first investment for me.
Favorite team gotta be dot. kafka been carrying me through the game since 1.2, she's probably gonna be meta for a very long time paired with blackswan and potentionally other future dot characters as well

I have 3 out of those 5. I have break with Boothill and Firefly, hypercarry with DHIL and Jingliu, and Acheron. I dont have fua or dot teams, but I plan on getting Kafka, Black Swan and Topaz on rerun, so its just a matter of time.
For most favorite Character ironically Sampo. I always like rogue/assassin coded character especially in male characters, Moze is one of the incoming character in 2.5 hoping to get him soon alongside with Lingsha. 2nd is Black Swan, she's just enigmatic and elegant. For teams I had 2 main team that I used so frequently in MoC that is DHIL Hypercarry and RAT Mei Follow-Up team. While PF I got Argenti hypercarry and Jade/Herta. I have BS DoT team without Kafka, so I guess that is still work in progress.
my favourite character currently is sunday but before that it was dan heng il, blade, and jing yuan. i started playing the game for jing yuan and blade and i still use jing yuan to clear endgame content (blade’s been kinda benched tho bc no hp scaling supports 💔). need sunday to release soon, my favourite archetypes are angels and dragons
Hey Moon! I need your help I have Lynx and Gallagher as sustains for my two teams (DOT and Acheron) Should I pull for Huohuo for a better sustain or Jiaoqiu for a better improvement in my Acheron? OR skip 2.4 and pull for E2S1 Acheron (actually E0S0)?
This probably depends on your other favorite teams and who you're running Acheron with now 🤔 Huohuo isn't the best pick for an Acheron team, you know that. But if it's for a second good team she performs well in DoT and Hypercarry! Jiaoqiu is cheaper than E2 Acheron by far, I'd only try for E2 Acheron if you really wanted to use Sparkle in the team. Jiaoqiu would also work in a DoT team if needed. Maybe elaborate on what you have and what you lean towards or find fun :)

Only until MOC 9, PF 3 and AS 2 The Dot team runs fine with Lynx, Ruan Mei, Kafka and BS but NEEDS more buffs to make more damage without running sustainless; Huohuo is the best pick by far My Acheron team struggles so much with Acheron, Gallagher, Pela and Guinafen; they can not fulfill well the stacks for Acheron ultimate I think I'm gonna pull for Jiaoqiu after all, he's a battery for her team even with his nerfs
My favorite team right now is my Sushang Super Break team. My Sushang has 240% BE before battle. She is using Boothill LC Sailing Towards a Second Life. In battle she can get 207 spd. Thats insane. So my team is called Super Freak and its just Sushang, MC, Ruan, and Gallagher. If I pull for a certain upcoming character I can replace Ruan and Gallagher with a single unit and then I can add in a 2nd break DPS. Would love to see the type of no sustain teams we can get when Yunlin comes out. Meaning I can use her as a sustain and put Xueyi next to her. If Yunlin takes blast dmg, Xueyi will be hit. Which is fine bc she can heal herself. Im excited to see if this idea can work. If not Xueyi then maybe Clara for hilarious double counter attacks.
It really should have been mentioned that Bronya is Boothill's BIS. Giving him twice as many turns is actually insane given how much damage he dishes out. The 3rd slot is RM or HMC but if they are tied up in another comp (FF for instance) Boothill has a lot of great other options like Pela, Silver Wolf, etc. The fact that he is so flexible compared to FF cannot go unstated
I mentioned Bronya as an option because of her allowing you to speed things up, but you can do either one in my opinion. (I have tested both and they both feel good to play). I’ll try to mention best in slots more specifically next time regarding certain comps though
Honestly, I'm really digging Jade right now. E0S1 for me, so she's not seeing use outside of Pure Fiction and the second-to-last stage of the Stellar Shadow event, but the constant follow-ups are a ton of fun. They're even more frequent than the usual Himeko-Herta combo, to the point that I feel like I'm sometimes fighting to spend an Ult and not waste the energy generation. Firefly is getting a little oversaturated at the moment, with Divergent Universe as well as the current MoC and Apocalyptic Shadow all being tailor-made for her. And of course Acheron and DoT are eternally reliable, both separately and in conjunction. A part of me wishes I had picked up Boothill just so that I would have another reason to use Bronya. I mean, I also think he's cool, strong, and fun to use, but I'd really like an excuse to use Bronya more often. Jingliu isn't seeing a lot of use on my account recently.
I loveeee using acheron so i will go for jiaoqiu just for her. E2 acheron is probably something i don't wanna do since id rather get other supoorts in the future for her. So ill be one of the people who pulls jiaoqiu! Wish me luck
I hate how i missed all the banners of characters on the meta🥲 My current teams is Team 1: Ratio, Pela, Fu, Robin Team 2: Xueyi, Ruan mei, Hmc, Gallagher I love Xueyi ❤️ 😔 but her dmg gets lower when the Enemies dont have quantum weakness
I have 2 accounts one low spend and one ftp to collect characters i missed on my low spend, just so happens my low spend account seemed to missed some of the best resulting in my ftp account 3* moc 12 while my low spend is 2 cycles off. my ftp consists of Acheron kafka, Black Swan Aventurine, Firefly, HMC, Ruan Mei Gallager for most content, Argenti, SW, Pela, Himeko, Herta for PF ect. while my low spend can clear most content is better on PF because i have more choice, choosing Boothill over Firefly on my LS was a mistake it seems for this MOC.
I feel Jingliu and Daniel teams have been struggling as of late. Enemies lately seem to be tankier and toughness bars have gone up. Ofcourse you can still manage without much hassle
Currently use an E2 acheron team with bronya and the FuA team. It just makes everything very fun. 🙏 Wish i can branch out eventually but need to slowly build up jades again 😅 that RM drained my dry.
Superfly is my favorite team next to Acheron (isn't she just Hypercarry tho?). If it's not SU/DU I sometimes replace Gallagher with Asta for the extra ATK to BE conversion and huge SPD buff. Combined with Ruan Mei's weakness break extension and HMC's turn delay passive, at that point it's always Firefly's turn.
My Acheron team & Firefly break team are good enough to clear all the content with 3 stars Moc, PF & Apocalyptic Shadow so I'm satisfied enough with it, highly recomended it for newbie who had a hard time clearing contents.. Now I just need to get Lingsha or JQ to strengthen the team further for future content.. Maybe can also focus on e1/2 on each of the unit later 😂 Unless there will be future content where Im having a hard time clearing it therefore I would build another powercreep DPS..
dot teams have an insanely high requirment before they become viable, you need a 161 speed kafka with her lc and a really good black swan, anything below that makes it feel really weak i really dont recommend getting into dot teams unless you are willing to go for e0s1 atleast on both kafka and black swan , with both of their e1s being so huge it makes them kinda needed
My go-to team is Acheron, Kafka, Black Swan, and Aventurine. You don't die because of Aventurine, and because of the LC you get a stack of slashed dream when he gets attacked. I use it on everything. Really though it's all because Acheron is busted. She's busted in MoC, PF, and even outside of fights because of her technique! She's my favorite unit in the game.
Topaz! I even got her lightcone over Acheron's. As for storywise, it has to Aventurine, he had the best backstory, plot twist, and just his personality in general

As much as I love the other characters such as Acheron etc. I think for me Kafka BS dot and Mono quantumn will be my most comfy team for clearing the MoC.

My favorite character is Aventurine. Even before we found out his backstory, there was just something about him. He was charming and fun to interact with. And then you find out about his origins and realize how admirable his attitude and goals are.
Plus, I love the implied ship between him and Ratio😊🥰

I really really love Boothill and his gameplay is so fun as well. It's sad that he is neglegted by hoyo and didn't get much screentime.

My current teams rn are Boothill and Acheron and love them bc of the different playstyle. I also got Firefly accidentally and I am also having a blast with her.

Asta is good if you're going for Topaz main DPS. Although I wouldn't suggest using her as a main dps if you don't have either e1 or s1.
I use my Topaz for Super Break team sometimes.
Also I use Asta in a Super Break team.
My Asta has 110% BE and 161 spd. She can deal good dmg with Ruan and MC. Especially single target.
i got all of premium FU team ratio aventurine robin but missed Topaz!!! T___T but i got Jade instead lol
Qingque is my goat she has basically everything you could want high single target damage, high aoe damage and a follow up plus she does 5 star character damage

My favorite character is deffinetly Argenti, his playstyle might not be my favorite (I still enjoy it) but I love his character and character design, AND I love red haired characters so bonus point to that. Sadly I'm deffinetly not getting him since I'm at 20 pity currently and I have no content to go through to get some jades because I went to 75-80 pity 3 times last patch for Firefly and Ruan Mei (kinda regret firefly ngl) 😭

Aveturine with his light cone is my go to sustain for Acheron usually. He helps gain so many stacks with follow-ups. The tougher the enemy the better.
Have you tried the Topaz Lightcone? You can get 5 or 6 charges per enemy turn
I still love DHIL and still use him to this day with mine at e2s1, 80/190 crit ratio on a slow build. I couldn't have had more value with him overtime apart from Acheron.
same. he's still my most well built dps. but oh boy am i so sick of him. imagine just using him from TB45 to TB68. i accidentally got Acheron at 18 pity and she was a breath of fresh air. i'm On my way! to build follow up attack IPC teams too.
E2S1 Imbibitor Lunae is just the most fun character to play in this game. Mine is built slow with 104 speed, 96,4% crit rate, 196,4% crit damage and 2838 attack. I should use him with lower crit rate, since Sparkle S1 gives 10% for free.

I loved his design from day 1 of his leaks. Then he showed up in the Astral Express saying "this is peak" and I'm like omg that's hilariously cute.
Himeko is my favorite, like everyone else I first was into her character for nostalgia reasons, and she was who I chose for my 300 pull selector.
While I still can’t say I like Himeko in HSR solely due to her character and personality (unlike other Himekos) I can honestly say that her gameplay is really really satisfying, her voice line about combat being a series of precise machinations is so indicative of her playstyle, while I do wish her stacks can overflow, I think it does add a really nice planning part to the strategy.
Here’s to hoping that Himeko gets some more spotlight in future patches, Penacony had so many moving parts it was really hard to focus on anyone but the main 3 key players.

I do like all of these teams and use them all but follow up teams happened to align with my favorite. I started playing the game for Jing Yuan and now Aven and Robin have joined the fam of favorite followup team members. Jingliu would have to be my next. Fell absolutely in love with her design right after seeing her in the first teaser and so glad I got her
My all-time favorite character is def sampo. he was my first limited 4 star pull and his shield shredding skill helped me a lot in early game. Add in his masked fool mystery and the chance of getting a 5 star version- i was sold. though aventurine and himeko came close.
thus the dot team (with sampo, BS eluded me) was my favorite for a while, though the ipc fua team is the one i like the most rn. it's just fun looking at the chain reactions and the enemy dying without doing anything.
My favorite team was Jingliu Hypercarry, but Firefly took over as an endgame staple for me. But Jingliu will always have a special place in my heart.
I'm glad you mentioned the mono quantum team! Sparkle enthusiasts would note her underutilized passive that buffs quantum damage immensely if there are up to three quantum characters on the field. If there's a common ice weakness in the mobs, Herta can also replace one to make room for Jade in the comp.
Favorite team type is the FUA comp with Ratio, Topaz, Aventurine, Robin for MOC and the new mode and with Himeko, Herta, Robin, Aventurine for Pure Fiction.
There's just so much dopamine from seeing your favorite characters constantly attacking 😂

I have multiple favorite characters. In terms of purely character, screwllum is my favorite, followed by Argenti and Boothill. In terms of considering both character and gameplay Boothill is definitely my favorite, followed by Gallagher and argenti/serval.
I just wish Argenti was a bit better. The only thing slowing him down is my not having Huo Huo. Dmg is great just slow without her.
Mine has 60/164 before battle with BP lc s5. He gets well over 100/270 crit in battle which is awesome.
I may try to honestly switch out his attack rope for a ERR rope to see how the difference in dmg is.

Acheron team technically fulls the "Debuff" team category, as any character applies debuffs basically enhances this playstyle. Characters like ratio count as both a debuff dps as well as a fua dps
as a dhil main i wanna point out fu xuan is an amazing synergy for him i think she's his best sustain option bc matrix is tied to her plus your hp loss while it's active is minimal so you don't have to refresh every turn even if you're being slammed ofc if you're against enemies with a lot of cc then huohuo is still better but 9 times out of 10 fu xuan is more comfy on the sp economy plus our dragon boy is squishy ngl i've had mine get oneshot way too many times but ever since i picked up fu xuan it's no longer an issue and she also buffs crit rate which is huge for anyone who's struggling to get 70 crit rate on him while maintaining 170+ crit dmg or if you just want to get as close to 100 crit rate as possible ofc fu xuan also works with jingliu i seem to notice jingliu can use any character that dhil wants but sometimes dhil doesn't work with characters jingliu wants bc of his sp consumption (i have both so i'm speaking from experience)
Aventurine is my favourite character. His backstory, role in Penacony, kit, drip, everything about him is just peak

I just returned to the game after stopping for several months, so missed out on a bunch of these units! Currently my favorite team is Seele, Sparkle, Jing Yuan and Luocha. Probably not the most efficient team, but they are fun.

I don't really pull that many meta characters (husbando collector problems) but I gotta say even without Ruan mei my Boothill is super good. He's been carrying me in moc, I love the break play style
Robin, Tinyun, Gallagher/HouHou any hypercarry, this is a very good team composition that few people know about
My fav is FireFly cause that's the only team that was fully given in the recent banner when I started the game.
That break team will carry me for the long run & i don't even have all FF traces & I'm railroading all content 🤯
Thank you for bringing up Aventurine for Acheron teams. I think he's slept on for that team simply due to follow up teams existing. But what about accounts that don't use follow ups? Exactly. I have him E1S1 and he's so good on her team. Super easy to survive and still get ultimate easily.
I feel like most people only bring up is Sparkle. My problem is they act like the Acheron team isn't usable with her unless Acheron is E2. To me that's false, if you have at least 1 nihility character, the damage loss actually isn't much at all. People just hyper focus on 1 part of Acheron kit, not looking at full team synergy which honeslty is way more important than 1 static % modifier.
Ratio also synergizes with Acheron really well, as he debuffs and builds follow-up chances based on the number of debuffs an enemy has. They aid each other in their goals!

Crazy thing is I have no limited harmony and sustain unit but I still beat all endgame modes

But it's not often that I use him over my E2 Lunae for challenge content 😅 Built him anyway to use with Aventurine and Topaz, they're too fun together. Also I can't believe Jade has made Herta stocks climb even higher, she's been one of my fave characters from the start of the game and she's come so far from D tier DPS for MOC

I love Acheron, but you need to be mindful of her teamcomp, unlike break or DOT team, where your lineup never changes, Acheron shines when you have optimal teammates for the situation.
For example, in the current MoC 12, I did the side with the 3 order puppets with Acheron. I only got 2 stars when using pela and silver wolf alongside Fu Xuan with Acheron. However, I switched Silver wolf for Guinaifen (Which is not completely built BTW) because all three puppets are weak to fire. I then got a three star clear.
being new to the game and getting both firefly + ruan mei during the half part of the main stories really helped me since I couldn't really understand LC and relics at that time I just wanted to know the story lmao

Fu Xuans entrance had me MESMERIZED. It was so cool and definitely my favourite in the whole game. #badassqueen

- Kafka (Have acheron, but personal wants a DOT nihility team as well)
- Black Swan (Same as Kafka)
- Topaz (I have Ratio and Robin)
- Aventurine (Best shielder + a follow-up attacker)
- Huohuo or Loucha (Both great healers, but whether more attack+heal or more cleanse and energy regen? Not sure)
+ Might think about getting:
- Blade (Cuz I have JL)
- Sparkle (She's the only character that can increases SP, but I've never had any problem with SP, plus i have literally Harmony characters ecept her, so i think i can do find without her)
- DHIL (If I get Sparkle, I should get him as well, no?)
- Fu Xuan (I still have a bias or healer > shielder/reduce dmg)
Currently, on my second account i'm doing a 4star run, which only allows me to use 4 star characters, including the trailblazer, and i've had so much fun with it as of lately, the most fun team right now, consist of guinaifen, sampo, pela and gallagher/lynx , for simulated universe it deal a good amount of DoT, and is pretty strong
My ex-mains, Serval and Seele, go way back. Serval's gameplay was simple yet fun. She's cool as a character as well as her inspiring background. My most memorable moment playing her was when she got CC'ed by Svarog and I only got Natasha to clutch up for my first try. As for Seele, she saved me from struggling with the Ebon Deer boss. Well, the only thing I like about her is her passive. It's quite satisfying when you manage to kill a normal chunky enemy while preempting her ult. I would say that we've been through a lot. Even though she's E0 without Bronya or Sparkle I still won't complain.
Along the journey, I pulled Kafka when she first got released for obvious reasons plus she's badass. Totally sucks that I didn't have a team for her that time but still did not regret pulling her ofc.
Left for about 8 months then came back and got to learn about Acheron and BS from the past event through their trial and boy were they fun af with Kafka. So I got Acheron and she totally helped me out with farming and the recent campaign. And here I am saving for BS who I missed.
I will get the next purple titan!
Acheron is definitely my favorite currently, but Lingsha also has my absolute favorite design and im excited to see how her character is (I also love characters from hi3 *cough* Nuwa and Mei.)

I started as a Jing Yuan hypercarry, then transitioned into follow-up team with Topaz & Ratio, and now I’m all about the breakers. No resources for dot or destruction teams. So many 50/50 loss, got to stick to cheaper teams. Makes me real glad I got Ruan Mei, she has been a linchpin in my teams. Still waiting to lose 50/50 to a himeko and not another ice boy.

In regards to favorite character as far as character depth goes I would say Acheron. I would like to delve more into the backstories of the other members of the Astral Express. As far as team I actually use it would be Firefly, Ruan Mei, Harmony MC, and Gallagher. Granted it’s about the only team I have built up to my current level of play through since I’m waiting until I can make characters level 80 before I start working on another team as well as the fact I didn’t start playing until the Firefly banner so I don’t have a huge list of characters to use like some people who have playing for longer.
I think boothill is the strongest hunt character, with all things being equal
FuA is the most fun. As I was forced to skip Robin both times, I only got to enjoy it after getting Jade this time round. Her with Hertha and Robin is just mayhem
Still somewhat of a new player, I never really understood if there’s a difference between buffs to break effect and “break efficiency”, whether if it’s just different names of the same thing or if they do different things?
Break effect - dmg when breaking. Break efficiency - bonus to toughness reduction (so you can deplete toughness bar quicker and inflict break dmg). It's a simplified answer, but also easy to understand.

All I've learned about this video is that getting Ruan Mei on her rerun was the best decision I have done since playing this game (new player recently played during the Robin banner). Also I 'hope that the Break teams don't fall off heavily in later patches because Its the only team I have currently.
One of my favorites is Sparkle. Pulled and maxed her traces despite not having any characters to build a team with her :v
DoT is still my favorite of the bunch. Contemplating Swan E1 as my first eidolon, I have everyone at E0 but DoT takes the cake for most fun for me.
I'm split between the Acheron team and the FUA team. Both fun to play. Though i played every Team Comps to try with. All fun.
Favorite characters are the 2 Bronyas. Getting E4 for Bronya is still wild to me but an enjoyable one for I like playing HC teams with her.
And Silverwolf (E1) is always been a mainstay for a long time. Even more so now with in a Acheron team.
I woudhv loved if you had mentioned best teams for moc in the title. Coz if you consider pure fiction then its a different ballgame.
I did mention Herta/Himeko/Jade for pure fiction in the follow-up team section to account for them as well

I am addicted to the Blade & Jade Team. With Jade e1 and Blade with his LC, they are by far my go-to team for any content now.
Break Teams with Firefly and Harmony TB allowed me to break (no pun intended) into Endgame and help build out other characters thanks to all the incoming resources - so they get an automatic favorite.
I do want to note that while Harmony TB is best for any break teams, Both Firefly and Boothill aren't dependant on them, because they carry their own sources of Superbreak. They'll still chunk enemy's HP Bars per attack with other supports, allowing you to make two teams that can brute force content with minimal elemental synergy.
It was a great first investment for me.
Favorite team gotta be dot. kafka been carrying me through the game since 1.2, she's probably gonna be meta for a very long time paired with blackswan and potentionally other future dot characters as well

I have 3 out of those 5. I have break with Boothill and Firefly, hypercarry with DHIL and Jingliu, and Acheron.
I dont have fua or dot teams, but I plan on getting Kafka, Black Swan and Topaz on rerun, so its just a matter of time.
For most favorite Character ironically Sampo. I always like rogue/assassin coded character especially in male characters, Moze is one of the incoming character in 2.5 hoping to get him soon alongside with Lingsha. 2nd is Black Swan, she's just enigmatic and elegant.
For teams I had 2 main team that I used so frequently in MoC that is DHIL Hypercarry and RAT Mei Follow-Up team. While PF I got Argenti hypercarry and Jade/Herta. I have BS DoT team without Kafka, so I guess that is still work in progress.
my favourite character currently is sunday but before that it was dan heng il, blade, and jing yuan. i started playing the game for jing yuan and blade and i still use jing yuan to clear endgame content (blade’s been kinda benched tho bc no hp scaling supports 💔). need sunday to release soon, my favourite archetypes are angels and dragons

Should I pull for Huohuo for a better sustain or Jiaoqiu for a better improvement in my Acheron?
OR skip 2.4 and pull for E2S1 Acheron (actually E0S0)?
This probably depends on your other favorite teams and who you're running Acheron with now 🤔
Huohuo isn't the best pick for an Acheron team, you know that. But if it's for a second good team she performs well in DoT and Hypercarry!
Jiaoqiu is cheaper than E2 Acheron by far, I'd only try for E2 Acheron if you really wanted to use Sparkle in the team. Jiaoqiu would also work in a DoT team if needed.
Maybe elaborate on what you have and what you lean towards or find fun :)

The Dot team runs fine with Lynx, Ruan Mei, Kafka and BS but NEEDS more buffs to make more damage without running sustainless; Huohuo is the best pick by far
My Acheron team struggles so much with Acheron, Gallagher, Pela and Guinafen; they can not fulfill well the stacks for Acheron ultimate
I think I'm gonna pull for Jiaoqiu after all, he's a battery for her team even with his nerfs

My favorite team right now is my Sushang Super Break team.
My Sushang has 240% BE before battle. She is using Boothill LC Sailing Towards a Second Life.
In battle she can get 207 spd. Thats insane.
So my team is called Super Freak and its just Sushang, MC, Ruan, and Gallagher. If I pull for a certain upcoming character I can replace Ruan and Gallagher with a single unit and then I can add in a 2nd break DPS.
Would love to see the type of no sustain teams we can get when Yunlin comes out. Meaning I can use her as a sustain and put Xueyi next to her. If Yunlin takes blast dmg, Xueyi will be hit. Which is fine bc she can heal herself. Im excited to see if this idea can work. If not Xueyi then maybe Clara for hilarious double counter attacks.
It really should have been mentioned that Bronya is Boothill's BIS. Giving him twice as many turns is actually insane given how much damage he dishes out. The 3rd slot is RM or HMC but if they are tied up in another comp (FF for instance) Boothill has a lot of great other options like Pela, Silver Wolf, etc. The fact that he is so flexible compared to FF cannot go unstated
I mentioned Bronya as an option because of her allowing you to speed things up, but you can do either one in my opinion. (I have tested both and they both feel good to play). I’ll try to mention best in slots more specifically next time regarding certain comps though
Honestly, I'm really digging Jade right now. E0S1 for me, so she's not seeing use outside of Pure Fiction and the second-to-last stage of the Stellar Shadow event, but the constant follow-ups are a ton of fun. They're even more frequent than the usual Himeko-Herta combo, to the point that I feel like I'm sometimes fighting to spend an Ult and not waste the energy generation.
Firefly is getting a little oversaturated at the moment, with Divergent Universe as well as the current MoC and Apocalyptic Shadow all being tailor-made for her.
And of course Acheron and DoT are eternally reliable, both separately and in conjunction.
A part of me wishes I had picked up Boothill just so that I would have another reason to use Bronya. I mean, I also think he's cool, strong, and fun to use, but I'd really like an excuse to use Bronya more often. Jingliu isn't seeing a lot of use on my account recently.
I loveeee using acheron so i will go for jiaoqiu just for her. E2 acheron is probably something i don't wanna do since id rather get other supoorts in the future for her. So ill be one of the people who pulls jiaoqiu! Wish me luck

I have 2 accounts one low spend and one ftp to collect characters i missed on my low spend, just so happens my low spend account seemed to missed some of the best resulting in my ftp account 3* moc 12 while my low spend is 2 cycles off. my ftp consists of Acheron kafka, Black Swan Aventurine, Firefly, HMC, Ruan Mei Gallager for most content, Argenti, SW, Pela, Himeko, Herta for PF ect. while my low spend can clear most content is better on PF because i have more choice, choosing Boothill over Firefly on my LS was a mistake it seems for this MOC.
My favourite character are Black Swan and Kafka thats also why I only play dot with both of them.
I feel Jingliu and Daniel teams have been struggling as of late. Enemies lately seem to be tankier and toughness bars have gone up.
Ofcourse you can still manage without much hassle

Superfly is my favorite team next to Acheron (isn't she just Hypercarry tho?). If it's not SU/DU I sometimes replace Gallagher with Asta for the extra ATK to BE conversion and huge SPD buff. Combined with Ruan Mei's weakness break extension and HMC's turn delay passive, at that point it's always Firefly's turn.
My Acheron team & Firefly break team are good enough to clear all the content with 3 stars Moc, PF & Apocalyptic Shadow so I'm satisfied enough with it, highly recomended it for newbie who had a hard time clearing contents.. Now I just need to get Lingsha or JQ to strengthen the team further for future content.. Maybe can also focus on e1/2 on each of the unit later 😂 Unless there will be future content where Im having a hard time clearing it therefore I would build another powercreep DPS..

dot teams have an insanely high requirment before they become viable, you need a 161 speed kafka with her lc and a really good black swan, anything below that makes it feel really weak
i really dont recommend getting into dot teams unless you are willing to go for e0s1 atleast on both kafka and black swan , with both of their e1s being so huge it makes them kinda needed

My go-to team is Acheron, Kafka, Black Swan, and Aventurine. You don't die because of Aventurine, and because of the LC you get a stack of slashed dream when he gets attacked. I use it on everything.
Really though it's all because Acheron is busted. She's busted in MoC, PF, and even outside of fights because of her technique! She's my favorite unit in the game.
For those who do not have Sparkle for DanHeng IL, Hanya is a great option too

As for storywise, it has to Aventurine, he had the best backstory, plot twist, and just his personality in general

Im using the firefly team and looking for my 2nd team to build thanks to this guide now i got on what team im gonna go might go for Acheron or Fua team.
As much as I love the other characters such as Acheron etc. I think for me Kafka BS dot and Mono quantumn will be my most comfy team for clearing the MoC.
My favorite characters are black swan and acheron. I’m a very casual player; the only decent team i have is acheron/pela/gallagher plus a fourth “flex” spot (usually dr ratio.) I need another nihility…
