Today, I go over the top options for all players to consider, some being Tingyun, Ruan Mei, Acheron, Aventurine, and so on. There has been a lot of debate regarding how good our previous characters are in the current meta, and if they are still worth it. Over time, some characters have gotten stronger due to new team synergies, some being Acheron, Sparkle, Ruan Mei, Fu Xuan, and so on. This plays a huge part regarding a character's place in the meta.

I think other than Acheron, the Black swan Kafka duo is probably the strongest team in the game it’s basically just “the enemy is already dead before it’s even their turn” and I love it lol😭

@@anapple6912 nah dont plan on investing in FUA team (I know he is still good in other teams) and I have the mono quantum core although its not as powerful of a team nowadays (Silverwolf,sparkle,e6 qq).
I know I wont have enough for both so I am sticking with saving for fu xuan
Before the release of Adventurine, Fu Xuan is one of the characters I didn't regret pulling. She makes most content trivial.✌️😁

Il pull jingliu and wait for her.
Even once he comes out you won't regret. He is BIS on follow up attack teams and in Sim Uni but Fu Xuan's crit makes team building easier which is under-rated outside of DoT (where Huo Huo is queen) and he sustain will still be top tier outside of the few odd occasions where a shield is better than her mechanics (Monkey boss or big enough nukes to kill her with redirected damage)

Ruan Mei was the unit for me who quite literally changed everything. It's thanks to her that DoT now has a support because of how universal her buffs are and now I'm a DoT enjoyer with my Kafka + Black Swan + Ruan Mei team. Other than DoT, she's just the BEST support ever, I was very lucky to get her at early pity. I love Ruan Mei so much.

Ruan Mei definitely deserved that spot. She's as future proof as Acheron because we don't even have her best possible teammates yet. Any future dps releases focusing on break are going to be absolutely absurd when paired with her.
Boothill is going to be insane from the leaks I have saw, really surprised they made him that strong, especially with ruan mei, but if we ever get an aoe break character going to be even more insane.
im also excited for a 5 star version of pela. Imagine a nihility unit who is pseudo-harmony

I really feel like Acheron is one of the best to pull for dps, Ruan Mei for support and Huo Huo for sustain. All of them have their unbeatable uses and can last for years to come.
Should I pull for huo huo if I have bailu or save for someone else? (Aventurine, jingliu, Mei, etc)
@@crusty_twig It very much depends on characters and account but go for Huo Huo and/or Aventurine with at least 1 premium healer and sheilder be built, otherwise go for Jingliu if you don't have premium damage and Ruan Mei if you don't have her already.

Have just 130 pulls, i'm on 50/50, just start the game and have only acheron in 5*
@@mickaelb3382 get huo huo as her ultimate provides the Dot team with more value compared to aventurine. if ruan mei reruns first then get her and then get huo huo or vice versa if you are struggling hard to survive then get aventurine (we still dont know when huo huo and ruan mei are gonna rerun but i assume ruan mei is going to be on 2.2)
130 pulls is enough if you are lucky, not to mention the extra 10 pull we are gonna get on 26th of april, the 300 jades from the livestream and other events where you can get jades like the one going on right now.

Kafka is easily the character I regret pulling the least. She opens up an entirely new style that takes little effort to get into since you don’t need to rely on good Crit stats, and just get attack and speed
Dot relic is the most hardest relics to maximize.
It’s hard to get atk and speed

I know Blade is outdated but he saved my asş bro. I literally might be the luckiest casual players. When I get enough pulls for a character it was Blade/ruan mei banner and since my dps was Trailblazer at that time I know I needed to chose blade (plus everthing about him is so cool dude) but I if I didnt had Bailu I would still be cooked(I wanted welt when I first started but ınstead of what I want I got what I need, and I am thankfull lol), now my the team I am using most is Blade, Dr Ratio, Sparkle and Loucha
I wouldn't say Blade is outdated, just that he hasn't gotten a buffer that works for his niche. He is currently the only character that has split scaling with HP. If we get a buffer for him he'll be in a better position. People thought Jing Yuan would remain mid but it seems like he keeps getting shadow buffed (Sparkle, Topaz, Follow up dps set) Not to mention Blade makes for a solid sub dps due to his sp neutrality. He's my favorite character, pulled him and his light cone on his release and then his e1 on rerun.
Aventurine gonna be up there once he releases, mhm.
this list was pretty expected on alot of these. DHIL not in this list is interesting but since the other two 5 star dpses don't care as much about who are they with(Acheron doesn't care about any specific Nihility units, and Jingliu can be slot in whatever harmony or whatever unit you have even though DHIL can dish out higher damage at high investment.). i guess it makes sense
Dhil can’t keep up with the powerhouses of Jing liu and Acheron. He is still decent and should pull for him if you like him but at e0 he simply is not anywhere near top 10 pull recommendation

I see, the dot comp is queen. I'll definitely save for the Kafka + Black Swan duo with Huo Huo and hopefully any other units to compliment them in the future.
My list would be e2 rm e2 sparkle and e2 s1 Acheron instead of 10 different characters and save the rest if I still have left over to go hard for a future dps.
Ruan mei supremacy!!! I’ve never regret one bit of pulling her and she’s my first 5 star that i started the game with. Shes amazing.
Acheron and ruan mei are pretty interchangeable to me. If you have both you probably have both sides of moc taken care of.
Having 7 out of the top 10 units (I don't have Jingliu, Huohuo, Qingque I do have but she's not built and I'm not using her so I'm not counting her) makes me pretty happy because this means my account might be safe from future challenges or at least be able to clear future content without struggling extremely hard xD
My list (Not in order):
Acheron,jingliu,dhil,fu xuan,huo huo,Ruan mei(top imo), sparkle, tingyun,Kafka
Honourable mentions: bronya,Dr ratio, argenti,pela/sw,topaz,black swan
Rest are extremely niche(like break Luka) or have better upgrades in their field (still mentioned bronya in hm since she's better for a top dps like jingliu or blade)

Luocha should be considered in the honorabl mentions imo. His healing is unparalleled and synergizes greatly with Blade or characters that consumes their own HP dmg. Although his healing is superb, the lack of buffs he provides deserves him an honorable mention
I have jing Yuan as a damage dealer and gepard as a sustain. What will be more smart move - Pull Jingliu or FuXuan?
if i have bailu and gepard should i pull on aventurine ?. i'm f2p so jades is very hard to come by. i lost 50/50 so i'll get whoever i get next
I have all the characters that are listed but mostly only the 5 stars built. (besides pela) I will be rolling for robin next since I have a good 2 to 3 dps teams for different content.

He can be in a person’s top 10, but I’m not going to make a bunch of notable mentions since that would make the list incredibly long, so I had to limit it.
I said twice within the video, if a character isn’t in this video doesn’t mean they’re bad. He is a good DPS, nobody is saying he’s not.

I tried to include supports, dps, and sustain. It’s not all DPS characters otherwise this would be a DPS top 10. If you think he’s better than Jingliu then that is fine, on your own list they would be swapped out, nothing is wrong with that. Nowhere did I call him bad, nor does him not being on the list mean all these characters are above him. That’s very account case-by-case, such as how you mentioned if you have sparkle.

Should I use Streamer girl or Kafka with my Acheron? I have the both built cuz I used to use em in a dot team, but Acheron is cooler and better, so I ditched the dot

If u want to make new team besides Acheron,
Go for jinglui (in this run), and later ryun may (any day , she is worth it) and huohuo (I would have said luocha (as blade main) but his run is over
Also if u wanted to invest in any thing other than jinglui for dps
Upcoming firefly could be choice (it is estimated that she will scale on hp)
Priority :-
Sustain = buffer (need both , can skip adventurine if dont building follow up team)
But he has good synergy with clara

11:25 what do you mean alot of players didn't pulls for her?!? Her kit is broken. The only character I was willing to lose a 50/50 for as a f2p other than upcoming SAM banner. Huohuo being partial harmony makes her so strong compared to other healers.

Easily Fu Xuan. Number 2 sustain only behind Adventurine. Trust me. You won't regret the pull. 💯

If you have luocha, lynx, gepard or huo huo then you dont need to get aventurine
If you dont then go for both aventurine and fu xuan
At the end of the day pull for the characters you like the most
Meta wise, you might have to wait a little longer to get a good answer. So just chose who you like more. Or in my case who’s hotter.

Fu xuan = crit rate boost and immortality
Ruan mei = massive dmg boost and break that goes well with my himeko and silver wolf
I kinda hated the game until I pulled Fu Xuan, she carried the hell out of me and still does to this day
Came back to game after first Jing Liu banner and dang I missed the Acheron banner

looks like its Sparkle that i didnt roll, can't be blame, i'm just a F2p pleb, i got Black Swan last time and didnt roll for Sparkle since Acheron is next, and luckily somehow got Acheron on E0S1 (and the rest of my limited characters just E0S0 lols), and Pela, demn, since she's always popping out when i roll on both standard banner and limited banner, she's the first that is E6 to me lols

as someone who does have e0s1 DHIL and a sparkle, i do have to say, he definitely belongs in the top 10 for sure, for me personally even above jingliu. i don't have her sigLC, nor do i have bronya built (yet), i just got her from the 300 selector. also, pela will be in my acheron team at all times, so i can't even make use of her ice res down and penacony set. i just never use jingliu nowadays cause her damage is just so low without her best team, sigLC and good relics
You can’t compare a dhil with a five star support to just a Jing liu with her best support either. If you did so JL would have him beat. Dhil is mid without sparkle and with her he is top 15 maybe but queen liu is probably too 5
@@Tam-lv1mp i would disagree with that. before the release of sparkle, yes, jingliu was stronger. but after sparkle came out, dhil was at the top of all tierlists, right next to jingliu. they are both very good, but arguably dhil is even a bit better than jingliu, because of sparkle.
it's close though.
what i mean is that although in earlier patches jingliu was better than dhil, now they are pretty much on the same level
(if i had to rank them, they would both share second place, just under acheron of course).
but of course that's just from what i've read and also my personal experience with both those units.
Imo it's Jing Yuan ironically and debatably. Had countless f2p light cones to choose from when I first started. Carried me early game in calx farming, simulated universe, swarm disaster, gold and gears, moc and pure fiction. Even against the big bug boss and against pre nerf aventurine boss. He's pretty universal for the amount of investment he needs. Not to mention, he gets indirectly buffed every patch.
Sometimes, I don't even know his actual path because you technically want his lightening lord to NOT attack swarms but 1-2 enemies and instead use his skill and ult to finish up swarms. He's quite the jack of all trades icing destruction, hunt and erudition path. If you want a do it all character. Hopefully there would be a support that advances summon speed in the future since there is already a blessing like that in SU.

@@Weji514 she sucks against single target. I actually built serval because people like you were recommending her. From personal experience, she’s just cope JY. Sure I can make her work in pure fiction(still worse than JY due to lower base attack) but moc is another story.
I stopped playing HSR for a short while last year and i missed out on The High Cloud Quintet and Kafka and only got back into it when Huohuo/Huehhueh was running. The period that i was gone was enough to generate enough pulls that i managed to get her to E1 which was nuts.
I'm waiting for Kafka & Blade next rerun cos they came at a time i wasn't prepared/planning for pulling.
I’m also in the same boat, except that I stopped HSR after Sliver wolf’s release and just rejoined the game on Acheron’s banner.

I feel like black swan and pela(E6) should be a bit higher ranked especially with the current team comps going on now ruan mei rank is perfect but u missed imbabitor lunae (and you still have the most relaxing voice 🌹)

Ruan Mei(support unit) and Acheron(DPS) are two characters who I dare say won't be able to power crept anytime in the near future unless they want to absolutely break the game. That's how much broken the two of them are.

Good job getting Mr. Pokke to call in from a 1990's payphone while he's on vacation! 😂 I think I can cosign this list for the most part, the only things I reacted to were Black Swan and Kafka being so far from each other (I'd prob put them at 4 and 5 or something), and honestly I might have to give #1 to Acheron, but I can definitely also see Ruan Mei at the top. Maybe I'd call it a tie.

You can replace swan with sampo and its just 20 to 30% dmg diff. But replace kafka and its not the same

@@user-ud9dw7qw3e TY low hp (+ jingliu ult outside enhanced form is just bad) and jingliu hp drain dont bode well. And jingliu needing 2 turn instead of 1 turn (cuz no advance forward from bronya) is just pain.
and for dps you already have acheron ratio for moc, so i dont see the need for more dps at this current time unless you just looking for ice dps. Ratio is crazy good unit so dont exclude him from building

I'll take RM glazing any day of the week. She's just a cheat code for the game (especially at e1). You slap her with any DPS and they become gods (except maybe arlan lol). You could've added PF units to the notable mentions list (Herta/Himeko/Argenti), but like PF is such piss easy that it honestly doesnt matter.
I was considering adding PF units too but I felt like the video would’ve been very long haha! I might eventually make a PF list

A list of characters that I think are the Best currently in their roles:
DPS: Acheron and Kafka(both with their respective teams are equally the strongest)
Healer: HweHwe(her Heals are as good as Luocha, and she can provide other buffs)
Tank/Shield: FuXuan and Adventurine(Fu takes dmg for team and heals herself, Advent gives Gepard's shield with HIS SKILL)
Support/Buffer: Ruan Mei(obvious)

If the criteria of the list is high investment. Then, I would replace Jingliu for DHIL as he is the best dps for MoC. DHIL's main problem is he needs high investment. Sparkle pushes DHIL above Jingliu and Acheron in terms of damage against 1-3 enemies.
I would also replace Kafka with Silverwolf, if you view Kafka as a pseudo-support (DoT enabler). DoT is niche, so someone could get more general value out of silverwolf than kafka.
I agree with the rest of the list. My personal order would be:
1. Ruan Mei
2. Sparkle
3. Acheron
4. Fu Xuan
5. Huo Huo
6. Dan Heng IL
7. Black Swan
8. Pela
9. Silverwolf
10. Tingyun
Watch other content creators he does not out damage acheron at all. Plus acheron still doesnt have her dedicated support unlike DHIL who has sparkle already.
@@ngm6541 You are free to believe whatever, you want. From my personal experience DHIL does more damage than Acheron if they are hitting the SAME AMOUNT of enemies.
Also, that's exactly right, DHIL has Sparkle, which is the main reason he competes with Acheron. Without Sparkle, DHIL is very limited because of skill point consumption, but this list is based on high investment, so I believe he should be on it.
Stop coping man, DHIL in current MoC12 with imaginary weakness w/sparkle and tingyun 1 cycle most at E0S1. Now heres the thing, Jingliu can 1cycle brute force it even with no ice element with just bronya and pela. Smh😂😂😂

Having Black Swan on here but not Tingyun is kinda crazy lol. Especially since Black Swan is reliant on Kafka.

Like i didn't understand why any dps enabler silverwolf is not even in the list.
Silver wolf is very much worthwhile, I did have some others give feedback on this particular list before I fully released this video. Would you swap someone out for her, or add her as a very nice notable mention?
I don't think you need to add 2 crit dps in this list acheron alone should be enough as she is literally the best dps and you can easily swap silverwolf with Jingliu as she provides more utility and after sparkle release mono quantum is one of the most comfortable team to run and she is also very good with acheron. Can also consider topaz because of her synergies with other follow of characters
Silverwolf is a really interesting character because she destroys single target and enables mono quantum. But other than that pela usually performs better. So she’s like a… 9.2 🤷♂️ or a 10 shared with pela

@@Moonnverse My fav team to run is Blade/Luocha/Sampo/Welt! I do swap around Welt or Sampo depending on what coverage I need, and recently I've been playing with a follow up team with Dr. Ratio/Luocha/Jing Yuan/whoever I can shove in that has follow up or debuffs. If I can get Aventurine I'll make it Aventurine/Dr. Ratio/Jing Yuan/maybe Luocha? maybe Sampo?
I just wish that HSR would give more variety in types/classes in male units. I missed Argenti and Luka keeps dodging me so I have no physical coverage, and there just aren't any male harmony or quantum units in the game yet...gah. But if you need mono-imaginary...I have it...ha...
