Interesting! But Sissie Yemmie I am more worried about our own products on the Continent never growing into major value chain to grow our economies and for us to be proud off, when supermarkets are open like this on the Continent.
The people are not helping, who allow this. These should be just specialty shelfed in an African distributing line super market.
That's what is done by all these major Grocery Chains abroad to our products. They put so much restrictions even with our huge presence abroad. Hence African Grocery Store have opened aboard with our products.
I am never proud of African Governments allowing the Europeans the Aians this access to the African Market.
I wanted to write more, but why push other eating acquired, ( not you) food on us Africans.
What you husband said is so true.
    Its real dead money!
We as Africans do not benefit when the value chain ends here. Reaping us all the way from our pockets to our mentality.

Exactly and here you see plp drooling over poison just because it's from the west, Africans sense of aspirations via to try their hardest to mimick the white man and its not getting any better with this generations either, what stops Nigerians from building new modern supermarkets purely for local produces, washed, packed and priced ( fresh fish, meat chicken) refrigerated etc , mental slavery is still on I taya

Literally everything this place sells is western junk food. Let’s call it exactly what it is. Their packaging is beautiful and attractive to tempt you to buy the junk.
I hope they keep the price high so smart ppl don’t spend their hard earned money on this sugary junk food.
Also, please chk expiration dates. Something also tells me that this is where they ship expired processed packaged foods comes to.

There was a lot of shipping cargos that got stuck in the sea few weeks ago is one reason and the Covid-19 has made a lot of companies to start selling off their supplies.

One needs to be very careful in stores like this so as not to buy expired products since food production and sales are not properly regulated in Nigeria. Expired dates and other information have been ripped off that scallops packaging. Things like this would not even be on the shelf for sale in western country e.g UK, especially seafood product where you can easily get food poisoning.
