Trump badly damaged our relationship with the free world and kissed up to dictators. He badly handled Covid 19, leading to hundreds of thousands of unnecessary American deaths and to the massive inflation we suffered. He fired competent people and replaced them with fools. He widened the division that is splitting apart our country. He loaded up our Supreme Court with ideologs who throw out decades of wise decisions and replace them with decisions designed to turn America into a dictatorship.

Policies should be how we should vote. Most of us that still have a job, don't like personally our bosses. But if they doing their job why would it matter? You've had Biden for 3.5 years and look at where we are at.
Frank Luntz is very sharp and he's probably correct about this election. Like myself, Reagan Republicans could not vote for Donald Trump in 2020 and it's a very painful decision this year as well. But illegal immigration is a nightmare that needs to end and democrats have never offered a solution to create a strong economy with low inflation. Those are the issues of importance: Not abortion, gay rights, climate change or anything else the democrats want to talk about.
For me, the war in Europe is also a huge issue (as is all matters of national security) and that's the prevailing thought for the majority of Republicans nationwide.
Accordingly, I have faith in the GOP congressional leaders who understand and agree with this. I've been told that there WOULD NOT BE a defense budget passed through the Senate under a new Trump administration, without including aid to Ukraine. Albeit with lower levels of support and much more oversight.
This is a weighty, difficult decision: No one I know wants to continue with the disaster Biden has been for America. But Reaganites understand that security in Europe is extremely important and to suggest otherwise is pure folly.

Americans shouldn't worry about four years with Biden. All that matters is November. They key is to win that and keep Trump out. I'm sure Biden would be amenable to stepping down next year if he could achieve that.
How many of all the various heads of government in western 'democracies' have democratic (more than 50%) support among the electorate. For the UK, it is 34%.
Actually 33.7% for the UK. And it had to be one of the most undemocratic elections I can remember. 2/3 of the population didn’t vote for them, and of total registered voters only 20% voted for them.
To some extent we have unrealistic expectations as to what a leader in a democracy can do. They can't just snap their fingers and make it so. We have no superheros available to run our countries, they exist only in comic books and movies.
@thomashowe1509 Do I detect a Reform voter? The Government was elected by FPTP system which has served it well in the past. There was a referendum in 2011 on this system and the public voted in favour of it. (No doubt Mr Farage will continue to whine about it though)

The UK election was not undemocratic - the turnout was low around 60% (voting is not compulsory in UK even amongst 'registered' voters) of that turnout Labour won around 34% of the vote share and 411 seats out of 650.

'Packed rallies wherever he goes' - this isn't true. Sometimes they're well attended, sure. Sometimes they're not. Sometimes they're in small venues and/or they're sparsely attended. Without fail, though, Trump will pretend every rally is packed to capacity and beyond. He demonstrably lies about the attendances.
What is this obsession with rallies? Same with donors. That's not what politics is about! This is not a reality show!
BTW: Polls are based on "models". And these models are pretty much biased. For example, they were warped in 2016, so they couldn't detect a Trump win. Then there is this insane electoral system from the Stone Age (FPTP on speed). The use of mathematics of this models is pretty much flawed! You can prove that fact mathematically (how ironic!)... These models are predetermined to fail! There's one "poll" that counts, and it's the election! All else is snake oil trade.

Trump reminds me of my father RIP, which in the later years of his life he failed at certain things like he thought he was gods gift to politics, he stole from me forging checks numerous times, never got the money, very vengeful as well , if he didn't like someone he didn't like them and we won't get in to that, he slagged of my choice in girlfriends till I went out with a Nurse, took her around to the house for a first time introducing and that's all he could say was his ailments to her even though she was a gynaecology nurse lol even sent my Mother a fake Telegram saying come qiuck you Mother is ill and when she left that night he smuggled the local Barmaid into his bed and so many other things that happened to me from being his Son, I don't hate my father after all he still his my father wherever he is. But what really upsets me me is my younger siblings think the sun shines out of his bottom. And even they don't know how similar Trump and my Dad was,
So this is my dislike for Trump comment soory it's a bit long but Dad and Trumpy could have been brothers.
Biden reminds me of my cousin who stole from an orphanage, kicked dogs on the street, set fire to his grandmother and wrote excruciatingly long, run-on sentences. Of course, I don't have any evidence that Biden did any of these things, but my mental illness leads me to think he is like my cousin.

You don't choose the best tax advisor based on their personality. Why would you do so for a president? Trump means peace, prosperity, law and order, restoration of broken institutions including e-letter agencies, stability, borders, and continuation of the American success story. If you don't vote for Trump then you probably shouldn't even be living in the US.
