816 is massive with the over 400 extras shots! The cinema cheered over the massive gun backfiring scene. This is still my favorite season finale of all time. It's so beautiful and massive.

I knew from the start what Eugene was up to, I knew exactly what was going to happen. Usually I hate when they make them go overboard when faking it, sometimes for no damn reason, like Dom in fate of the furious. But now that I think of it, here it works out perfectly, because Negan is very smart, so Eugene had to be serious about it, and it worked.

Does anyone know what is up with the sound effects during this particular season? I remember that almost every gun sounded the same, as if the gunshot was muffled or something
I don't like how Rick flagged his team. That made me wince a little bit.
With tampered ammo like that the bullet would have still left the barrel at high velocity.
That dude negan tried to execute and a couple of ricks people would still have been dead/injured
No they wouldn't. A seriously hot round would cause the destruction of the weapon long before the bullet had chance to exit. The biggest threat comes from an exploding gun/shrapnel, not the bullet itself. Check out the hot round fails on Kentucky Ballistics to see what happens
