- This video is about our return to the beautiful town of Rovinj in Croatia
We last visited in 2018 and stayed at the Monte Mulini Hotel .
This time we opted for the Grand Park Hotel , a sister hotel to the Monte Mulini.
Rovinj is a beautiful part of Croatia with many bars ,cafes, and restaurants that surround the harbour . Also it is great to walk the cobbled streets that come alive in the evening.
Mid June is great time to visit as the town comes alive to the sun sea salsa festival .
Dominating the town is the Church of Saint Euphemia , where you can climb the 189 steps to the top of the bell tower for some fantastic views .
We booked this holiday through Sovereign Holidays .

Rovinj is the most beautiful town in Croatia imo…been three times and just back from the Monte Mulini. Grand Park looks awesome though…
Hi Mike , thank you very much for watching and commenting. Yes Rovinj really is a fantastic town . We used to stay at the Monte mulini and used to walk passed the Grand park and said we will have to try it once it was completed.
I have to say that I didnt expect Croatia to be pretty Mediterranean. I am quite surprised. LIKE 34. 👍👍👍

Wow ❤ i never realised how pretty Croatia was . I watched a programme on tv about that hotel where they travel to posh hotels 😮. I wondered what the water noise was when you first got in the room lol 😆 until you showed us your little pool. Did you find out what the pole was in your room ? Lol . Take care noth of you ❤️ xxxA&J
Hi Amanda , we used to watch the hotel being built when we would walk into Rovinj when staying in the Monti Mulini hotel . It really is lovely in that part of Croatia. As for the pole in the room it turned out to be a light not for Pearl to enjoy some pole dancing 😂🤣.Thanks Amanda , you’re a proper trooper for watching all those videos.XX❤️❤️

me again, decided to delve back into your previous vids. This location looks beautiful, will put it on my list. Now then, the drink at the airport, was that carrying on from the previous night or the first of the day? Either way you are my heros for managing a tipple at that time of the day!
😂😂 Hi Glenda, Rovinj is a place we have visited on a few occasions, we love it there . We were lucky to have a lounge at the airport included in the booking. So we thought let’s make the most of it . Yes it was the first of the day 😂 and definitely not the last .xx

HI Karen , it really is a lovely part of Croatia, we love going back there . in the next video it is the start of the Sea,sun,salsa festival that they have every June .Great to sit at a bar and watch the locals perform .Thanks as always for watching and dropping a comment.

Any advices where to book this hotel for good prices?
Hi , we booked through Sovereign holidays they deal with luxury hotels , not exactly cheap though. Or you could book directly with the hotel group which is the Maistra group. Sometimes they offer discounts. Thanks for watching.

Thankyou for this video. I am very interested in this Hotel and Rovinj. The Hotel you have stayed in many times - Adult only now - what is it called and does it have the view of the old town and church? Is it hidden because of the Island? And May I ask what were there lots of in the shallow water? just fish???
Hi Andeana thank you very much for watching. That other hotel is called the Monte Mulini . It is a bit further away from the town not much only about another ten minutes walk . No you can’t see the church from there as far as I can remember. There was a lot of jellyfish in the harbour.
I can see that black boat being towed by the Mustang...🤣
😂 How cool would that look , better cancel the holidays and start saving, or cut Pearls wine intake .🤣
