keep in mind the damage of the yeti sword is better the more centered the shot is to your enemies, so a terrain chunk landing directly ontop of something will do much more damage than a terrain chunk exploding near an enemy, meaning you either have to get as close to your target as possible, or have freezing methods *ice spray, fire freeze staff, etc* to keep the target in place while perfecting your shots, although most people would go for the first option, meaning that a yeti sword mage can be really difficult to use in terms of mage ehp, meaning its best to swap out your storm cp for a goldor cp and/or have a variety of healing options to guarantee youre not a burden on your team, as most people who use yeti sword are pretty low cata (20-32 id say, but i have seen higher cata)

yeti is bad at clearing beacause you can't use it properly , you have to use it like a hype but you tp with aotv ( tp on mobs then rc )

Well i have a hyp and have owned 100m midas staff spirit septure yeti sword and budget glacial syth and i can say 100m midas staff clapps yeti sword and there both not even close to hyp cuz of the cd, ig if u have 2k mana yeti is better cuz skill issue but hyp is by far better but for price most worthit is a 100m staff if u get one for like 210m or smt.

Ur not gonna be able to do f7 with it unless ur like really high cata like 40+ or ur running like soy of ehp plus ever healing item in the game because when u use the yeti sword there’s a delay between the chunk hitting the enemy if ur up close you get hit a lot and u die a lot

you should try yeti sword vs 100m midas staff
midas staff blocks arrows in dungeons so people don't use it there

I hate yeti sword users because it blocks arrows like midas staff but it does way less damage so you basically take away all the damage of you teammates while also not doing any damage of your own

Bro is dumb af I used it and it doesn’t block arrows, also mage cooldown reduct makes it do same dps as hyp (on f6 I got 15-20 kill combos)

Bro isn’t using the yeti sword right , u need to go in f5 and look pretty much straight down and run around
I absolutely hate this weapon, in fact I sold it after I bought it and played a couple of f5. It does a lot of dmg but it takes forever to land the hit. Idk maybe it’s good for mages without a problem of surviving? But from my experience, mage Is Extreamly extreamly squishy and yeti sword doesn’t heal or deal range dmg fast enough so I’m just gonna die to minibosses. Unless ur rly looking for loads of dmg output or spirit sceptre will just be way better. Also yeti sword clears way slower than most mage weapons, cuz it doesn’t teleport u like a Hyperion and it doesn’t spray like spirit sceptre. Also it’s rlly expensive compare to spirit sceptre.

@@exist3972 idk if it’s my ping but it takes forever to land the hit even if I’m aiming at the floor, also the sword right click slows u doing which makes u slower st clearing.

Im cata 45 and use midas staff as mage cause i can 1 - 2 shot all the minis in f7. but i have half t7 enchants on there cause yes. personaly never tried it so i cant really say anything. but i can 1000% vouce for midas staff

Its just that you should always use the ability of the sword while looking down, and with high speed so that you get results that are comparable to hype clearing.
Also, because of the high lcm potential of this sword, you can do bosses and minibosses while using both the ability and the mage beam (if you look at their feet, you can get double damage)
And finally, legendary baby yeti is a must have, because it buffs the sword by so much with a relatively low cost.
I know my comment is kinda mean, and i apologies for it... Its just that the yeti sword is one of my favourite weapons, and that i enjoyed using it a ton.
Its just that it has a really bad reputation un the community when its actually really good, and that if youtubers could try to reveal how good the sword is that would be cool bc it rlly is a starter weapon for f7 mages (its just that nobody accepts you bc they think the sword is trash when its actually decent, or at least, its defenintly not worse than a Juju)
@@samson4134 u just lose out on the healing dmg tp and the blocks take forever to hit instead of the instant of hype not to mention hype can be spammed way more if u use yeti U lose out on gdrag or black cat if ur doing f7 which is overall just a lot worse than hype if u don’t have hype don’t do f7 or dungeons in general hoenetly
@@bananyawn i never said yeti sword was better that hype, of course hype is 10 times better its a fricking hype. I just think mage often associated with "using a hype" and so a lot of ppl become arch/bers which i think is sad, because a lot of mage weapons like the yeti sword are super strong and underrated and ppl dont use it just bc you dont get accepted into partys which is dumb at my opinion. Ofc if you want to get into good f7/kuudra teams as a mage you need hype, but you can defenintly get into it with other weaps

Please don’t actually use the yeti sword for dungeons if u don’t have a hype just don’t bother with dungeons as a whole ur wasting ur time and everyone else’s by not just getting the hype first you’ll have to get it eventually anyways no reason u should waste ur time doing shit less efficiently then get it it’s not even comparable hype is just better overall price doesn’t fucking matter if u can’t afford the gear don’t do it
