In this video I show how I build a universal fan burner with tank.
I use a TIG welding machine and the Lidl Parkside PPS 40 B2 plasma cutter.
The fact I saw a real project TIG welded on CZcams made me subscribe. As a TIG welder I thoroughly enjoyed it

Может показано и круто, но в наших реалиях мало у кого есть ленточная пила за 2к. $ и плазменый резак за 1к $, а такая конструкция актуальна больше для гаражных самоделов. Да и сам конструктив очень не продуманный, долго такая горелка не проживет(прогорит), почистить внутри невозможно, кпд низкий.
@@chini_latai дело не в крутости. Лично для меня касательно принцыпа и возможностей это видео было одним из самых информативных. А из какого материала и каким оборудованием мне не важно было.
Hey Turbo.......... I actually built one as an insert for my wood stove and so far it works ok........ would really like to know what size air holes you drilled in that....... I think im getting to much air and am going to redo the middle part........... any info would be greatly appreciated..........

I think that all the holes for the air had to be drilled at an angle, which would end up with swirling air in the bowl and a more stable flame. But that's just a guess

this is a wonderful fabrication. To This Note i don't know if i could be directed to the way on how to obtain the Instruments/equipment used in this project especially the welding and cutting machine and the likes. Perhaps, that will make my way.

@@_rus-xr1bj угоришь. Пламя желтое -- угару и всякой дряни из неё выходит очень много. Воздух должен быть в избытке и, желательно, с улицы, чтобы внутри кислород не расходовать, а топливо должно сначала проходить через спираль, находящуюся в пламени -- как в паяльной лампе. Пламя должно быть голубым. Тогда и расход топлива в разы меньше будет.
@@Ma_X64,ну незнаю,я такую горелку сделал,для пячи с водяным контуром. горелка получилась хорошая .С печью еще не проверял.Пока некогда .Соберу выложу ролик.

С учётом того, сколько аргона переведено, эта горелка на выходе "золотая". видео из рубрики "как своими руками в гараже из отходов сделать простейшую дешевую вещь с применением дорогого оборудования.
ладно бы хоть пользоваться им умел... судя по видео- регулярно в оконцовке шва топит вольфрамовый электрод в ванне сварочной, потом залипший отрывет... В итоге- шов TIG выглядит как не самый лучший ММА с рутиловыми электродами...

@@user-kc7fz8iw2y загуглить не судьба? ))) обмазка на основе рутила- это минерал такой, оксид титана... Обычно применяются для прихваток и сварки заборов...
Дану,я на заводе работал,по 8 часов в день,варил чернягу у меня балон аргона в неделю выходил! Так что ерунда))
@@user-gf9iy3nb8r это не значит, что все имеют доступ к халявному аргону. А если пользоваться услугами аргонщика, то в Новосибе, к примеру, сантиметр шва раньше стоил 120-150 руб, потому и "золотая".
What about motor oil? Can burn? Danger fumes?
From the color of the flame you can say that there is not enough oxygen. The right way to do it is the same way blowtorch uses -- fuel should be preheated hardly and the air must be in amount that enough to get clean blue flame without yellow.
I'm confused littlebit because the Parkside PPS 40B2 not a cutter only?

Looks like simple machine with switch only. I have one like this -- chinese ANDELI TIG250PL. I've been using it for a couple of years now, and just today I took it apart for the first time to clean a dust. I must say that it is assembled very well.

How efficient is this?
If you can do GTAW, your time is probably worth more than whatever fuel you're saving. Something like SMAW or FCAW would fit this context better.

Very Nice. But, that little pipe dropping the oil into the burners will Get clogged quite soon as it passes thru the heat. It just burns things UP inside the tubing . Been playing with the burners 10+ yrs.. Hope fully for some reason your desing is better and wont burn UP...
Just an idea but if you insulated the exposed end (section heated by the flame) from the heat within a ceramic or porcelain tube it might solve your problem.
Here's a better solution, have the oil enter the burn chamber from the bottom or directly into the oil that is already in the cup. That way the pipe or nozzle is never in direct contact with the flame
How much heat does it generates?
Generally, expect 100 k btu per gallon of oil times the efficiency of your stove, maybe at 70%.

Nice job on the project, but that music came in screaming loud.
So it needs a lot of tools and equipments to build that...
No . . . Maybe he HAS a lot of tools and uses them (which is what tools are FOR), but he literally could have built it with a had drill, angle grinder and mig or oxy/acetylene.
And a lot of the welding could be eliminated with bending. But he’s a good welder and apparently likes doing it, so why not?

whew I bet that was alot of Tig time I bet you wish had MIG unless you needed the practice.
Unless you just want to watch someone welding and cutting, skip to 6:03 (yes about 1 second's worth), then to 8:00 for the worthwhile 'info'.
A great video on how to conceive, design, layout, and video produce the fabrication of a poor design!
Easily improved by using a 3 foot long section of 6-8" round, over top and welded, like a chimney, becoming part of the fire box. Neck it down to 4-5" for a foot or two then, continue from there to the insulated chimney. Mounted to a secure base on stone/concrete.
Then surround the whole works with a 24" round, 6' tall sheet metal casing/housing/shield.
Use an Ardrino to control the fuel rate with a solenoid valve, fan speed with PWM module, and ignition with some automotive glow plugs and relays...Monitored/maintained by room air temp and firebox temp sensors.
Could be easily backed up by a CO detector/alarm, or set to work with a fire suppression system.

I'll maintain that similar welding equipment, plasma cutter, band saw and what have you, still cost an arm and a leg. Why it's for enthusiasts only and not the general household.
If you saw what I make at home you would think I owned a factory, but I don't, it is all down to using what you have and a bit of ingenuity.
