- The Medal of Honor is rare. Fewer than 1000 were awarded in the last century, but 2 of those medals went to Everett boys, Ellis Weicht and Robert Hartsock. This video features the stories of these young men.
So proud of these two heroes from my hometown! True patriots!
Very proud to have known Ellis Weicht’s brother , Edgar Weicht , a wonderful friend and neighbor. Also Sam Weicht , Ellis’s Grandson . Beautiful video Sam !
Excellent video! Thank you to all our military, prior, present and deceased.
Oh Lord Jesus... thank you for these two lovely children of your blessed sacrifice... to fight and die for their brothers, who needed your blessed Salvation. God bless you two boys!!! Amen!

Amen and prayers for these two men and their families with thanks
Thank you to all Veterans for your service and sacrifice.
Awesome video! I am so glad Bedford finally has a memorial for those who fought in WWII. Ellis was my grandfather's cousin.
I can't quite remember how, but I too am related to Ellis. My father was born in Bedford. I never knew they put up a memorial for them.
@@thewayk8909 The memorial they put in Bedford has 2 statues. The taller statue is Ellis.
Rest well my hero’s. 🙏❤️
"When you are a kid you do not think about asking" = How true...
True American heroes!
Respect
Let young people know and impress upon them to ask an old man their story... Be it your dad, grandfather or whomever....
I like the hat. I wish men wore stylish hats like the 40/50s again.
My pap Edgar told me that all those boys could throw an asprin in the air and hit it with a 22 rifle. Ellis, Edgar,Charles Oscar,,Benard and Samuel all my heroes
