    I planted a roasting ear patch in my garden of Truckers Favorite fiel corn in my garden. I hand spreaded from emergence till tassel of triple 13 each time i went and hoed it out, Had a neighbor who commented about how tall my corn grew it had when mature 15 to 16 inch ears and produced very well...for a garden stalks were 7 to 8 foot tall and most ears were at the 5 foot height this corn was all hand worked from planting till harvest
    I probably applied way more fertilizer tha economically feasible if id commercially planted for a grain crop...
