Erik ten Hag is not a bad coach. The trophies he has won at the different clubs he has managed is evidence of that. But one thing that might be in question, however, is his man management. In the different clubs he has coached, ten Hag always seems to fall out with a couple players. It may have gone under the radar at his former clubs, but it is now coming out in the open under the bright lights of the Premier League, and a big club like Manchester United no less.

Also Called Zidane Iqbal a Man Utd youngster "f**king rubbish" in a training session. Iqbal then Left Man Utd and was rated highly by Man Utd fans and signed a new contract in 2022 then left in 2023 not a coincidence he probably left because of Ten Hag. This man has issues with how he handles his relationships with players, if you're going to call out a player do it in a productive way, they play and work for you yes but to call a 19 year old "f**king rubbish " in front of all his teammates, coaches and players he looks up to is way too far, how does that help him play better, it'd probably make him play worse. I am not saying ETH is perfect. But he gave Sancho 3 months off and told people to not pressure him and given him game time(which he never treated like a chance to win back his place) but y'all act like he has hated him from day one. On Ronaldo's part, sure he could have given him more game time but we were doing better without Ronny and the team is more important then even Ronaldo plus his attitude didn't help matters. He is at the tail end of his career and demanding to treated like he is still in his prime. I love Ronny but he acted poorly too. Them where both at fault, ETH for not find a better compromise and CR7 for acting disrespectfully.
David's case i didn't like much because he is one of my favorite GKs ever. but then again after we didn't get KMJ he choice to go for Onana and even the contract negotiations from the club side was unacceptable, so this on i can agree with, but i understand it.
Noa Lang just thought too highly of himselves and didn't want to work for the team which isn't a goood thing in the system that ETH was using at Ajax, it is also the reason Sancho doesn;t play as much as antony.
Zidane's one was because he wasn't doing good in a passing drill. If being called out like that would break him, then sorry but he shouldn't be playing for United. If Pep said that to any of his players, i doubt they would cry about it but instead understand that winners have high standards and loser have excuses.
Ronny had and issues because he wanted to play and win, not being ETH was being mean.
But Overall even if he has made mistakes, i still think that a lot of anger aimed at him is because people want to be nice. If players aren't going want the manager wants and aren't good enough then get punished. Not everything can be fixed with a hug.
We need to raise our standards at this club, If players don't pull their weight they either work-harder or then get out(Yes even the youngsters, we are United not a charity). Ronaldo was bragging true team down, we are United footballing goat doesn’t mean anything here. It more about the team than an individual plus I like Ronaldo but I agreed with the decision because we were playing better without him. Not to mention some of CR7’s poor behavior. But on Sancho, ETH has given him chances and for the most part he has underperformed and I really wanted sancho here. He doesn’t track back, defend and he slows down play too much. He doesn’t fit the system and is not working hard to try and do so. The manager questions his effort in training because he wasn’t meeting the managers standards and he then shows that he has low standards for himself by defending this effort which was viewed as not good enough.
You mentioned Bruno who ETH loves and made captain. ETH has dropped players who haven’t been pulling their weight which is why he has dropped. Honestly even if we get a new manager a lot of these players will still act the same and them leaving is better for us in the long run.

@@angeldenots2208 burn out towards the end of last season. Losing Casemiro and Erickson mid season was also a disaster. I disagree that he doesn’t have a strategy. He clearly does have a strategy, it’s just taking time to get the players used to the system (or changed). The fluidity isn’t there yet, the mid needs a bit more strengthening and the attack needs to be developed.

I'm not impressed with the way the club dealt with the David De Gea situation. As for maguire and co,we were top heavy with less than average players. There was no discipline within the squad. Players were taking liberties and average dead wood players were offered bigger contracts. One thing that does bother me is the fact that the Glazers are still bleeding the club dry,absolute parasites. I think that with new owners things would settle down.

But wether or not you agree with ETH calling Sancho out, I am sure we can agree that defending performances that the manager has said are below what he expects is not good. A players standards shouldn’t be lower then the managers also he didn’t say he was horrible just that he didn’t perform to the expectations of his manager.
People keep blowing up ETH’s man management but the vast majority of his players love and respect him. Player mentality matters too, when Jadon came on he never looks like someone fighting to play. Ronaldo did but he wasn’t linking well with the other players. Sure I think we need to better option on the right because Antony isn’t playing as well as he could be he is fighting like he wants to play. Facundo would be my current first choice.

Ten Hag is a dutch coach. The dutch are known for their directness. The board knew that bringing him in. And to me it appeared that this was just what United needed. What an absolutely garbage take. Every manager has their own style rather than us armchair analysts commenting. Ronaldo wanted to leave in the summer. Rashford and AWB were scolded by ETH last season, only for them to come back better than ever. Garnacho has also been scolded but he's kept his head down and is working. Also if you're going to judge ETH with past fallouts then surely you can't omit the fact Sancho has had disciplinary issues at both City, Dortmund and even the England squad. Half of these criticisms are here simply because United are losing and tbh that's a fair point. That's all that matters. But let's not forget Ronaldo's father figure SAF also had many public fallouts in the past but is given a pass because of his achievements. Will ETH be even a fraction as good as SAF? Time will tell.
