Hey A1 Auto I have 2 Questions:- (1) Why exactly does this vehicle's inner door handle lock up/freeze up like this and (2) how easy was this for you? and (3) when you're installing/replacing the entire transmission/torque converter exactly how much transmission fluid is needed for this vehicle?
Easy!2004 Explorer xlt passenger front door exact instructions. Thanks
Thank you thank you thank you for the video!! Followed it step by step and switched out the door handle of my dad's explorer successfully!
Great video. Thank you. I just changed it with no complications.

awesome man i just replaced my wheel bearings and hub assembly and transfer case and now i have to replace this door handle lol
Thanks, just replaced my driver's side door handle on 2004 Explorer. Second time replacing this handle, poor design by Ford.
I've encountered a scenario where I can get the new handle end and locking mechanism attached but the handle won't open the door. Any suggestions?
the only criticism I have is you made removing those stupid bolts look way too easy. Great video!
Wish this video was for the drivers side with the door lock. I'm not experienced with auto parts and don't quite understand the "locking mechanism".
does this work for the 05 sport trac

Genius
so is that a 11mm nut in there?
The back doors work the same way I assume.
Why remove the speaker?? I would only have pulled back the door lining as much as needed to do the job.
So can't you just use an extention through that hole to get to it easier?
Seems like the easiest method to me
