- I'll be showing you how to make Wheat Paste and how to use it for street art. Wheatpaste is a popular adhesive used in street art because it's cheap, easy to make, and can be customized to suit your preferences. To make it, all you need is flour, water, a stove, a pot, and a mixing spoon.
Instructions:
Gather materials: 1/2 cup flour, 2 cups water, stove, pot, mixing spoon.
- Turn stove on medium heat.
- Mix flour and water in a pot.
- Heat mixture on medium heat on the stove while stirring constantly until mixture is smooth and lump-free.
- When the mixture thickens (around 5-7 minutes), remove from heat and let cool.
- Pour into a container for transport.
- Use wheatpaste for street art or paper mache, and store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.

Holy shit! Thank you!
No problem, glad it helped!
👍 nice
Could you tell if it holds well even after a few months and doesn't start to peel off? And can i add art and craft glue to make it more adhesive?
I'm not sure if craft glue would help or hurt it, by you can always try. If done well, it can last for years. SHouldn't peel off unless the surface underneath is dirty or peeling. Hope that helps
Hi, good work. I wonder how good this protects the print from rain tho.
Thanks! It holds up pretty well in the rain if you wait for the ink to dry from the printer and coat it with wheatpaste, or you could use an extra sealer to be sure
Salut! Una pregunta: Como se ve en la pega cuando se pudre la mezcla?? En lo personal no me gusta enganchar mis carteles tapando firmas/graffitis si tengo espacio al lado, o intento buscar otro sitio...
I never had the glue long enough to know what it look's like rotten, it probably is alot chunkier and yellow-ish. as for the graffiti, I don't really care about going on certain graffiti cause thats the rules of the streets, open playground. Also that tag was wack anyways.
Can I make this the night before I use it or will it dry overnight? What container is best to keep it wet.
You can store it in the fridge for some days, or anywhere cold. I would use a plastic container with a screw tight lid for keeping it in. Gatorade bottles or bigger bottles work best
what ink should i use for the printer?
Any printer ink should work, I use inkjet, but I think laser would work too
What kind of paper can I use?
Regular printer paper works well. Or thin paper is even better, like newsprint paper, Kraft paper or butcher paper
HVS 80 gsm is good
What paper did u use ?
This was just regular printer copy paper. Nothing special
