- The Electro-Harmonix B9 Organ Machine (bit.ly/2l5BfSH) is a great way to expand your guitar’s sonic palette, with 9 organ settings. You can dial in six tonewheel organ tones with the first 6 presets, and three more experimental pipe organ, transistor and layered organ effects. Each effect can be tweaked with Modulation and key clicks can be added for a more realistic organ sound with the Click dial. We’ll go through all the tones with the organ mixed all the way in, but we’ll also showcase some of the original tones you can create by using the mix controls to add your guitar’s dry signal to the organ. If you’ve got two amps, you can put organ and dry effects in two locations with the B9’s dual outputs.

That Les Paul though
I see so many missing the potential of this pedal, used inventively. It's never going to sound exactly like an organ. But it does emulate the beauty of organs sounds fantastically. And when you up the dry signal to get both - well, it just sounds wonderful. One just needs to be creative in how they use it, as it has many possibilities.
You can tell when a guitar player has never touched a keyboard or piano before. I've seen a demo of this pedal where you can not tell at all that it's being played with a guitar. There are some creative ways to use this thing.
Sounds interesting. Got link?
Terrible demo.
Agreed! And not only that, he also uses guitar techniques that don’t work on the pedal at all 🤦🏻♂️
If you want guitar playing to mirror the organ, why not just play an organ. Lol. I mean your opinion is subjective here, the entire purpose in getting a pedal like this is to make your guitar sound like an organ, not to play exactly like an organ. I admit that it’s cool (I’ve seen demos like what you speak of) and it’s pretty awesome to see/hear that. But not all guitarist, probably a good 99% of guitarist who get this aren’t going to be trying to emulate the exactitude of playing an organ. Know what I mean?
I have recorded some tracks connecting a microphone to the B9 ,and as instrument, the harmonica, and the result was very good 👍🎵
@Shannen T I would place it as first on your pedals chain, because it has the dry knob that ables you to mix the sound of your instrument with the effected sound,or ,if you prefer ,it has 2 output ,so,you can connect the" organ" to one amp, and with the second output you can use other pedals and connect to another amp, and therefore you will obtain the sound that you like at most. Me: "Nice, this demo sounds great!"
Also me: *bashes power chords* "this sounds terrible!"
Do you know anoher guitar pegal with organ sounds?
Tempted to get one and pair it with my tc flashback 4 and shimmer reverb
Believe me or not,I have recorded two tracks using the B9 ,connecting a microphone, and made the organ sound with the HARMONICA, i'm serious, not joking! the preset was " Cathedral " ,with the recorder i've added the " hall" reverb ( the recorder is a simple to use Tascam DP 008 EX), ,and the final result was incredible!!! Sounds like a real organ! If you play harmonica, try to do the same! It works good also with banjo ( mine is tenor with two Epiphone Lp 100 humbuckers, you can see it in the picture of my you tube channel logo). Regards, Patrick from Italy 🎵🐾
Great demo and great player!
That is so 😎
You're really talented at this :D
talented? you must be deaf from one side of your head to the other including your deaf brain... he is sooo boring!!!!!!!!!!!!
What tastefull playing!!How about a lesson on those awsome chords and progressions😀😀!!
Can this guitar effect be used for other instruments than a guitar ?
is that a 59
I'd love to know what kind of LP that is. Never seen a standard in that colour.
It looks like the 58’ Gibson LP that Keith Richards once owned. Later given to Mick Taylor, also of Rolling Stones
@@raysherlock1053 wow, man you do know a lot of useless trivial stuff
@@vicentcarro I sure do friend
What is the difference between. C9. And B9
Different organ sounds.
I can play in the church With this
I only like the phantom of the opera tone. But I ain't gonna spend 200+ for just 1 tone.
cmon mooer do this one
a whiter shade of pale : my demo here :czcams.com/video/Mjxbenkd28s/video.html
The application just doesn’t sound right here as you’re playing it like it’s a chorus pedal. Keyboard technique/songs! Beautiful LP though.
It is fine to use in the Catholic Church.
Turn that click down yo.
These pedals are 100% worthless ; 240 Euro and after a few months , the organ type selector goes crazy . It becomes a game of chance to select the organ you want . Sad ...
