This movie was the 1st time I saw a play by Shakespeare. I was around 10 years old (1977). It's had such an impact on me that when a new Romeo and Juliet movie comes out, I'm always disappointed.

The sound track from that is amazing too. (I prefer that version to the recent remake of West Side Story)
