Darjeeling is a popular hill station located in West Bengal. This hill station is famous for its Darjeeling Toy Train. In this video, I have shown NJP to Darjeeling Toy Train Full Journey.
The Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, popularly known as the Darjeeling Toy Train, starts from Siliguri and travels up the hills to Darjeeling. The Darjeeling Toy Train runs on a narrow gauge track and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and valleys. This train runs at a slow speed and it takes around 7 hours to reach Darjeeling.
The Darjeeling Himalayan Railway was built between 1879 and 1881 and has been in operation since 1881. It was designed by British engineer and was considered an engineering marvel at the time, as it had to climb steep hills to reach Darjeeling, which is situated at an altitude of 2,000 meters above sea level.
The Darjeeling Himalayan Railway is famous for its unique zig-zag system. In this system, instead of going straight up a hill, the train reverses, changes tracks, and then moves forward. This reduces the stress on the engine and helps the train to climb the hill. The zig-zag system is a unique feature of the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway.
In 1999, the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway received the distinction of being a UNESCO world heritage site. The Darjeeling Himalayan Railway is a popular tourist attraction and is considered one of the most scenic train rides in the world.

Train ke chair car mai luggage rakhne ke liye corner mai rack banaye gaye hai. Aur first class mai apko luggage apne pas hi rakhna hoga.

Yes, you can go by train from NJP to Kurseong. Currently it is running 7 days a week but they frequently keeps changing the schedule based on the hills situation.
Is there any toilet in the 1st class compartment?
There is no toilet facility in First Class. Toilet facility is available in Chair Car (CC) with AC coach.
Siliguri to Darjeeling toy train ticket price
INR 1400 non ac and INR 1500 for ac. Price might fluctuate so please check in make my trip before planning.
At present toy train running or not
