You make a day in the life of a rail crew look so very interesting!
Awesome video Matty!
Thanks!
Nice video! In my opinion I think the G&W orange and yellow fits the gp15 the best.
💯
That was real good, thank you. I like GP15s and wondered from where or whom the SBRR was acquiring the Locos from, please. Also, good to see the End-cabs working Nose to Nose, which is how I like to run mine.
Today, a Permanent-way (MOW) train loaded with new Rail passed-by our house on the East Coast Mainline on the way into Scotland.
Later, 3 EMD Cl.66s locos went by. These are usually used for weight or 'pressure-testing' newly laid track. The 2nd & 3rd locos were in standard Freightliner green livery, but the lead was in Freightliner Genesee & Wyoming livery and was the first one I have seen this far north.
@@gp3829 Must've been awesome to see!
Great video I like the mini tunnel motors and the end cabs cool
Thanks a lot!
Very nice. Any idea who owns the old rail cars at the end of the video ?
@@scottleidenberger4401 Thanks! The old rolling stock is owned by a local railroad historical society. There's also a GE E10B and an Alco FA2 in that lineup.
At 2: 17 is that where Republic Steel used to be?
The only RS location I know of is in Lackawanna, which is still standing and was closed some time last year. Granted it's possible there was once a mill in the location you pointed decades ago, unfortunately I don't know enough of the area's history to give you a more definitive answer.
