PROBLEM : FADED DIGITS ON SCREEN.
- REPLACING THE POLARIZED FILM FRONT AND BACK SOLVED THE ISSUE.
COMMON PROBLEM FOR OLD DIGITAL WATCHES SINCE THIS GSHOCK MODEL IS FROM THE EARLY 90's .
POLARIZED FILM TEND TO BE DAMAGED DUE TO OLD AGE.

Can you revert with a link for the films you are using? In the comments of your casio video you say that you are using metallic stickers on the back. Pls provide more details, or make a video with links. Nice job my friend!!!!!!
hi sir, about the polarised film i bought it from a shop nearby my area, but u can used any polarised that meant for smartphones, TVs or monitors, it works just the same. and as for the metallic sticker it depends on the model of the watch for instants for Gshock it uses backlight ( illuminator ) so it doesn't need a metallic back polar for it, and for some vintage casios it uses LED for the light... and for this one u need a metallic sticker to make the numbers brighter.

My old DW6600 EL backlight turns on by itself. Then, it will not turn off unless I press the EL light button again.
Have you encountered this problem?

Short question, did you use simple polarizing film, not "mirror" polarizer?
please do not use Mirror Polar, because if you do so you wont be able to see the digital because of the reflective properties... so it will become useless.
@@abukambing177 In all Casios, a mirror polarizer is initially installed on the back side, isn't it? and everything looks great. I didn't quite understand what you mean
@@28lucky16 the trick is to use both normal polarized film on both sides of the lcd... but u have to find the right angel for the film to work... tried the mirror ones... turns out to be worst and looks not original from the factory.

@@abukambing177 friend, I tried right now to change the rear polarizing film on my g2900, with the rear film removed, nothing is visible at all, and when I glued the polarizing film it became very very dark. What to do?
Assalam tuan, izinkan saya bertanya. gshock saya g300 punya lcd selalu terpadam, tapi selepas tekan butang apa2,dia kembali ada. Selepas beberapa saat/minit dia hilang kembali. Kenapa ya tuan?
Wassalam tuna... oh selalu kalau tekan butang lcd padam pastu ada balik dia menunjukkan battery dah low... voltage current lalu board x cukup.. cuba tukar battery baru then buat AC reset. tgk mcm mana
Is ot possible to remove the "G" on the backscreen?
yes it is possible, because the G is just a card that has been placed behind the LCD.

oh tu kemungkinan dia punya Connector ribbon dia kotor... if kalau kes yang teruk, lcd tu dah rosak

saya takde kedai tuan... kalau tu hrm kalau penah bukak LCD check balik ribbon dia.. kalau tak mmg kena tukar LCD seketul
