It's sort of a 'virtual band' that consists out of game characters which was created to sell character skins. However, now the band itself has lore and 3 great albums, so there's much more to get into! "Mortal reminder" has a pretty fun music video that you saw suggested by youtube. There was even a live, motion capture concert for their third album! The real artists behind the band don't usually perform together, but they collaborate for Pentakill. For example, Jørn Lande is the lead singer in the role of Karthus, in some other songs there is a female vocalist Noora Louhimo (from Battle Beast, funny that you mentioned them) is in the role of Kayle. The songs that involve Noora are Tear of the Goddess, Gathering storm, Stormrazor and Redemption. She's amazing. Would be fun to see you check out more of their stuff! The third album they mix up their sound a bit more since its whole concept is this battle between Pentakill and Viego, who brings in some different sound into it (long story lol).
They have Released 2 new albums after this one, the newest one is called Lost Chapter and its pretty damn good imo you should check it out (also Mortal Reminder with its music video)
this is more a side project and not music within the game. Riot is famous for creating digital music groups with their game characters(outside of the game). The only thing that is appearing in the game are the skins. Their first and most popular song is with a music video called "mortal reminder". I do recommend watching it - it is well made and funny with good music. Just to give you a scope I mention the other bands: - Heartsteel - K/DA - True Damage Also, I would like to recommend very popular anime metal songs - I think you will really like them if you are into modern metal/hard rock: - SiM - The Rumbling (OFFICIAL VIDEO) - coldrain - MAYDAY feat. Its funny you mention dio, the singer from pentakill is jorn lande he did a full dio cover album its on youtube.
