  • Skiing some steeps and moguls at Copper Mountain, CO, and testing out the new GoPro Hero 11 Black, which I'll now work into my recording setup for organ videos as well. Impressive performance out on the mountain! We'll see how it does in the lower light settings where I'm typically recording organ videos.

Nice! I really like the shots with the sun behind you, aligned with your shadow. Like being there! Henri from Germany.

W O W, Patrick! Like your organ playing - sheer professionalism! What an amazing video. I felt like I was there with you, enjoying every second of the ride! (And I liked the music. BUT! Come on! An organ improvisation to accompany the thrill of the skiing and mountain scenery is well within your capabilities. Maybe next time . . . !!!) 🤣

Yes, the GoPro recorded you very well. I can tell you are happy to be back on the slopes in the areas where you spent your youth and young adult. I know your family is thrilled to have you back and joined with Elizabeth! GoPro 11 on organ videos will be excited to see. I sent you in a text several years ago the box cover of LED strip lights for pedal board I use if pedal board light is insufficient. works great. not expensive. 8 foot strip plenty long. Has remote, too.

Good stuff! Attachments? Looks like I can see the chesty mount. Are you using the handlebar/seatpost/pole mount? How far down the pole are you mounting? Any of those shots from a helmet adhesive mount?

Chesty, Jaws/Flex Clamp mount, and helmet adhesive. These shots were all from the chesty or jaws on pole. I used varying mounting locations, from just below pole grips all the way to just above the basket. Only downside of the jaws attachment is that it's a bit heavy with the camera, and took some forearm strength to keep it in the air.
