Yellow is one of my favorite characters in all of Pokemon media, period. They have such a unique take on the typical journey

Yellow and Lance's fight was the best part of this arc. Every one of her Pokémon pitched in and the inclusion of the evolution mechanics made it even cooler, especially when they all evolved at the same time.
Yellow's arc was one of greatest in the series, I loved the fights with the Elite 4 and the art of Mato here was at it's peak.
We've been waiting and Part 2 is out LET'S GOO🔥

I'm glad to see the next part of this series. I really like Yellow's story. I actually found her journey more interesting than Red's. My favorite part of her journey is being able to accept change and allowing her Pokemon to evolve in order to defeat Lance and save everyone.

Also like the fact that red isn’t here which slows the other to grow this way we don’t have the champion solving all our problems they should do this more in the games so the plot makes more sense

This chapter is incredible, Yellow’s showdown with Lance is one of the greatest battles in all of Pokémon, and every character has a critical role to play. Hard to believe Hidenori Kusaka was able to top this one!
I remember seeing someone a long time ago say that Yellow is the worst protagonist because she's so weak and doesn't know anything, but i disagree. I see her as a good character, and also the perfect surrogate character for younger siblings just learning about pokemon.
We need a continuation, please do something like this for the entire manga series!

I love these types of stories from pokemon, where they take the ones from the games and make their own interpretation of it that can be extremely different

I think one of my favorite parts of the manga is how the characters use thier pokemon's natural abilities alongside thier moves in battle
it makes battles feel more strategic and exicting

Volume 1 was a heckuva ride!
Reading Yellow had me heartbroken for the whole arc.
Pikachu is obviously being all Sad Panda due to its and Red's separation.
It really got me hard in the feels.
I guess it's to the writer's credit

that the story gets the reader so invested in the characters that you smile when they smile, you hurt when they hurt, ect.

I just thought of this and have no idea how else to make a request. But you should make a video on every time a legendary pokemon pops up in the manga and how their manga and anime and game counterparts differ from each other and what not that would be sick

The adventure series as always given me the feel what a Pokémon battle is more than the early anime. The some times fatal looking moves feel like we are in nature and when ever a pokeball is broken feel so realistic.

I first read this one already knowing what was going to happen so wasn’t ever truly surprised by anything, especially the gender reveal twist. I was also rushing through it to get to the arc I was actually excited for so wasn’t taking much time to truly appreciate what was on show, I remember treating it like a distracting side quest between the two main arcs that I actually cared about (the translation I read also insisted on some weird choices with self congratulatory explanations that were incredibly distracting) so I was never much of a fan at the time.
I recently re-read the whole thing, taking a bit more time and was surprised at how strong this arc was. It is step up from the first arc, building on everything that had been established whilst continuing some of the environmental themes. It really feels like the writer was relishing being unshackled from the strict confines of the game narrative and really letting his imagination run wild. I was actually blown away by some of the art in this chapter which never happened with the first arc. That image of Yellow, held aloft by Kitty as she launches Megavolt at Lance is stunning. It’s now one of my favourites.
I got sidetracked from reading somewhere around the volume where we find out how Red got saved. I need to go back and this is a great recap so I don’t have to start from page 1

Just now thinking about this: the manga touches on a glitch in Red Blue and Yellow, the badge boost glitch.
I remember i was reading book 5 in a restaurant with some friends and lance came on and one friend asked me who he was i said lance the dragon type trainer of the elite four and now they wont leave me alone about it anytime for no reason when i am doing anything pokemon related they say lance the dragon type trainer from the elite four
Adventures is such a good story, in comparison to the Show/Games. Not that the others are 'bad', just the manga is so good. Glad it exists and glad to see it covered with love. Yellow is great, she has some more MVP moments iirc. Excited for the Crystal episode, she's the real underappreciated GOAT of Pokemon Adventures, at least as far as Prof. Oak is concerned.
