They definitely missed a trick not releasing it with a wrist strap and an app for a clock on the front screen
Such a good idea.. wonder what battery life is like though?!
Add a magnet to the back of the device and a magnetic frame to 3m to your cars for easy removal! (Bit like a magnetic phone holder)
The ability to rename the stages and customise the display screen
Use the 3M tape to fix a phone case steel plate to back of control module, the use a phone holder to locate your control anywhere you have a magnet.
There should be the ability to lock an input so older cars can have some level of cruise control. Also, maybe a rev limiter for lower speed enviroments.
I'd really like to win that so can see how much of difference it will make on my vauxhall insignia 2.0 cdti
How do you power the wireless controller, is it plug in USB rechargeable or do you have to replace the batteries?
Coasting mode option for all settings on dsg cars
Stick it on to the steering. This would make your car feel sportier. Ability to change throttle sensitivity just like any expensive cars.
All vag cars defo need this type of function..
Do these cure flat spots at the start of depressing the accelerator?
Like the look and sound off this i already have the GTS black for my T ROC R so assume my current app would work with both and the 2 would complement each other? i guess my suggestion would be that the App can be added to a smart watch and be controlled just like the controller it now comes with, so people have multiple options on what to choose when buying. great idea with the anti theft option!
Another thought ive just had is that anyone with a Gts box and the app, it would be good if you were able to control both devices on that new xlr device aswell so can self both settings rather than having 2 different platforms to look at and if like me the phone is tucked away and don’t alway use the gts box it would give a better option off selecting the modes while driving as can have it stuck on the dash somewhere!! #racechipmakeithappen

Morning , came not so long ago to have the XLR5 fitted on a manual golf r , a suggestion for the Anti-theft, personally if someone tried to press the throttle a notification on the controller to say someone has pressed the throttle would be a good idea personally?

How to set the correct time on the controller?
For the anti thief function.... can you show what happen if the controler disconnect itself from the module while you are on the motorway.... or some sort of signal block and it disconnected with the module? would your throttle stop responding straight away even while driving?
i was thinking this. phones can drop connectivity. I guess you'd have to make sure you're definitely not in anti theft mode while driving or there is a failsafe for that?
Information on those doesn't seem to be easily accessible in their website, like for instance.. what battery does the controller use, can the anti theft mode be disabled by the app. How would one carry the controller around when shopping? Can I ware it like a watch, keyrings etc.. not many of those information can be found online either. Suppose it's still not widely used or available to the markets, therefore these side adds on products hasn't been out yet..

Bought this and installed 3.2 n/a engine and have noticed in sport and race car letting out abit to soot exhaust tips have been black abit after a drive. Never happened before. So does the pedal box makes car run richer do the alter fuel timings has these pedal box's send own signals to ecu for fuel injection.. how do they actually work
The XLR doesn't alter anything to do with the tuning of the car. It is purely altering how the pedal controls the throttle.

The ability to ping the controller and make a sound or flash if lost from the app.
Make it so it can be attached to a smart watch band so you can wear it as a watch then b a lot easier to use and take out car way you and not forgetting it all time if it was on your wrist security features would b easier to work
It should have a 'car chase" mode that plays tunes from The Italian Job, but it only allows a 30% throttle for car chase safety reasons.

what happens if it runs out of batteries while you're driving? will that make it go into anti theft mode and deactivate the throttle? would be bad if that happens while you're driving on the highway or something.
The app takes over, so it would just stay in exactly the same setting it was left in.
Sorry i am 4 months late but i have an good update: you guys could add a pin code to open the controller that even you leave it in the car nobody could unlock it because they need a pin code 😊
On the admin feature the administrator let which app see what stats he likes. Maybe send a warning to the phone from dad to the driver driver and or an alarm when driving style has changed good a nice sound bad a warning sound to keep dad happy and worry free also if u want to reduce your carbon footprint. controller, auto setup thru Bluetooth, score every different driver style like a weekly game monthly….. have multiple devices on multiple accounts ie 5 drivers 3 different cars 6 apps and a main admin account 5 family members linked to admin account. Weekly monthly yearly improvement chart to reduce your carbon footprint or improve your racing study l on the track race drivers love stats
