Will Cain actually asks very good questions, he doesn't worship at the altar of Dr Dyson but simply does what any good academic should do which is query and explore. You then end up with a conversation rather than a sermon which is what I am intrested in.

He was in the minds of most White Americans a guilty man who was correctly found to be "not guilty" by a wise Jury who followed the evidence and their Instructions. I think it's because his crime, car chase, trial all poured into the media. It became galvanized in our memory.
That's an interesting take. I've felt that OJ was a terrible symbol for black struggles with law enforcement because he was actually guilty. Like pick someone who's actually innocent and rally behind that person. But it's interesting to hear someone make the argument that he was actually a great symbol because he got away with it, just like many cops have gotten away with murdering and mistreating blacks. Essentially it forced rest of America walk in our shoes. Really interesting.. but I still think it's disgusting for anyone to argue that what he did was somehow justifiable.
