Just got my shellstrike and i wanna minimized it like how you did it! So 2 questions, 1. What tool did you use to cut off the shell holder of the blaster? And 2. What did you use to cover up the bottom part of the blaster?
I cut it off with my band saw, but a good old fashion hack saw would do in a pinch. I didn’t even cover the bottom. If you dot it right it only leaves a couple of small holes.
Typically, when you go up on the main spring, the stock catch spring will no longer be strong enough for the catch to hold, hence replacement is necessary.

I’m not a mod expert but because of how you prime it it would get kind of annoying to put a strong spring in it so is there a way to make a better air seal just curious please respond to this thank you if you have the answer 😃
There may be an upgrade seal available for it at this point, I'm not sure. You could try making a slightly thicker one out of craft foam, but I would caution againts it. I have tried a few times on Hammershots, and never got an improvment. I have had a few of them perform worse. What I will say is that the upgrade spring doesn't make it too bad to prime, so long as you don't try to go too crazy. This one's got a k26 and isn't an issue at all really.
Upgrading to a heavy spring will shorten the life of the blaster. But it’s hard to say how much. Braising it should improve performance a bit. And I think an Apollo spring would work, but might need to shorten it some.
From my experience removing AR's doesn't net much and with the heavier spring load I have found it's best to leave them in to prevent damage if the blaster is dry fired.
Hey! I'm looking to make my shell shock into a sort of rifle, I'm not really someone that does modding. I am hoping to add a grip to the end of the extended barrel, and a stock on it after cutting mag off. Is there a tutorial you could make for this?

For this one I used a band saw, but it can certainly be done with a variety of other tools........................................... Chris

Most of the catch springs I use are leftover springs from blasters that I have scrapped.

I would highly recommend going it a heavier catch spring if you are going to go up on the main spring.

What springs you upgrade to on the catch? I’m going to do this as my first mod and want to have the proper parts.
Honestly my friend , I don’t remember. It came out of the bin, but I think it was a k55 from McMaster.

I just cut down a retaliator spring. As Gould be able to grab one from Out of Darts or Foamblast.
Hey also how hard is it to prime?? If you can prime a nexus pro is this still hard?? Is it like Aoen pro or like a k26 takedown???
I have a retaliator and it sucks. Does the stock retaliator spring work with this or do i need to buy a mod kit?
I used a 12kg retaliator spring , I’m sure the stock spring would fit but I doubt you would get any gain in performance
