“We decided to record the audio from our 7th annual hometown Christmas benefit show in 2022 where we played a mixed set from our albums ‘The Valley’ and ‘Kin’. We thought this would be a good way to close the chapter on these albums before we start recording our 9th album. The audio was recorded, engineered, mixed and mastered by our very own Zach Householder and we are excited about the way that it turned out. Along with the audio we shot 2 live videos to accompany the live album release.” - Alex Wade

I think it's touched up a bit even if I can hear some wrong notes and other tiny mistakes. You don't know if the musician is good unless you see him live and you know what to look for.

I’m so glad that I found you guys. I’m 42 and have been a fan for about 6 months. Up until the last couple of years I was a basic metal fan (thrash, nu, a little death) but when I turned 40 I just felt tired of all of that and wanted to find more. Whitechapel is easily one my my favorite finds these past two years. Heavy rotation on my playlists and I’ve bought physical copies of almost all the albums. You guys have got a fan for life here. Can’t wait to see you in Knoxville next month
I’ve been listening to them since their first album you’ll also like born of Osiris, we shall perish, and all that remains. Born of Osiris is similar to white with amazing vocals and breakdowns
@@ItalianMetalHED thanks. They’re on my list of bands to check. I’m always on the hunt for new stuff. I’ve been heavily into Whitechapel, Lorna Shore, Go Ahead and Die, Sanguisugabogg, Cattle Decapitation, Job for a Cowboy, Mr. Bungle and Cavalera Conspiracy this past year and luckily they all have decent sized discographies but I need to mix it up a bit more. I just started with Chelsea Grin a few days ago and I dig them so far. But definitely thanks for the suggestions.

@@moshmallowsdk there’s a slight pause between his words that allows him to go from his normal voice (there’s a world), to slightly fried (beyond), to full distortion (the surface of our mind) that’s shit’s fire 🔥 reminds me of what the singer for BFMV did in hand of blood in the pre chorus where he’s singing into a scream I’m like WHAT?!?
Love it. I dont care if a vocalist does one word clean and goes back. I can't imagine how vocally exhausting his job is. I'm a drummer and I'm fucking dying after 20 mins. Let alone what these guys do for a living. Whitechapel fan since 2007 and will forever love Phil bozemans talent and many members who have came and left.

Not gonna lie Phils live vocals were stronger, more powerful 15, 10 or 5 years ago. I guess like any instrument your vocals degrade eventually. Especially after touring so much for many years. He's still good but compared to where he was previously, there's definitely been a downslide. Don't get mad at me I like Phillybo he's an awesome dude

They are awesome live though I wish I could see them as the main act. I saw this as an opening act for Atreyu. They played about 6 of there song. In 2019 when “The Valley” came out. They were badass for those 6 songs though.
