Man this got me emotional! What a career, what a player, an absolute stud on the field. As a fan it made me so happy to watch him play, our opponents hated playing against him so much! Anytime he was on the field you knew there was a good chance we were going to win, because of his aggressive style, and it was so fun to watch! I'm happy he could come back and sign the one-day contract to retire with the club. I hope he always feels welcome in Seattle with the fans because we'll always love what he did for the club! The word that comes to mind is 'tenacity.' This man never quit. He had a talent for making those tough physical plays that looked like yellow cards until you watched the replay and realized that he timed it perfectly and won the play fair and square. We appreciate you, Ozzie! Your legacy of toughness and passion has carried on throughout the Sounders organization and we're honored that you came back to retire a Sounder.
