    Cali Grill is always amazing. Bonus of eating there- take the boat after to Geyser Point or Territory Lounge!

    Well, let's just say I did nót expect Princess to give that mushroom dish the triple wow + 5 out of 5 bomb. They better do some high fives in that kitchen. I still think the vegan portions are too small to justify the prix fix price but this iteration might actually sway me. Thanks for coming back and giving this a try for us!

    I've never had a bad meal at California Grill! It's a must do for every trip. I had the vegan ravioli back in March, and I still can't over how good it was. We ate so much food we had to walk it off in the hotel 😅

    We always had difficulty getting reservations. FINALLY got in Thanksgiving Day 2023. we really liked the ravioli LOL, prob because it’s hard to find vegan ravioli anywhere. I agree that the experience is top notch. Going to try for reservations for our July trip. That mushroom dish looks excellent! And OMG do we miss Toledo’s vegan seafood platter… if this even comes close, we are there!

      The mushroom dish is the only dish that's come close to any type of competition with that old Toledo seafood platter.

    Yaaay! I was literally wondering aloud last night when you’d show us the new menu items and this fell from the stars this evening! 🎉 Thank you! I cannot wait to go back. We love beetroot and that entrée just looked fascinating. My only problem is not eating 44 loaves of bread before any other food arrives - it’s so good!
    Our favourite server, Rachel, walked behind you several times and I kept waving at her! 😂 They are the best. It’s just the best restaurant in Disney World. (I’ll accept Tony’s at number 2 😜😜😜😜)

      😂😂 Bear didn't want to go. I had to book it while he was asleep and say we're going. 😂 The bread is so good, even better as rolls. Watching them prep sheets of bread from our table was amazing. We'll have to say hi to Rachel for you guys next time we're there!

      Please do - tell her we’ll see her soon! Definitely worth all the sighs from Bear. I usually book things while Enda is distracted and do the same - although mine are mostly whole entire trips to Disney World 😂 He sleeps less than I do, so I’m at a disadvantage 🤣

    Great review! Glad the food and cocktails were exceptional this time. Happy birthday or anniversary! (I didn’t hear you say what you were celebrating). Never been to the bar at CG? Unbelievable! We always go to the bar. Maybe we’re just too lazy to make reservations but we are loungers to the extreme. We eat most of our Disney deluxe food at the bars.

      We weren't there for a special occasion, though it may have appeared so with the Mickey confetti and cake. That was some Disney magic.

    I love California Grill, but haven’t been since the awful pasta dish I had there last summer. I was just telling my husband a few weeks ago that we need to go back there for Thanksgiving like we do every year and give it another try. I am so excited to go back now after watching this!
    Also shout out to Jason and Mo! We always ask if either of them are there when we go.

      Who knows what the menu might be come November. We've only been away 3 months and so much changed! Of course we'll be back. So cool you see the same CMs! They're the real magic.

    Fun fact, the half-moon shaped stuffed pasta on the bottom is the mezzaluna, as it literally means half-moon in Italian🇮🇹 💚

    Cali Grill with the fixed price meal (and I'm all behind why they did that with people taking capacity (and servers revenue) away with holding tables either just appetisers or dessert for fireworks viewing) hasnt been that great for variety. They cant cook a decent rare steak, unlike surprising enough Coral Reef and Cindy's, coming out either as medium or burn on the outside. We miss the Sushi and Sashimi they use to have. We've had some wonderful dishes there like the Grouper and Halibut, but they cant do any beef entree consistently.
