- Mike fells 90’ hickory tree with his Stihl MS311 homeowners chainsaw. Still low on hickory firewood I contracted Mike on his day off from his day job to help me drop this hickory tree. Mike shouldn't have told her to stop recording the video so I had to make a second video.

Once again, Mike and Nicole show up and get the job done.
Awesome!
She did ok as camerawoman but wasn't supposed to stop recording
After watching this episode - I don't think you can blame anything related to "felling" this tree on the MS311. I have an MS311 - and find it a very capable saw.
Very poorly done. Back cut was to low. No safety equipment. You'll only get lucky so many times.
You need to get some wedges in to the tree, just to help out
A Stihl Ms 311 is a farm saw not a Homeowners saw
Are you sure Zach? Im pretty sure the MS 211 and 311 are home owners. The 291 and 391 are farm grade.
Yes he is correct 311 is step up from homeowners it’s a farm saw it’s a step up from the 291!!
your workers comp claims must be through the roof, along with some of your trees, i imagine !
Great line. Lol
Ha!

Piss poor job at best
No helmet, no chaps, no ear protection, no axe, no wedges. Blunt chain, on an underpowered saw for the job. And a camera operator with instructions to get the hell out of dodge. What could possibly go wrong...
I'm surprised that thing is so under-powered for almost a $500 saw.
tassie handyman everything possible
Not sure how this saw is "Underpowered" for the job.
Underpowered? Have you run one?
Not underpopulated, chains dull
