    Great video, looking for some advice. I shoot real estate with the Canon M50 and a Laowa 9mm f/2.8 lens. The photo quality has been excellent. However, I haven't been too keen on the video results. Usually, I get requests from agents wanting cinematic drone with video footage. And I always shoot drone footage in 4K on the DJI Mini 2 since it's far better than 1080p on this particular drone.
    Can you either do a video or respond with how you would shoot a video with the equipment mentioned? Thanks in advance.

  • @UberBman
    @UberBman Před 2 lety

    Joris, question: I have a Canon M50 EOS and I have been messing with it roughly off and on for close to a year. I've dabbled with filming action figures, but I have built a custom diorama as a backdrop/film set. I've invested in a slider with a rail system to shoot smooth footage. What lens do you recommend outside of the one that comes with the Canon M50? My intent is to film the figures for review purposes but do it in a cinematic look. Sounds goofy I know.
    I'm using Premier Pro and have learned basic color grading but I'm wanting to get the best image quality with my current gear. I am using the Cinestyle color profile with a PrismFx lens simulated anamorphic step-up adapter to replicate flares.
    Also, I'm mainly shooting this in my garage with a few small light sources plus the small flickering lights that the diorama has. So, it is a semi-controlled environment. I'm trying my best to grasp the basics and not shoot in automatic, despite the automatic pictures coming out amazing looking but when I switch to manual using the same settings as the auto the pictures come out different. I've been told it's an issue of the white balance.
    So, if you have any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it.

    • @JorisHermans
      @JorisHermans  Před 2 lety

      Well, I guess a macro lens would be a good choice. And first find out at what focal length you shoot most of the time. But yeah, look for macro lenses. You could also buy an adapter so you can use Canon EF lenses on your EF-M camera.
