- There's been a lot of discussion on whether or not these commemorative belts are worth buying. At less than half the price, I give my thoughts about whether or not these championship straps are worth the money!

Universal Championship Blue Commemorative Title Belt

Never thought I'd be able to get even one Championship replica! They were just so ridiculously expensive! I kind of knew about commemorative titles but figured they'd be plastic junk and didn't bother. But then I saw this video and I decided to get the universal championship and it was amazing! Very well-made and looks fantastic and very authentic even though it's plastic! I've gotten the United States Championship and NXT Championship commemorative belts since then! Thanks man!
So glad I could help!
I took a chance and bought the raw women’s championship it was on sale!
It might look amazing... But $250 for a Plastic title still rubs me the wrong way.
I've watched this video several times and it helped me decide to get that sick championship belt. Thanks a lot bro.
Of course! I’m glad to make it :)
Frrr‼️😭
Hey bro hope you stay safe good review I’m getting a universal championship commemorative belt and this really helped me thanks bro
I have 5 commemerative belts and 1 replica! They were all on sale! I love commemorative belts and the replica belts the same. Since I don't see the need for sideplates.... it's not much of a "con" for me.
What's that belt & How much..??
My first belt I recently bought was the White INTERCONTINENTAL belt which is a commemorative. I will definitely by other commemoratives in the future
Is it the heavy version or is it a lighter version
@@Sweetniques The commemorative one is lighter by a about a pound and a half
@@leir2005 how many pounds
Thanks man I was talking to my mom about getting me one but I wanted to check to see if it was worth it so thank you you've made my birthday a lot better this year
I’m so glad to hear that!!! :)
You have a nice mom man
I’ve got the wwe championship replica belt! And yeah it’s heavy and metal and really happy with my purchase! The big differences between commemorative and replica is metal or plastic and change the side plates so that’s the real difference!
I got the SmackDown version of the Universal Championship commemorative title belt for my birthday! It was awesome!
Smackdown version looks better than the raw version
Ordered The Blue Universal Championship Commemorative Two Days Ago. Can’t Wait For It To Come🙏🏾😤🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾
Awesome!!!! I’m sure you’ll enjoy it!!! 😄😄😄
Yo I want the belt for Christmas
I have a commemorative 2015 Toy's r Us Jakks Pacific. It's held up nice. Very durable and heavy for plastic. I just ordered an Undisputed v2 and a Andre 87 from Fandu.
Thanks for the review. I might get the 2013 commemorative Wwe championship now. Commemoratives are solid. Mine is 6yrs old still going.
sorry late to the party lol. i recently bought one and i can't wait for it to get here! thank you for making this video! i only wanted it cuz of our tribal chief!!
I have This, the WWE Championship, & the NXT Championship Commemoratives.
I personally love them, the sideplates aren’t an issue for me because I wasn’t intending to change them anyways.
The next Commemorative I buy will be the Old Raw Red Universal, any belts that have Commemorative alternatives to I’m gonna go that route because you still get quality for cheaper, because they really do look identical.
I got this & the WWE title commemoratives for the same price my one WWE Big Gold Replica cost.
Good thing I watched this video! I plan on buying one but I wasn’t sure what this one meant since I did notice that it was way cheaper for now since it’s $160 instead of $200!
I currently own the commenerative universal and wwe championships. Very happy with my purchases
Love the belt great review
I’m gonna get that thanks for the review Mann
Of course! My pleasure! :)
I had the Mark Henry ECW title. The silver one with the Phoenix on the front. It was a commemorative belt I think I bought it in 08 or 09. It was a very nice belt you couldn't tell it was plastic unless you picked it up. I just got rid of it about a few months ago due to it's condition. The plates still looked good no paint flaws or anything it was the strap was cracked up from folding and age. Plus the plastic fasteners that held the plates to the strap on one side plate and two on the main broke off. So I say all that to say if you don't plan on doing any ruff housing with it and maybe keep as a display peace get one. Mine lasted about 10yrs until I just said F it and got a replica.
Although the commemorative belts aren't for me (I'm team bootleg all day) I'm not going to yuck someone else's yum when it comes to their collections. I still love seeing belt videos of people with commemorative, replica, bootlegs whatever the person has. If you love it, then I love to see you with it.
I would prolly buy one too, yeah theyre cheaper quality. but its not like its going to snap in half.
the only big difference is you cant change the sideplates. but side plates are an extra expense i DONT want. the regular WWE sideplates are fine.
I wish they made more of those titles and not certain ones so you can either pick from the reblica or the other one that's my whole thing but overall it's a cool looking title.
I agree! I’ve really been happy with it thus far and it really seems like more of a clout thing and than a quality thing in terms of people who prefer the replicas.
Also for the people that want a metal version. Buy them second hand I got the wwe championship version for 200. Offer up is pretty good in finding titles
Way to go launching your channel in a pandemic. How does she wear around the waist? I fear it looks a little stiff and like it would fight to come undone or break upon wearing. Any experience/insight on that?
Thanks! It’s hard to snap in around the waist by yourself, but the snaps are super high quality so I wouldn’t worry about it breaking or coming undone. The strap can be a bit stiff but I don’t think you’ll have problems with it breaking or anything if you wear it around your waist.
This is a late comment, but I've been considering ordering the title since I'm graduating 8th grade and I actually have the money. I'm just curious, how long would the delivery take? I'm assuming may 1-2 weeks?
If you plan of collecting and selling, I would definitely say go with the replica ones. If you plan on keeping and just displaying, go with the commemorative belts. They look just like the replicas.
Yeah, that’s pretty much why I went with the commemoratives.
If the strap is the same low quality that the replicas use you might as well get the commemorative if the plastic is similar to the metal plates. Only major difference would be side plates at that point
I recently got a replica spinner belt, and I really didn't see much difference between the straps.
How easy is it to pop off the gems? I’m trying to replace the ones on mine but they seem tough to take out
I have one and I love it. it's my first title belt.
I ordered the wwe title rock introduced im 2013 and this title today can’t wait for live events
Well I watched your video and immediately ordered one got it on sale too
Enjoy!
The commemorative belts get some hate because of the material. But the way I see it if it is a full sized belt it's still a replica to me just a cheaper version for people like me on a budget. I have the Jakks Pacific and Spinner one.
Agreed. I like the ones I have thus far. I don’t really
understand the hate for them.
Lane Stanberry you should get a fandu big gold u can get a imperfect one for 199.99 or a little more it has 8 mm plates a faux strap that is as floppy as real leather and the belt weighs 7 pounds
so irecently just wanted to start collecting belts and my question is are commemorative belts worth keeping and displaying like people do the replicas?
Thank you!
I just bought the commemorative intercontinental belt looks great
Hey man! I can’t help but notice the screws on the back of the side discs, what happens if you unscrew them? Are the side plates one piece unlike the interchangeable ones?
Unscrewing those makes the whole plates pop off. Sadly, the side plates aren’t interchangeable unless you go in and cut the plate yourself.
I got the wwe world heavyweight champion! So exited for it to come I’ll buy a replica but when I have enough money
Just ordered mine. Waiting for it to get to me.
I decided that with the wwe main titles like all the wwe championship titles and universal titles I’m gonna get the replica ones but the United States and intercontinental championships I’m gonna get the commemorative. So thank you for the review
Also I have the wwe universal blue championship replica rn 👋
You're welcome! Enjoy your belts!
I have a red replica and a blue commemorative but you can’t tell a difference until you pick them up.
Actually a lot of times I am seeing the replicas sell for less than $100 more than the commemorative belts. When it is a case like that, I would spend the extra to get the replaceable side plates and the metal plates. I would never spend 400+ for a replica unless it was made with real leather, which some of them do have that as an option.
WWE usually has belts on sale on a regular basis.
Very much agreed. I never buy belts at full price.
@@LaneStanberry same thing if I go buy a watch from a jewelry store. What ever the full price says, there is no way I would pay that unless it was some luxury watch that never goes on sale like Rolex. All watches usually sell for around 1/2 of what it is actually marked for. That price is for the person who isn’t patient and must own it now, no matter the cost. This rule applies for other jewelry as well like brackets and necklaces. Usually it isn’t as much as 1/2 but a hundred dollars off is a big deal for an expensive item. I have bought a few of them over my lifetime for god only knows how many women I have had in my life.
I’m gonna get the red and blue belts in commemorative, and a metal replica WHW current belt , because I want them all in my collection but I don’t wanna basically keep buying the same belt over and over with just a different color strap basically
Yeah, I feel that for sure. I want a WHW, but it would just feel weird to me buying the same belt with a black strap instead of blue.
Commemoratives are great on a budget, but if you choose to use Klarna or PayPals new Layaway plan you’re doing yourself a favor. Replicas are too good especially with their new casting method.
honestly i would only really buy the tag belts for collectors purposes OR buy this just for the blue strap because i already have the red one.
I’ve just purchased the blue universal championship
Ok I have a question... since it’s commemorative and it’s a pretty sick belt doesn’t really have to be replica... can it fit around one’s waist?
It fits around your waist. 🤙🏾🤙🏾
I would think eventually the plastic would start to peel and fade. But maybe not. I thought about one of these but couldn't pull the trigger. I think i would prefer the metal plates. I have 2 of the jakks Pacific toy/kids belts now and hope to get one that feels like they do on tv.
That's fair! I'll certainly make a video down the line of how it looks. Mine's about a year old and still looks pretty good.
I want a commemorative title but can’t decide lol there’s so many, I could get the current WWE, the WWE (2013), the world heavyweight, maybe the universal, I can’t decide lol.
I want the us title
I have the WHC and the blue universal. You should go for the normal WWE title!
if i can't change plates i don't want it but yeah ima need metal plates. I might get commemorative for tags and nxt belts
I owned 2 commemorative titles. I sold them both and I’ll never buy them again. I only buy the replica titles now. You have to be patient as a championship collector and wait for WWE Shop to make a really good deal on the championship that you want. For me, I would rather spend the extra money for higher quality rather than buy a cheaper version made primarily for display purposes. Championship side plates are a must for me. Any championship that I own has either a nameplate or set of side plates on it otherwise I will not buy it. That is why I refuse to get commemoratives at this point.
it depends on the person buying..
@@goingmerry1987 Well I gave my honest opinion because I’ve had commemorative championships before and based on my experience I feel they’re just not worth it.
I have always owned replicas but the commemorative look nice
Nice! The replicas really are super cool, I just don’t think the commemoratives are as bad as people say they are, especially for the price.
I've owned a few commemorative championships and in my experience the stitching wasn't as good as the replica
I have the WWE world heavyweight commemorative Championship now I'm trying to get the WWE Universal Commemorative Championship
i might get mine for my birthday nov 2, my mom might make me open it on my bday party nov 7. ok so excited to be bluniversal champion
Is the strap of your belt less stiff now? Like the replicas?
Not really, still kinda stiff, but if I lay some textbooks on over night it straightens back out again.
Should I get the ic title or the SmackDown world commemorative
IC
Do the plates feel like metal? E.g cold to the touch
Not necessarily. They look really good, but they feel like plastic, not gonna lie.
Is the belt heavy ?
Can we bend the belt or not ? (between the side plate and the main plate)
Nah, probably not. Would probably snap the plates off.
Do you think I should get a Jakks Pacific belt or wwe shop belt
From what I’ve seen of the Jakks Pacific belts, I would for the WWE Shop ones. :)
I ordered mine already ill get it thursday😀
Congrats!!!! 🎉
@@thedoomslayer9792 thanks
I’m getting this belt as it’s a nice price atm on euroshop also getting the wwe championship the same time as the £144.00 each witch is still cheaper then 1 replica
Nice! I recently got a replica spinner belt, and it’s sooooo heavy idk if I would want to take it to a show. That’s a plus I didn’t include in the video, the commutative is pretty light compared to the replica.
I only got the universal
Thanks
You're welcome!
Commemorative is the way to go for display purposes....looks the same & $200 cheaper. I’m wishing they release a winged eagle belt
Agreed! It looks great on my wall in my newer videos.
I think these should be running maybe $120. If the plates are plastic I think the price is ridiculous.
im currently waiting for my universal wwe championship from the wwe shop...i ordered one from amazon and when it came in it was the most disgusting belt i had ever seen....such bad quality i had to return it (it was that bad) and currently waiting for my money back....i look foward to receiving the one from wwe shop hope this is way better...also i cant forget to mention that i got the wwe shop belt for $157 while i got the other peace of crap for almost $300...smh lesson learned
Is That The WWE Shop Belt Zoe Jakks Pacific???
Vince McMahon This is the WWEShop version! :)
Would you say these belts are a good investment??
I like it it's nice belt
How much in South Africa
The non-wwe fans say their not worth buying lol 😂 PS: I am a fan
IF I HAD THE CASH ID CHOOSE COMMEMORATIVE BELT THATS MY ULTIMATE CHOICE THE CHEAPER THE BETTER
i bought both the WWE championship and the red universal championship (both commemorative) and the red-iversal championship had a more bendy strap when compared to the WWE title which was stiff as hell
Oh wow, interesting info. Maybe the color has a difference in how stiff they are?
@@LaneStanberry could be! was amazed at how bendy it was when i was putting it over my shoulder and around my waist, honestly thought they packed wrong and i got a replica inside of a commemorative bag, alas it wasn't to be XD. but still! i'm pretty damn impressed at how good the strap was!
@@un_known5895 I'm glad you've enjoyed it! I really do love the ornamentation on the mold for it. These are some pretty cool belts.
I’m thinking of doing that too cause why should I spend that much money on replicas like the price of 3 replicas can be 5 commemoratives like come on
It’s worth it
I agree!
Back in 2010/2011 commemorative belts used to cost only $75. Now they're $150-200. At that point I'd rather just buy a used replica belt for a similar price.
question is can i change the sideplates of blue universal commemorative title?
No
The other commenter is correct. Sadly the side plates can't be removed unless you do a DIY project.
I have the same belt 👍👌
Not sure wether to get replica RAW or SD universal title
I chose to get the SD because the Raw belt was retired.
If you have a specific and/or an actual preference (RAW or SD / red or blue / etc.), I'd say to just go with that. It may be that at the end of the day, you'll find that you made the RIGHT choice and/or the NECESSARY choice.
Hey man do u have IV
IG sorry
I just cant see myself paying $250 for a plastic championship when i can get a 1:1 Non Licensed metal replica from Etsy for less than $250.
I was gonna get a WWE championship (2014) commemorative but they’re unavailable right now.
Oh really? I wouldn’t worry though, they’re certainly gonna get more. You’ll get one soon enough :)
Looks like the WHC that I unboxed in a recent video is also not available. It wouldn’t surprise me if they’re trying to push other belts that aren’t selling well.
Yeah that’s WWE for ya’
Do any of you guys know when they will be available again?
Don’t know it was unavailable so I just went on eBay and got one it actually arrived today
Do u think i could wrestle this guy
I bought a wwe commemorative belt and bought drew mcIntire side plates damm I thought I could put them in 😅
You still might be able to with some handiwork! Check around on CZcams, I believe there's a tutorial on how to cut them out.
@@LaneStanberry or I can get the real one for Christmas
@@sandymanxx96 You should get the normal WWE title then, so you can have both!
I pay 115 for my
Wouldn’t the worst part be that … ITS PLASTIC!? (Plates) that seems much bigger an issue than no custom things
I paid $160
Get more belts pls
I just want a belt idc
Yeah! You should get one! They’re a blast. :)
I bought mine for 130$
Great price!
Ill stick with my 25 dollar plastic belts.
Fair! I loved my toy spinner replica.
This is the weakest looking World Heavyweight Championship belt in pro wrestling. The big gold belt is the best looking World Heavyweight Championship belt in WWE.
No

Do I have to type it in Spanish?
@@MrNWA4Life what did y say no for
Btw you’re the bottom comment
