@@mrwilson7617and to the grocery store on Mondays 😁
@@mrwilson7617 never crashed til Steve got ahold of it!!
So doing the Lord's work still...just faster 😂
Done hauling the bodies 😂😂😂
I used to know nothing about engines. Thanks to you Steve now i know next to nothing about engines😂
Ha ha ha ha 😂
@@codyw1258 maybe that's why. It's now the Holy grail 🙏
Engines are easy. Living a life free of sin is the most difficult part.
Happy to help
@@stevemorrisracing when theres so much to learn “next to nothing” is a lot of information haha thank you
Thanks for being a class act. Not blaming others, taking it on the chin and still keeping it (mostly) language-friendly. Your persistence and dedication to quality is an inspiration. All the best to you and your family.
I have this Hot Rod Magazine from December 2006 with a little write up on you, the wagon at the time ran a 9.57 at 163 and weighed 4150 pounds!!
Amazing to see how far you and the car have come.
26:00 The first S.M. video, I ever watched! Been watching, ever since. Spent, a few hundred dollars, on merch. I know, nobody cares!😃
11th Commandment: "Thou Shall Use The Power Of Resurection Only On The Holy Wagon When Necessary"
Too funny😅
Good job Steve MORRIS! A lot of people love origin stories! Definitely one of my favorite cars.
yep, I started watching after he connected with Cleetus. LOVE the backgorund stories! Makes me appresiate the work even more.
The glory days of Milan’s heads up series. Your car and Chris’s truck were always my favorites to watch as a teenager. Sure do miss them days
Time flies when you're having fun. Hard to believe that the catastrophic blow up was only two years ago. As Always, May God Bless you and yours! 😇
Yes, the removable quarters are pure genius and uber cool, but for me, nothing beats the steering column. It makes me smile every time I see you unclip it and swing it sideways.
Cameron Johnson race cars is building a kit for sale now because they have had so many requests for the move able steering
@bendaves77 Yeah, I've seen the set-up in "Eagle", it's a good design, but somehow not as cool as the Wagon's.
@@timtheveg WITHOUT THE
" sheep bleeps, duck plucks and quacks, bad mother trucker mix ins, of course!!!! Couldn't have a pastors BLESSED CAR without a few "Scotch blessings" flying around when things go sideways!!!!
This is the coolest build! That swivel out steering column is so sweet!! 🎉
Strange how simply stumbling on your channel years ago just to see how far things have come since our days of drag racing back in the 80's had come, to watching every Steve-Tech video, to getting hooked on Dewey's adorable personality, to watching the wagon go through the evolution and buying some merchandise to help lessen the pain on repairing the wagon, to where it is today. It's been both entertaining and educational so thanks for sharing so much with so many; even those of us that don't plan on racing again, Steve. Cheers!
Thanks it's always cool to see a car be transformed like the wagon
you cant park here! was priceless. cheers Val❤💯
I started to watch this channel back in late 2021 and never noticed the improvements in video and audio quality until i watched this video. The channel has come a long way, and I'll continue on not missing a signle video
Steve, I admire the self-control of your anger and language.
Thanks for the backstory !
How time flies. The Old boost Master still rocks with Her SMX. I remember when you showed Her after the 9 years. She shined with Glory as She still does. Thank you for all the great Videos
Can't believe it's already been 2 years since all the rods left the motor... time is flyin
"Caution" -- Miles of Morris Smiles -- never gets old.
I have watched this channel so long I remember when you raced import and domestic and when the rods exploded I can't believe that was 2 years ago and when you had converter issues and checking the temps on them
That was a fun look back. A little over two years ago must have been right about the time I started watching. I think it was the Big Block for Mullet when I first found your channel.
Love your attitude Steve. Just keep it going forward, no matter what! You cannot rise to the top in any industry without running across a few bumps in the road!!
I’m glad you mentioned the brakes ,was wondering what you found out,,,,and how you fixed the problem….🇺🇸😎
Me too, can't wait for that video 👍
@@TheSteve1175will include me I wonder if TBM brakes gave him a better master cylinder
@@chief3378 He said recenu he*s getting pro mod parachutes to make him stop without using brakes.
Same, came here to ask if he has already figured out what went wrong
@@davidtaylor3094 He's still going to need functioning brakes
Saw ya first day dragweek 2005. Every pass, back window popped open. Mutha truckin awesome
You are 100% right about the bias ply cars being the fastest. What I see as the problem these days, is that those who put on the events, cater to the radial cars and it's all radial prep. Just look at the struggles Lutz had during Sick Week 2024. There should be more classes, even smaller tire stuff, that demands bias ply tires.
For Sick Week, one lane is prepped for slicks and the other lane is prepped for radials.
Brett Lasalla might beg to disagree.
@@danmyers9372
Show me him run a 5.77 or a 5.99.
@@danmyers9372 Agree or disagree doesn't matter. Facts are facts. What Brett has accomplished is AMAZING, but he is not the overall fastest ever.
Thanks for being so transparent, and honestly representing reality racing! Love your videos!
Steve you turned those rods to dust bud. I'm still as amazed this time as I was the original video.
Wagon wheelies are AWSOME ❤❤
This was an awesome episode thanks for sharing how the evolution of this wagon is going. Can't wait to see how it goes this year
Steve: your attitude is something I wish to make my own. Always upbeat, taking the disasters one at a time, and constantly moving forward. I feel like I know you, and that is a major positive in my life. My drag racing days are over and am having a blast living vicariously thru you, your wife, and son!
like the 2nd amendment sign in trailer ....... Thanks for Sharing 👍👍✌
Your ability to bounce back from problem after problem is amazing.
Start to finish, Racetrack, Postings, the evolution is a pleasure to witness & by that, I also feel the inclusion aspect few offer upon their Channel...Thankyou..🛠️
*INCLUSION, thank you!*
I haven't heard that word used in the moving picture show industry in decades; that feeling used to be the holy grail of production - from the Producer, Writer, and Director all the way through the Engineers, post production team of Editor(s), and ideally into marketing. Hopefully they/it will cycle back to that art instead of the cheap and easy trauma-drama (drauma?) that it's devolved into. Reminded me of my stint in it some 35-40 years ago at the cusp of crossing into all-things 100% digital.
*Interest, Involve, Conclude* (ish)
Awesome transformation and can't wait too see when u got it all dailed in. Stil 1 bad ass mother trucker 🎉❤❤
Keep up the hard work. 💪
I truly appreciate you showing the good and the bad. It shows the dedication, hard work & let's face it...some stubbornness. Big Fan & long time wagon lover.
Actually crazy, I didn't realise how long I've been following you until this video, time has flown by!
Always enjoy your analysis!!Cant wait to see the wagon do 5:99
Awesome video, Steve! Loved the history of the wagon.
Excellent video. No matter what happens, you never lose your cool or quit. That is awesome, just saying.
Thanks for another great video 👍
I didn't realize the current incarnation of wagon was only revealed in '22.
I didn't realize you were using the Stanley Cup for your rear wheels.
It is great to see the evolution of the wagon. I know that you have figured out the brake situation. It would be nice if they made "emergency brakes" for your car. Might make it more dangerous in the long run. At least you did not crash. Good luck and God Bless.
Thanks for blessing us with another great video
Props for controlling your language when you lost your brakes. That took a lot of self control! Kudos to you for not playing the blame game over broken parts as well. Race cars and or parts don't come with warranty for a reason, we push until we find their limits!
Great story on your wagon!
The slow-motion tire videos are really interesting
Look back at that video
There is more
That crankshaft should be installed in every wood chipper LoL
OMG those confetti rods!
I remember the Procharged wheelie wagon days well. But the Thanos Rod snap was one of if not the most impressive engine self destruction events. I know it's all part of the game and I'm glad you keep the wagon moving forward.
Pretty cool. Kinda makes me want to pick my project back up after sitting for four years now.
2022 when you unveiled the big tire wagon is when I found your channel haven't missed a video since
Bad ass of bad assery
Always a great time, your videos have been getting better and better. Looking forward to the Brake video and of course the NMCA coverage. You're gonna have to step it up with Vals car getting an SMX soon, she's gonna be a real challenger for you.
That was so cool to get to see it from the beginning. Thanks for sharing. Great video. Love the Boostmaster ll
I love c where u started till now it is absolute the best. Love watching u I learned so much I would have never known. I just a self learned just getting my hands greasy
What a great throwback! 7.50’s like a bracket car with low 1.1x 60’! Damn!
I've seen you run many years ago at an invitation only event here in Wisconsin. I was there watching Jim p who i was rooting for, his shop is two blocks from my house. You did kick his butt that weekend but that was great fun even if you're a Chevy guy. As a trucker your wife is right when you say mother t it hurts inside. Thank you brother for all the inside info I am enjoying the ride. 🇺🇸💯🇺🇲 Jesus is Lord
Love all the pride u all have in the evolution of this car.and to be honest it's grown on me .I do love this hotrod .I'm always excited to see the next video love the dyno stuff as well but nothing like the wagon at the track .
Thanks for being an awesome guy
Can't wait to see it in the winners circle!
Well I can't wait for the next video on the fixing of the brakes plus I like the back history of the wagon and how far it has evolved
Man for some reason I thought this was someone else’s wagon and story. I was so wrong. This was you an hour wagon and maybe the best video I’ve ever seen. He’ll ya guys
Can't wait to hear about the brakes, glad to hear you got it figured out.
...still keepin' it real - love this guy !...
🎯🔫💯
WOW 😲😲😲🧐🙄💰💰💰
Thats an official grenaded motor right there Steve
Quite the evolution. Thanks for being a good guy!
You kept your composure well for having no brakes at over 200mph into the sand. I dont think they could publish what I would be saying haha
I was literally wondering just the other day how this car started out lol. Thanks Steve you read my mind lol
Great history video. Fills a few blanks for me anyway. Cannot wait for the cause of the brake fail and the effect of bigger chutes on the slowdown. Keep on truckin!
Well brother after all the R&D youve done. You really haven't had to many pray to god moments ..
Not a single rod still connected to the crank is priceless.
I was going to recommend you call the pastor and ask him to say a few prayers for the ol grocery getter. 😅😅😅😅
Because shes had a few bad days that looked like Satan might of had his fingers involved. 😅😅😅😅🙏🙏🙄
But it seems your back on track now.
You have the ol sled almost airborne now at 211 mph. Fastest wagon ive ever seen. Looks awesome Steve. Like the nice modification to the rear quarter panels to access those monster wheels.
Looks like its no more tire shake. 💪💪👍👍
Great work. Great video. Can't wait to see the hydroplnes. Thats our sport. Used to be anyway. Costs to much to put on a race in Florida anymore. No one wants to make the drive. Used to set records here in stuart FL in the 70s . Packed crowds.
Memories anymore!!
Great journey and great work
Great history lesson ; much appreciated. Keep going you are oh so close to getting the " Wagon " totally dialed in. Many thanks.
So long story short: the wagon was always there and always awesome. Okay, got it! 😁🤘
I only first saw the car on a drag and drive event where you stopped by kevin smith's shop to put a transmission in and did a burnout on your exit. GM guy's meet so many new friends during transmission swaps😂😂. Your name has been infamous with drag race engines since i was a teenager
Awesome to see the evaluation of the wagon and Steve 😂
I was waiting for "you can't park that there", when Steve went into the sand trap last month.
Awesome sauce! Thanks for putting this video together.
YOU HAVE A GREAT DAY TOO, STEVE MORRIS. THE WAGON IS AWESOME, I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU GO A 5. ALL THE BEST, FROM STEVE IN GREAT BRITAIN.
Keep on pushing brother!!! Your car is badass and your engines are freaking badder!!!
Hello Steve
It's been a long journey . Moderation flies out the window sometimes. Thank you for sharing your videos and thoughts.

Great video Steve!!!
Being the baddest Wagon on the planet, isn’t an easy task!!
I too, love wagons, especially yours!!
Great job SME!!
wow What a Journey Pleasure to have been along for the ride...
I came across your channel from the disintegrated conrods video. Been watching ever since. 👍
Holy shit Steve😮 GREAT VIDEO 👍
Steve, I love your videos compared to guys like yourself. I am an amateur engine guy but I love what I learned from your videos and it’s so cool to see somebody like yourself humble enough to share when things don’t go good so we can learn from that stuff.
Very cool video. Really enjoyed the time line of videos. Keep the great videos coming. Rex in NZ.
First, the video person is outstanding!!
Second, I love the details and most of all your journey

Great video. Beautiful car.
Honestly just thought the wagon had been in promod form forever. Cool video cool to see the evolution
Excited to see you run the 1/4 WITH breaks and no smoke, fire or wall! Looking for 5's outta you !
The history
Lesson of the wagon is great !
Steve and family, y'all rock! Peace
I may never be able to afford the SMX that I would love to have …. But a guy can dream and live vicariously through y’all :) thanks for all the explanations and experiences that you share with us Steve !! It for sure is one heck of a rollercoaster ride !!
What a ride! Thanks Morris family!
Good refresher course, interesting to see it all summed up
The run at osw where u tapped the wall made me a fan of that wagon. I was at the event
Great content history of the Wagon. Enjoying your videos Steve.
