Red rot disease management in sugarcane crop |Abid Ali Agrarian
In this video, I will briefly explain the symptoms, etiology and control measures or management tactics of a very serious disease of sugarcane crop that is red rot fungal disease.
It is soil borne fungal disease. Main symptoms of red rot disease are reddening in sugarcane vascular bundles. Midrib of leaves shows red spots and dryness of leaves or sugarcane are also main symptoms of red rot disease in the sugarcane field.
Red rot disease management:
Healthy seed, disease resistant variety and seed treatment with fungicide before seed sowing are the tips to control or manage this disease in the sugarcane field.
