Robin Williams is a legend for being one of the funniest guys ever. But his dramatic performances are just as powerful as his funny ones.
I don’t understand why people dislike this movie. I’ve always loved it and cry every time I watch it!
IM SO HAPPY TO SEE A MORE RECENT REACTION TO THIS MOVIE!!! This movie needs to be seen by everyone!!!! It's so unnecessarily underrated!!!!
My heart always breaks at the end, he worked so hard to be acknowledged as human, just to die before hearing it happen. Breaks my heart every time.
No one reacts to this movie but everyone should watch it. Glad you did
Robin Williams, legend 💘 One of the best actors ever. This movie 🥰 I cried SO MUCH
This is a very underrated movie, but Myself and my the rest of my family adore it. Hope you do as well.
If youre smart and see this you wont forget it. Its my favorite movie he made still (acted in)
This was my favorite film growing up, Robin Williams was so well casted
The father didn't realise what he was doing after the daughter and the window incident.
He told the family to treat Andrew as if he was an actual person, not a household appliance.
It started something in his CPU, a sort of revolution of self. He's already self-aware, he is becoming sentient! He's not supposed to have emotions, but interactions with the family are causing them to develop. The father took the time to accept what was happening and encourage Andrew to question, to learn not as a binary sequence, but as memory; an experience. Watching these scenes all through the movie where they actually enjoy his little personality quirks, seeing him grow as a person, as he becomes Andrew Martin.
Robin Williams played this character flawlessly.
I believe it started prior to the father telling the family to treat Andrew as if he was an actual person. I believe it was the fall that miss caused telling Andrew to jump out the window that caused a short circuit resulting in the way his system is able to process things, sort of like an unintentional upgrade.
@@darkdg4106 Most likely the fall jarred some circuits together to form some kind of synapses that led to Andrew developing emotions.
Such an amazing movie another Robin Williams hit he was such a legend
Yes finally some people reacting to this Legendary Masterpiece hidden gem 💎 RIP Robin Williams 😢
I always considered "Bicentennial Man" one exceptional film and wondered if anyone would react to it. Enjoyed seeing you share your emotions. Another movie that you will enjoy that goes back to 1996 is titled "Phenomenon" features John Travolta and music from Eric Clapton. it wil be a very nice surprise for you.
One is glad to be at service.
Or as I remember from my childhood: Isto fica feliz em ser útil. (I watched this movie soooo many times dubbed in Portuguese, that's my first time hearing Robin say it hahah)
technically the same case, i suppose
As soon as I saw this thumbnail I couldn’t click fast enough .. this is one of my top 10 films .. I love this .. I knew you would need tissues .. I always do .. every time .. beautiful reaction .. thank you xx
Glad you enjoyed it!
I remember not long before his death Robin Williams visited koko the gorilla who knew ASL and at the time she was in mourning for her mate Michael and hadn't smiled in months. When he visited it was the first time she laughed and played she had watched his movies for most of her life so she recognised him even signing his name say funny, laugh, tickle etc. When she was told he died she kept signing cry, sad and even no why ?. She went into mourning again afterwards. It was so sad then unfortunately a couple of years later she sadly passed . He loved his time with her and the footage is truly beautiful to watch. Robin was truly a very special man and a master of his craft and all of his work is flawless from comedy to drama and thrillers his work is truly untouchable.
I adore this film, but it's so underappreciated. Thank you for sharing your reaction.
Never seen it but will check it out.
Love to you beautiful lady from my mom and I in So. Cal USA 🇺🇸 you are amazing! Keep up the amazing work!
Greetings and love to all reading this! ❤️❤️👏🙏
Ahh the distant future of 2005, back when I too got my robot butler, I remember it so well...
Dr alan grant was great in this too 😂
I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!!!!!!
A beautiful reaction ❤. This I one of my most nostalgic movies 😊
I saw the full movie for the first time last week. I saw parts of it when I was a child but I never saw the full movie. Once I finally did, I literally cried a lot after seeing the ending. It was an amazing movie. Robin Williams is a legend.
Always loved this movie and robin williams in more serious roles
Rip comedy legend
A childhood favorite! One of my first bittersweet movie experiences! 😭👍👍
You're not the only one, I also cried at the end as well... It's a really good film and I really like the music...
You tune in into fun Robin William film, you get that but you also get impressive study what it means to be human and quest for humanity. Truly under rated gem in Robin Williams' resume.
I love this movie and the music, so underrated!
Powerful.
The chair lady/president of the world congress at the end of the movie was Lynne Thigpen, aka "The Chief" from Where in the world/Where in time is Carmen San Diego? Great lady, Rip Chief
11:36 You’re laughing now, but wait until you actually HAVE TO have “the talk.”
This movie is sad enough but knowing Robin is gone due to suicide makes it much more so. RIP
I always hated how they made the son a jerk in this movie, because in the novel the entire family cared about Andrew, and the Lloyd was his lawyer, helping him get rights.
One of my favourite Robin Williams movies, I'm glad you reacted to it! 🙂
Another underrated one of his is 'The World according to Garp' from 1982 based on a novel by John Irving.
On a side note: The exchange of bodily fluids is indeed: rather messy! 😅
This film is so good :-) How is the HP reading going? Not seen a video in some time.
this and Flowers for Algernon are two of my all time favorites
My favorite Robin Williams movie!!! The old age makeup at the end is the best I've ever seen. Definitely a movie that explores humanity at it's finest!!!
One of the good Issac Asimov movies.
😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Thank you for sharing your reaction! I love this movie so much, and Robin Williams is a treasure. Even the the music is beautiful
One of my favorite movies of all time! You should react to "Meet Joe Black", "Powder", "Stepmom", "Michael" (starring John Travolta) and "Phenomenon' (starring John Travolta).
Hello! Watched this movie as a child, when I was 6 years old
Everyone in this movie is good actors. Getting Sam in the movie he was from Jurassic Park. And then the little mis the child actor from Paulie. I am afraid I don't know the others very well.
This movie is a golden treasure that too many have never even heard of.
I thank you for watching it with us :)
A beautiful and genuine reaction ❤
His programing changed when he jumped out the window.. that's what I think.
One of my favorite films! We could all hope for such a great ending.
Thank you for seeing this movie for what it is...beautiful.
One of my favorite movies. Chris Columbus brought so many memories with this home alone and the first two Harry Potter movies
Great reaction ❤
Thank you for this reaction
I just love this film. It beautifully done. Wonderful reaction ❤❤
!?!HELLO.... This My Dear is a GOOD MOVIE, a HAPPY MOVIE & Has a Happy Ending....? Why Do I Believe That You May Cry Several TIMES During IT...?
Loved that movie...
It reminds me why i wanted to go to a cinema and cry...and laugh...and feel.
no Andrew was not supposed to have feelings but he learned making him unique such a great study on what it means to be human even we have not learned anything about such a thing as humanity
What a beautiful movie and reaction.
I cried seven times
This movie was amazing.
I think this movie is far more superior to "A.I".
Regarding the ending, I think Andrew heard it. If you can see Andrew's face in the last scene, he was smiling.
This is a brilliant movie with a powerful message about exploring humanity. It is based on the 1992 novel "The Positronic Man" by Isaac Asimov and Robert Silverberg (which is itself based on Asimov's original 1976 novelette "The Bicentennial Man").
Robin Williams was perfect for the role of Andrew. Personally, I think he was even better as an actor than as a stand up comic. I first noticed his exceptional acting skills in an underrated movie called "Moscow on the Hudson". RIP Robin Williams.
beautiful!
Again, I woukd love for you to see Patch Adams with Robin. It is a beautiful movie
This is a great movie. I watched it once as a child with my family and it was so emotional & sad I hadn’t watched any of it since.
I miss Robin so so much.
There's a Japanese story about a baker that buys an assistant robot and falls in love with it. The marriage is in all the papers and folks are split on their feelings but he doesn't care. As 'she' ages her system starts to wear out and he's offered a replacement drive to bring here back to new, but he refuses as it would wash out all her history with him. Slowly she starts to break down in a sort of Alzheimer way, where he now takes care of her. In a moment of danger she has just enough of her self left to push him out of the way of a speeding vehicle, taking the impact herself. It is just one of the stories of this same sort, titled CHOBITS.
Galactea is a robot!
ok...
This is an amazing movie! Bless you!
One of my top 3 movies! I watched it more than 40 times and every time its like de first....I recomended you My name is Khan if you don't watched yet...Love your reactions ❤
Such a wonderful movie ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
One of my favorites as a kid. If you want a sad/scary one, I suggest A.I. (2001).
IMHO This movie is wonderful, one of the best by Robin Williams especially in view of his tragic end. Unfortunately, it is terribly underrated. It is one of the last of its kind. Note the time of release, one year before the turn of the century and the terrible dystopian times we currently live in.
Christmas is coming! Be sure to watch "Noel" with Susan Sarandon and Robin Williams. A wonderful feel good Christmas movie with an all star cast. I am not aware of anyone reacting to it yet.
Great reaction, well done.
So beautiful movie
Thanks, Kemi! 🤖 I love this one so much. I read the story by *Isaac* *Asimov* in college and it made me cry... this movie came out 13 years later and it made me cry, too. #SCENEcrlyKSO #ChrisColumbus #BicentennialMan
Do more AI movies ^^
We do have a very limited time to enjoy because we do die but at the same time there was a lot of time where we're tired before we go to sleep and then there is all the time that we are sick or when our minds betray us and make us unhappy the good times are very short are people I have to go to work and don't really want to be at work have to appreciate all the short happiness as there is in life
I Love Robin Williams this is the power and testament Comedy can be many different things this is a emotional tale Like Adam sandlers "Click" good movie (you should watch ) it doesnt always have to be slapstick Oliver platt Who was also in 2012 and Chicago Med is great in this as well he is also In Xmen First Class anything he is in is pretty much damn good !!!!!!!!
I watched Click dear
@@ScenecrlyK.S.O. I just saw !!!!! my bad love it
Asimov is one of the greatest fiction writers, but God knows why, almost none of his work has been screened!! the rare exceptions simply take the title of the corresponding work, and start with writing nonsense (example - I the Robot, with Will Smith)blcentennial man, however, is another thing! a perfect adaptation, and development of the book's ideas and plot.
This movie is one of my favorites, always remember it as the firts time I watched it with ma mom
24:35 the search Andrew does is so moving, in a way we do the same but with less time in hand 🥲
