You can use any semi transparent paper as the screen. The inverted image of the object is because of the rays of light entering through the tiny hole. Emm... Can't explain properly but there's physics behind the reason, i will need a diagram to explain that. If you are a student, you will learn about the reason in physics..

you can use frosted glass or matted screen protector to project the image, the lens that can be used is fresnel lens that can be found in 3d viewer
