I would say start out with headlights, color match, and wheels and tires. That will make a huge difference!

That's a nice looking truck. I have a 00 Z71 that's in great shape but has a bunch of miles on it. So I'm going down the list cleaning it up. I just got done rebuilding the engine, and it's back in. Next will be a tranny rebuild, then lift kit. My goal is to make it look good obviously lol but I want to trust it to make trips from AZ to FL and MI. 👍🇺🇲

How did you get the steering wheel to swap over? I already got a single stage airbag, just curious how you got it to fit to the column
I had to a swap the whole column. The air bag will not work or Atleast i haven’t tried to. Use the newer column and swap over all the wiring.
@@ACHUNTTV I got the airbag out of a express van so it has the single plug to fit with the older truck but ig I’ll have to shop for a column, love the truck man!

413PL i did it all my self so i was just our paint and materials. I’m not sure what brand it was but it’s single stage colormatch that i got from the paint store.

Adam Smith a whole steering wheel and column out of a 03-07 classic. Then your gonna want to swap your harness of your old column. Only thing about it is the airbag will not work because it’s a different system and i haven’t experimented with it lol and don’t plan to

Dat Boy I agree on the solid color, I did the bed liner on the bottom for several reasons though. I might change up the grille eventually but im rolling with what i have for now.

Colton pearson Yes you are correct. I have not yet got to the front diff yet after re gearing the rear to 4:56s. Yes is is on my todo list but not at the top of it. I’ll get to it one day I’m focusing on other things right now. It’s not like i need the driveshaft or anything lol because i really take it Offroad all the time.
