The average quality of their songs may have slightly deteriorated over the years, but 3 minutes like this still remind us what this magnificent band is....great!!!!!
I don't thing the quality of their songs has deteriorated over the years, not even slightly. All the tracks on their last album (Songs of Experience) are brilliant - the songwriting, the sublime riffs, the arrangements ..... and all this after 40 years together. A few bands may dream of being near to them but none will ever surpass. On recorsd and in concert, they are exceptional. Peace, love and democracy.
@@Mark-334 This reminds me of their 90's period when they were so creative. Their last 2 albums apart from a couple of good songs the rest are just average. Look forward to their next record, hopefully it's as great as All that you can leave behind or No line on the horizon which were in my humble opinion their last great albums.

Popmart and the Pop album was U2 at its peak, back when they had balls, back when they were an alternative band instead of U2 from 2000 onwards now a commercial mainstream actual pop act with no magic left, middle of the road music from then but back in 97-99 they had a pair and released music that sounds more modern than their new music, Popmart was a magical tour, U2 have lost something, not just Bono's voice being shot but tbf to them they are pensioners now so sadly they won't or are incapable of the likes of Moro, they've had flashes of their old greatness but going to a U2 gig now is like watching the antique roadshow, regardless, blessings from Dublin to you all, maybe some of you still get it but true fans know what I'm on about yeh 🇮🇪🙏

True fans...ok. More like moved on fans. Pop is ok to me, but hardly my favorite of their work. I hate when fans make these claims. It doesn't speak to you, but it speaks to me.
