- Agent Rick Dicker, file 93718. The files of the National Supers Agency are hearby sealed in accordance with the Superhero Restriction Act, banning all supers activity. These files contain highly classified information regarding the supers, their powers, weaknesses, and in some cases their secret identities. Despite the government's insistence that this ban is permanent, these files should still be treated with the utmost secrecy and respect.

Number 1 rule with Super outfits, NO CAPES!
+Relevant Anger I know, after looking at these on my DVD last night, I rewatched the Kronos revealed scene to see if Everseer survived...he didn't.....
I then wondered why Syndrome tested his robot on superheros whose powers obviously only affected organic beings. Like, seriously... what the heck?
Relevant Anger it kind of creeps me out a little
This movie was always a part of me so in parts of this movie where there was a lot of peril I would actually be kinda scared but then again I saw this when I was about three for the first time
The fact that they’ve had hidden backstories for all these heroes all this time blows my mind. Kinda disturbs you once you realize most of them died really graphic deaths. In a kid’s movie.

Hearing Gazerbeam could never look someone in the eye without intentionally bursting them into flames is actually extremely sad and dark to hear especially when he started talking about relationships.
It makes his stoic personality more understandable too. He would literally be putting people at risk by getting too close to them (in both the physical and emotional sense), so he keeps his distance, and few people ever get to see the true hidden depths beyond the surface. It’s all so very sad. The poor guy never asked to have superpowers.

@BlockyP good Theory. Since he took out the omnidroid before that one killed him syndrome probably made the 5000 just for gazerbeam

Even as a kid I thought that these were incredibly eerie.
Almost everyone here died a violent, painful death or just straight up disappeared.
*shivers*
Yea, even their broken slash missing audio files...
What makes it even worse is that agent Dicker probably knew most of these heroes on some kind of personal level during the glory days (heck, he was there at Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl’s wedding) and helped the ones who lived long enough to see the Superhero Relocation Act get settled into their new lives. Then at some point, he would have figured out they went missing, and were presumed dead. This had to have hurt him terribly, and probably contributed to his dour demeanor throughout the movie. He wasn’t just being a grumpy old man, he wanted to protect Bob, Helen and their family from the fate of other supers the NSA had promised, and failed, to look out for.
@@zeitgeist5024 Strongly agreed, those gave me the most chills, yet I found those files the most intriguing.

They put detailed observations of their powers and voice actors that match what the observations say. I like that.

Reading this and you probably had an idea of how Syndrome defeated them, and how Nomanisan Island turned out to be a perfect place for him to carry out his plan.
Apogee: The rainforest on the island got too dense for her that blocked the sunlight, or it simply grew dark during storms or at night.
Blazestone: Nomanisan Island is... well, an island. An Omnidroid probably forced her into the sea, rendering her abilities useless.
Downburst: His inexperience probably means that he can't actually reshape an Omnidroid to defeat it or defend himself.
Everseer and other psychic/telepathic superheroes: It is possible that they figured out Syndrome's true intentions so they could've been killed upon first contact with Mirage, only to be shown in a way that seems like an Omnidroid got them. Also I can't imagine how Everseer, being germaphobic as he was, could bear the environment of Nomanisan Island. A hilarious downfall for Psycwave could be similar to the end of TDK from Suicide Squad.
Gamma Jack: The fifth version of Omnidroid probably weren't prepared to stand his radiation burst, so in the next version Syndrome found a way to combat this.
Gazerbeam: The fourth version of Omnidroid wasn't exactly spherical so his lasers won't reflect, but starting from the fifth version we see them developing to a distinctive spherical body design that would refelct his lasers. If you look closer to the final version you could see some modularized armor plates that probably work as reflectors as well.
Hypershock: He would be powerless when surrounded by non-solid material, so lava and water could be his downfall despite initial success.
Marcoburst: An Omnidroid forced him into some volcanic caves as seen in the movie that triggered his claustrophobia and got him.
The Phylange: A volcanic cave could turn his sonic abilities against him through echoes, or a prolonged fight made laryngits disabled his abilities.
Stormicide: Being "like a sponge" near a volcano is dangerous. She probably aborbed too much hydrogen sulfide unintentionally.
Universal Man: Like said in 23:31 his abilities are unstable when he, say, tried to increase his own density to deliver a punch to an Omnidroid.
Actually, universal man was killed off easily due to an ambush by omnidroid version X1.
I’m surprised he could even die at all.
Counterpoint for the reflective material:
It seems to work more like the plating on a stealth fighter jet, absorbing and redistributing the energy. Just take a look at when Syndrome hits the V10 Omnidroid with the zero point energy. It doesn't go anywhere.

Want my advice? Forget it. It’s not happening because Disney has become too woke and Democratic to answer fans’ wishes. Case in point: Star Wars. Don’t get me wrong, the shows are incredible!! They really add detail to the Original trilogy. But the sequels are just awful.
You know... Watching dead superhero list from original movie after that feels really, really dark... Don't get me wrong. That scene where Mr Incredible watch how much superhero died in development of Omnidroid series is brutal all by itself, but now... Pixar made every superhero alive, with their own phobias or characters. Each reacted differentely to their superhero career, and that file was kinda downer, considering how things turned out to be in the movie. Man, this movie is dark...
Also, Thunderhead sounds like a nice guy. A little slow, but kind and caring
As a 17 year old who has watched the Incredibles since it came out, I have finally learned to appreciate the tension and emotion of that scene when he finds out the fate of the supers at Syndrome's base. My wish for Incredibles 2 is for it to play out as being more serious than what the trailers suggest. What if the villain played a huge role in getting the supers banned originally, or if he secretly worked with Syndrome to kill all the supers? Maybe he was the architect for all of the omnidroids.
considering what happened in the sequel, that last theory is actually plausible.

@@zmr3352 The implication is that he did have a hand in it... a man who hero-worshipped these people had a major role in their extinction. It basically reframes his actions in the movie as an attempt to make up for his mistakes.
You have to appreciate Brad Bird’s/Pixar’s dedication to the point they made all these unique personalities and affiliations with each other(like downburst disliking frozone since has a crush on blazetone).
I think it's par for the course in developing backstory. Backstory helps them flesh out what you see and hear in the actual film.
Dogman15 I agree, but all we needed to know about the supers was that they existed, they were banned, and syndrome killed a lot of them. So it’s still nice they gave us this.
Yes I agree. Most people likely wouldn’t even know the difference if these files were included or not, I doubt anyone would be clamoring for something like this if it didn’t exist. You only dedicate this much time and effort to a side project that maybe 5% of your viewers will see and care about if you really love what you do, and it’s obvious Brad Bird loved what he was doing with the Incredibles. He didn’t have to do this, but he wanted to. It was his passion.

I really hated that all these heroes didn’t have any screen time in the incredibles I hated that syndrome killed off a lot of these best superheroes.
Jordan Bass Gazerbeam was at the wedding
Alejo Fornaroli yep well aleast him and the other supers attended his wedding. But later in the movie didn’t have no screen time except when Edna mention about the other supers died because of their capes
Jordan Bass
They could bring some of them back by having them have faked their deaths or something
ELEMENTAL DELTA yep especially gazerbeam because I always knew he probably fake his death even tho his corpse was in the water were syndrome almost killed mr incredible but he survive under the name kronos
Jordan Bass no. Not at all dude.
13:03 in a deleted scene from Incredibles 2, Mr. Incredible talks about Gazer Beam at his memorial service and the character he describes sounds exactly like the one here! Crazy that they kept it consistent with this
I truly love that they added THIS much bonus material for the murdered Superheros. They didn't HAD to since the scene where Bob finds out about their fates was already one emotional gut punch, and yet they still released this bonus material to REALLY drive home the morality of Syndromes horrific actions.
The Incredibles did such an amazing job at making all the heros and villains *human* first and their role second but unfortunately because of the time restrictions we couldn't get to know the other Heros within the movie itself. Sure we still FEEL the horrific nature of them being killed off in masses but not in the same gravity as it could have been. And THIS is what this bonus material is supposed to make up for. To REALLY let us know the tragedies of the human lives that were taken by Syndrome.
It may be fictional but the idea of what this actually is supposed to BE is unbelievably heavy. So many of them were murdered by Syndrome and Lucius (Frozone) was initially meant to be taken out next and was only spared because Mirage identitied Bob beside him. Good chance that this is even the reason why Syndromes Island and the Roboter fight incorporated vulcanos so much. It may have been specifically chosen to put Lucius at max disadvantage as it was set up at the beginning of the movie with the burning building scene?
I bet Violet would be disgusted by her mom's constant "wardrobe malfunctions".
Then you can hear her laughing.. 😂😂😂
Meta Man is so friggin OP. Magnetic manipulation, partial invisibility, AND teleportation on top of regular superman powers, with 3/6 bars maxed out?
I guess the intelligence bar makes up for it. The lord giveth, the lord taketh.
George Ashburton So far, he has been ranked the strongest known super. It's pretty stupid how he died after his caps was snagged in an elevator shaft.

“Who knows. Maybe someday these kids will be able to help people again. I sure hope so.”
*FUCK!* THAT JUST BROKE MY HEART. 🥺😩
No one talks about this line, I can't imagine how Dicker feels, considering all but 3 supers on this list have met terrible fates
Same here, Rick was depressed. The fact NSA was hanging by a thread til The Incredibles came back from hiding? Made him feel alive again but also the sequel was cool as well. I really believe Dash one day gonna be apart of the new NSA when he gets to be a certain age. Hopefully super people will be officially be done with hiding 💯
Gamma Jack seems like the kinda guy who would pull a Magneto.
For when it says Suit Malfunction on some of the supers, I'll explain how it happened...
Dynaguy: His cape was snagged on take off, causing a suit malfunction.
Meta Man: His cape was snagged while lifting an express elevator, causing a suit malfunction.
Splashdown: His cape was sucked into a vortex, causing a suit malfunction (in other words the force of the vortex was so powerful, it killed him).
Stratogale: April 23rd, 1957, her cape was sucked into the jet turbine, causing a suit malfunction (in other words, she was killed because of the sharp blades of the turbine).
Thunderhead: November 15th, 1958, after saving the day once again, his cape was snagged on the rocket and the countdown still continued when it launched, causing a suit malfunction (in other words, he died in the explosion in the sea).
Which is why you must always listen to Edna and her advice.
"NO CAPES!"
Drflash55 For Dynaguy and Splashdown would've got choked to death by their capes.
Stratogale didn't die because of the cape she got sucked in it was not the cape
DeadPool Junior. What you just said doesn't make much sense, grammatically. pixar.wikia.com/Stratogale
Dogman15 the turbine sucked her in, cape or not she was screwed....or grinded to tiny bits and pieces
DeadPool Junior. The cape helped ensure that she got sucked in.
I love this. I liked the fact that some of the heroes are not all charismatic, it makes them feel more like people and adds more dimension to this world.
I like how Downburst is freaking massive and looks like a pro wrestler with a razor chin, but he has the voice of an 80 pound nerd.
He clearly used his superpowers on himself, like some sort of personal steroid power.
The heroes with the psychic powers are the smartest.
people with capes have the lowest intelligence.
everseer and gazerbeam didn't see eye to eye.
Nightmare he wasn't referring to capes, he was referring to how they both have eye powers
Everseer literally looks like a genius speaking. Lol
Nightmare he wasn't
@Bennie Daniels Good example but that’s a different universe or dimension
@@jackstuhley1745 ever seer has mind power which in my opinion makes him a psychic wizard
Splashdown's file says "Missing In Action", not "Died In Action". In other words, they never found his body. That's kind of sad.
Wasn't he the one sucked by the tornado? I think it would've been impossible to find the body.
Damn, that last sentence hurt to write...
it would be interesting if he ended up marooned on an island.
@@anthonyluetmer8499 Perhaps the island Syndrome sent the heroes to?
@@LoganBearDad nah i was thinking a different Island. i think there could be slight chance he's still alive

I like how Hypershock literally tells you everything on the list while you're reading it, all the way down to as soon as you read "Bad Temper" and "Fondness for Drink" he's going off about how he wants coffee with aspirin and how lackluster their coffee makers are.
Another thing I'd like to add is how heartbreaking it feels when instead of another super going through the motions of the interview starts talking to you, Rick Dicker says something along the lines of "Audio File Incomplete." And you just go; "Oh no" in your head.
@@Nobody_Important123him saying “Audio file incomplete” makes me sad
Thunderhead really stands out. Even though he wasn’t murdered by Syndrome, his death via cape accident is just as tragic. From what we see of his file, he’s clearly mentally disabled, can’t read, and wasn’t understood at school on account of his disability. He was trying to give kids something to believe in, which he never had. Plus, he had five adopted children to look after with his boyfriend, and when he died, imagine how that affected them?
Especially me!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who could read the subtext in "his roommate, scott".

Gazerbeam seems to be influenced by both Cyclops and Daredevil. I mean, his power set is a watered-down version of Cyclops, but his occupation is that of a lawyer who takes low-paying cases, a la Matt Murdock. Interesting thing to note.
He looks like rob cop l
Gazerbeam is alive in the Lego game
I thought this was SO cool as a child. Hearing it now as an adult does really make a huge difference now that you understand most things. This was peak Pixar in my opinion and I am impressed with how much effort was put into small things like this.
Fun fact: Universal Man is actually a reference to Arnold Schwarzenegger because of his title as Mr. Universe which he won when he was a bodybuilder, his heavy Austrian accent and the sound of barbells clanking in the background of his audio file
Considering how Elastigirl said "You don't want me playing for any other team, do you?" she sounded like as if she's threatening to become communist unless the NSA pays for her action wear.
And after reading your comment, I now have the mental image of Elastigirl spouting communist propaganda, and Mr. Incredible simply reacting with a sigh out of pity.
lol CYKA helen
@HyperAsteroid_ Guy
That would be hilarious.
Out of all the superheroes on here, Elastigirl definitely seems the most likely to turn communist. She’s done with the NSA’s capitalist bureaucracy BS.
One of Elastigirl's weaknesses is cold temperatures - anything below freezing, and she can't stretch without breaking herself (serious, possibly mortal, injury). This weakness isn't listed.
Oh, that's right! Just like Mr. Fantastic or any other character that stretches.
Guateloquendo Did you see Incredibles 2?
I really want to watch it.
Set aside some time to see it while it's still in theaters!
That's just how elasticity is.... It weakens at low temperatures. If we bring up Fantastic 4 into this .... Then at least we should be happy about them using Reed and Sue's powers better than Fox
I remember when Frozone talked about baron von ruthless. But Ruthless sounds like a more terrifying villain than Syndrome. He broke into the agency for the audio logs of supers. He was probably looking for them!
So cool that they did this. What struck me the most is that a great many of these files gave us subtle hints to suggest that most of these supers were capable of being pretty full of themselves whilst simultaneously being a tad short of bright: sure, they had powers, but clearly their intellects and senses of morality were just as human as any non-super.
Helps the viewer to understand a little better why public opinion eventually turned against them en masse.
I sometimes wonder if Splashdown survived. He was sucked into a vortex, but it's also specified his powerset includes breathing underwater (so he couldn't have drowned) and communicating with animal lifeforms (so it's unlikely something like sharks could do him in). The file is also framed as if his body was never found, so who knows.
I always wondered the same.
Broken neck, maybe? Or his file says he was looking for Atlantis, so maybe the vortex washed him up there and he never left?
His body not being found is so grin. On top of that, his audio file was corrupted from water damage. It's honestly very upsetting. He's probably the hero we know the least about.
It really sucks that they all died prior to the events of the movie (besides Mr Incredible, Elastigirl, Frozone and assumedly Plasmabolt - I hope that she and Fironic appear in the sequel).
I'm just really sad that Stormicide died. I like her voice.
Fironic did
Funny that the Supers listed by Edna had notes that were basically "Death by suit malfunction"
Also Stormicide and Gamma jack were still alive right after the 15 year time skip
PendulumFTW Well, you weren’t wrong about Fironic
Gazerbeam sounds so mellow yet inwardly complex. I'd love a short on him or even his relationship with Mr. Incredible. I wonder how he lost to the Omnidroid with that laser vision. My guess is syndrome created a bot impervious to the laser melting.
My guess is that syndrome turned the bot into a giant disco ball since gaserbeams weakness is reflecting surfaces
Syndrome probably modified it so the only thing strong enough to pierce its armor was itself. It was already like this by the time Mr. Incredible fought it the first time, so this must have come from a previous encounter, most likely with Gazerbeam. And, as the other commenter said, he probably also made its surface reflective, knowing that was Gazerbeam’s weakness.
Same.
Mr. Incredible made a speech about him at his funeral, but Pixar had to cut it from Incredibles 2.
Mr.Incredible can sense danger... no wonder why he was able to grab Bomb Voyage without even looking at him
Or the fact he was able to sense his presence in the first place!
I love how Gazerbeam says he has a sense of humor, but the NSA says otherwise.
Oh my gosh. I love Everseer's audio. He is a complete clean freak and I can understand his viewpoint. It's so relatable. Fortunately, I am not as crazy of a germ hater as he is.

I noticed a smart detail while watching this intentional or not. When jack-jack enters the other dimension in "Incredibles 2" you can hear that his voice is slowed down with some other audio effects, and blazestone must've thought she was in this dimension and sped up her talking speed because sound is slowed down in that dimension.

@@dogman15 so true. Best find of 2022 so far for me.
After some deep diving after watching the incredible after so long, it’s nuts to realize how deep and dark this gets after reading over these heroes’s bio and description. And the fact that syndrome himself went and did deep researching on their way of fighting and powers in order to build the droids to eliminate each and every single one of them in the most brutal manner possible, but when one defeats a droid he pulls a lex luthor move and improved upon the mistakes to make the next droid impossible while giving the heroes’s the most unfair advantage in the battlefield. Now I wanna see a tv-14 or mature show on seeing the heroes glory days and their last day when going against the droids
yeah that would be awesome
Nah that would be sad to see 😢

i love how they were able to expand the world so much with dvd extra.
And the dvd extras will surely be missed.
I'd like to have heard what Meta Man had to say. Strange how someone with so many superpowers would did in a suit malfunction (getting his cape snagged). Watching the movie I got the impression Mr. Incredible was the most popular superhero in his day, though Meta Man seems to be more powerful. Whereas most of the heroes have a power based on one particular area; plasma, radiation, ice, stretching. He seemed to have a strange mishmash of powers almost like he selected them.
not to mention his indecisiveness likely played a role in his untimely demise in mission
Incredibles 2 spoilers
He's a poly hero, like Jack Jack.
His threat assessment was the highest of any superhero according to Syndrome's database. Mr Incredible's score was second highest and Gamma Jack was third. Mr Incredible was probably the most popular, but Meta Man had more powers.
It's also implied that supers start with numerous abilities but then "grow into" one. We don't know if Jack-Jack will eventually have 1 power or a multitude of them.
I wanted to hear plasmabolt, she sounds like she'd be the fun, tomboyish older sister of her super team, the phantasmics. And maybe psycwave would be the salty one like Pearl from Steven universe, macroburst could be the insecure, looked-down-on one and everseer could be the leader who just can't deal with everyone.
He was the one man Justice League, did you notice? Of course without Batman.
Thunderhead with his 5 adopted children that he raised with his Roommate Scott is Pixar's subtle way of making lgbt+ character.
This is pretty scary when you think about it. These superheroes died because of Syndrome, and now we hear all of their voices, except a few of them. Looking into the lore of these characters before they died, most of them seemed like decent people. It's crazy that when The Incredibles movie came out, Pixar went through all the trouble to make something like this, to expand on the supers that Syndrome killed. Either way, I really enjoyed this video. This still begs the question to how most of these supers got their powers. Only time will tell to how they got their powers.
