One of my best friends left his job as an attorney in 1997 to move to Russia where he launched dental clinics; they did extremely well and were acquired in 2008. He also met his wife in Russia, who is originally from Chisinau.
I have opened a factory in Moldova and this way of corruption is hell. Get in touch with me and i can tell you my story about corruption, physical treats from government employees and how the ministers do nothing about it.

I have a question about Moldova, though: my understanding is that the regular foreigner looking to live in Moldova is that they are only allowed to buy apartments, and they are NOT allowed to buy a regular house in the countryside or any farmland? So is it true that every foreigner is regulated to buy property in the larger cities? Or can they buy houses and land in the country?
Nice platform. I check out Moldova one day. Retire and start small business , hobbie maybe more. USA to expensive and aggressive. More relaxed atmosphere and life.
I traveled to Chișinău, Moldova last year and had a wonderful time 🇲🇩 The Moldovans are friendly and the monasteries are breathtaking.

Hey! I have not heard of any restrictions for foreigners regarding buying property.
