how to insulate wheel arches camper van

how to neatly insulate campervan wheel arches using closed cell foam . Very often wheel arches are part of campervan interior (after carpeting) and are more or less visible . Van wheel arches are not flat :-) and for these reason good looking insulation are bit more complicated.
Its ducato van but same will be for boxer, relay or ram promaster, similar on Renault Master , bit different on mercedes sprinter because shape of wheel arch -piece of insulation have to be few cm longer and glue have to be really proper.But principles always same.

I was using aluminized foam without the adhesive back. I expected the pre-spraying both the wheel well and foam would require me to work fast and likely end up with stuff stuck where I didn’t want it. And so I cut a section that would cover the entire flat part and glued it down. Then I decided on the proper width for the next piece, folded it up and cut and then sprayed the wheel well in that area only, along with the foam piece and glued it down. It turned out rather well. Although I have more joint lines, each joint has been carefully cut to match the next piece and the width was adjusted to make it the ideal width so it didn’t bulge once glued into place.
I would never have though of this idea so thanks for the clip!!

Your voice would be much easier to hear if you turned off the radio in the background.
I’m assuming that it’s a radio because who would be silly enough to play music in the background if you’re going to give verbal instructions?
