Heard this story before and the last part's so sad.I've had 3 dogs that were so special to me and the last one was just a tiny puppy and would lay on the side of my neck.I was devastated when he died after I had him for 7 years.Love hearing all these stories!! Thanks Cindy!!

I had the pleasure of dog sitting Cocoa one afternoon. My own dog, a blue heeler named Patches, initially growled at her. I was horrified at the idea of my dog and Donny's dog possibly fighting! I separated them and de-escalated the situation. It didn't take too long after that for them to become best friends. What a fun afternoon. I took Cocoa and my little pack of four dogs to the Provo River near my home, and they all enjoyed splashing around in the shallows. Fun memories!
I feel the same way. Pets are like your children.❤

I met Cocoa in Toronto a couple of times. Such a sweet dog. Love dogs so much and totally agree they are part of our family. Cried like a baby when having to put my little Abby down recently too.😢
I can totally understand Donny’s love for his Dog, I love mine so much ( my Babies ) & feel so bad for his loss & grief cause it hurts so bad to lose one but it really rips your heart out to have to make that devastating decision to “ let them go” ( I prefer that term over putting them down ). It is so painful & I had to go thru the same thing with my precious Boston Terrier after Sixteen & A half years & it just about killed me to have to do even tho in my head I knew it was time. She had dementia, could not walk good, had Arthritis & had been Blind for several years & could no longer control bodily functions. She was my “shadow” & loved me so very very much & I loved & adored her. She was so smart & so sweet & if it hadn’t been for my little Chihuahua I would have gone into depression but he is my little light that loves me & adores me & the feeling is mutual. So Donny & anyone else who has been thru losing a FurBaby Family member has my sympathy & love.❤️🐶💙🐕💜🐾🩵😢
I just lost my princess and it was a double tug at my heart because it was the last ty to my parents as well

Exactly my age And I have a cousin with the same name S😮his mother is my godmother and I am named after her Course my name was almost ELLEN long story😮
are there any pictures of his dogs? and do they still have a dog?
@@AENijenhuis I think there are probably some fan photos, but I haven't seen many. I'm not sure Donny has a dog right now, although his kids have shown photos of their dogs.
