Fourteen seats in Karnataka have finished voting in the second phase and the rest will go to polls on May 5. Congress leader and Deputy CM DK Shivakumar spoke to TNM’s editor-in-chief Dhanya Rajendran about the Congress’s poll prospects and slammed PM Narendra Modi for his incendiary remarks. He also said the state will take appropriate action against Karnataka MP Prajwal Revanna, who has reportedly left the country after he was accused of sexual harassment.

He is a worthy opponent of ploy masters like Amit shah and even Modi.
The congress has to accept it. Rahul Gandhi is a really really good leader and a wise man but he lacks the qualities of a shrewd and sharp politician , just like Swargiya shri Lal Bahadur Shastri who was indeed a very good Prime minister but wasn't good in the dirty game of politics.
Although it's visible that Rahul has worked hard upon his image as well as his communication skills to tailor his messages to his audience but he still lacks that sharpness, that rowdy character and the influential voice of a politician.
He should have people like DK shivkumar, Sachin pilot and Priyanka Gandhi by his side .
If the congress is able to form a government then DK shivkumar may be an appropriate candidate for the position of the Home minister.
