I honestly am not just rooting for Ankalaev but i honestly believe he will win the title. Jan is definitely no easy task and has so many chances at victory is he does certain things, but Ankalaev is so skilled everywhere and is a very dangerous opponent. May the best man win 🏆

crazy how his only loss is to Paul Craig and getting too comfortable the last minute
it's like the only reason he lost was because he got cocky, even though he's a favorite don't underestimate Jan, he's a technical and powerful striker, but at the same time he's most likely exiting his prime.

Ankalaev is so soft spoken that it's haunting. I think he's better than Jan everywhere, he's more athletic, lighter on his feet and has better striking and wrestling. Jan has that one punch KO option, but Ankalaev can just pull out a Bobby Knuckles / Leon - one, two, headshot bang! I think Ankalaev takes it, and he's gonna be a force to be reckoned with. No one takes the belt back, not Glover, nor Jiri and not Jan..
I wish Blachowicz can win, but I think Ankalaev will win the title, because he is a killer machine.

Ankalaev made Smith look easy which is hard to do, even if Smith might not be top 5 it was still impressive.

I am honestly one of those people that think Ankalaev is on a different level. Not only is he beating Jan, but I think the fact that Glover would not fight him on short notice, speaks for itself. I think Glover knows he cannot beat Ankalaev - and wants to run it back with Jiri and get one more shot at the belt (which Anakalev is going to hold) Glover wants time to prepare for him, which is smart.
But he just doesn't have the hands to stand with Ankalev. Glover will need to exploit Analaevs only weakness so far... and submit him. But I don't think Glover will take this path.. he's going to try to bang with him and he's going to get KTFOed!
Same with Jiri... Jiri is out for legitimate reasons, but he was controlled by Glover. If anyone could defeat Anakalaev it will be Jiri... but we will see how long it takes him to heal.
Someone interesting on the way up is Jamal Hill. This would be a good match up for hill vs Anakalaev when he is champion. It will be interesting to look at Hills rise as well...
I believe that Ankalaev can beat Jiri too, he could almost have been knocked out by Glover and in that Ankalaev is very good and could get a knockout... who I think is dangerous is Rakic because he is big and strong and also has a great wrestling that could complicate
